Not expecting any sympathy,just saying how difficult the current situation is with online gaming and how hard it is
to gamble in peace.
A week ago I was a happy bunny, have accounts at playojo, mecca and grosvenor,I was vip at playojo and had just
been made a vip at mecca,
Fast forward a week,I have lost vip status at playojo, and both my mecca and grosvener accounts have been suspended.
As far as I know I have done nothing wrong at playojo,took quite a few of their free spin promos and was actively encouraged to with emails but always made sure I played free spin winnings for a long time before withdrawing and also made
deposits without claiming promos.Since losing vip status I no longer get any free spin promos and have chatted to them twice, just getting stock answers and no reply to the question why.
Contacted Mecca to find out why the account ws suspended, they said they needed to speak to me before the suspension
was lifted, told them it was the 4th time they had done it and it had taken weeks for it to be sorted each time,they promised
to phone me within 10 minutes,call never came.
Give me the wild west we used to have,never had any problems,you deposited what you liked, got paid every withdrawal if
you played at well established casinos.now we have to more or less beg to be allowed to play, watch every deposit to make
sure we dont trigger SOW,s
Really ready to pack up totally but hard to do it after 20 years of online gaming.

So many rules now, especially around kyc and sow, there're sucking the joy out of what should be a fun leisure experience (provided it's done in a responsible way of course)
Every time you log on and see a message waiting for you in the 'my account' section your heart sinks as you wonder what fuckery awaits!
I play a lot less now than I used to tbh as I Iike to play reasonably high stakes quite a bit of the time and I'm sick of being constantly checked on and I resent having to divulge personal financial information, that's why Video Slots and Casumo both got fucked off by me, just too intrusive!

What gets me is that they have an obsession with deposits without taking winnings into account,
I have a dedicated gaming account with a healthy balance which I reluctantly submitted to all the casinos
showing all deposits and withdrawals which proves i can comfortably afford to deposit what i do due
to winnings, I have won 5k at mecca then deposited £500 and had the account suspended until i can convince
them i could afford to deposit that amount, crazy.

Dont think you are safe depositing large amounts anywhere now, The UK will soon be as bad as Malta with
another raft of regulations on the cards following the latest bullshit research report.
We have £2 stake limits to look foward to, thats a cert before the end of the year,not too bothered as it rarely
ends up well for me betting above that,but its going to fuck online gaming up big time.

Shadow I feel your pain. Ive had that Grosvenor BS, literally asking me 100s of questions about minute aspects of my slots play. For example why I played a certain slot (Rise of Merlin if I remember) twice as quickly as another slot, asking exactly why I made a 2nd deposit when I lost the one an hour ago.

Literally asking BS questions, and had nearly the same load of absolute shyte from Bet365 last year too.

Paddy power suspended my acc. weeks ago, thats because i happened to chat @bingo, saying i'm a slot addict lol. It was a joke, as others in chat was saying the same things..as i did..i am a so on so forth....They told me the same thing that someone will ring me. It was from the gambling responsibly complaince team.I must set a gambling limit, so i agreed with the agent to do that, and they lifted the suspension. I don't deposit much @Paddy power, just an occasionally £5 or £10, so suspension is abit strange.

Therefore. do take the call @Mecca if you want your acc. to remain open, just a chat afterall.

queue,honestly took weeks for them to call me once and i dont see why i should waste my time going on

Tough on you..its a sorry state this gambling industry and its bsss..I don't like @Mecca myself, i used to have a acc. there but that was more then 10 years ago, i remember vaguely, they send me a email that mentioned, if acc. is inactive over a certain period, a admin fee is applicable. To me that is wrong, so i ignored email, and just let them close my acc.
