I'm going to come right out and ask. Are any of the players who have deposited all week going to be rewarded in any way for all the stuff we have gone through? I thought it was going to be 3 days from sent emails, but apparently it's 3 days from activation. So this is going to go on for a bit. I have cashback coming on Friday but I feel it's just going to be wasted.

However Dan, we see or at least I see no changes. Games still lag, disconnections still happen, some slots won't open until i have not reloaded them 3 or 4 times.

While I agree in principle I think they should look into a more permanent solution regarding freerolls and frequent depositors as the battles have become too popular for their own good even outside this promo, I think it might be a good idea to have a premium tier or two (obviously with much higher deposit requirements than the regular freeroll), premium tier one: must have deposited £500 in last month, premium tier Harry_BKK musty have deposited £1000+ within last 7 days to qualify (and bump up the value of the freespins won on the premium tiers a bit as well).

I normally hammer Videoslots quite hard from Thursday onwards from back of the queue to get in the top 200 by Sunday in the race. I was more than annoyed that I couldn't get in any battle from last weeks play. Like others have said, it's a kick in the teeth and an ill thought out promo where you piss off some of the regulars.
I'll give it a miss until this debacle is over.

While I agree in principle I think they should look into a more permanent solution regarding freerolls and frequent depositors as the battles have become too popular for their own good even outside this promo, I think it might be a good idea to have a premium tier or two (obviously with much higher deposit requirements than the regular freeroll), premium tier one: must have deposited £500 in last month, premium tier Harry_BKK musty have deposited £1000+ within last 7 days to qualify (and bump up the value of the freespins won on the premium tiers a bit as well).

I hope you did not misunderstand me as I have nothing whatsoever against you guys getting free access to the battles. I sincerely apologize if my remarks offended you or anyone else.

My main point is that VS increased the potential battle participants 10-fold but left the amount of available places for a battle at 500.

They saw the fiasco going down on the first day of the promo, including their casino going completely offline for a few minutes due to the high demand, and could/should have reacted on the second day by either increasing the max. number to 750-1000 or set-up separate battles. Although i find the first option the better one, the more take part, the more fun.

It reminds me of the first week of the battles when the number was just max. 90 or 200/battle, they filled up in less than 1 minute!!! VS wisely reacted quickly and increased that number to 500. Why have they not temporarily increased that number this time???

Will be very interesting to see what happens today after 12.00noon with all the players receiving the weekly cashback and the increased run for the afternoon battles. Will their servers be able to cope? Or we might need again 30 seconds/spin

I said that a couple of days ago, and still don't see why it hasn't been done.

Either increase the number that can take part, but that would be my least favorable option as you could still have 3000+ people trying to take part in a battle with only 750/1000 places, or leave it at 500 and have a freeroll every 30 minutes, but only allow one entry every 2-3 hours, which would stop everyone sitting there with fingers on button at the second the next one opens.

Its a piss take that you work towards a wagering requirement then when you complete it find you can't get in as thousands of others who haven't made a single deposit that week are taking all the places. I'm not having a go at the players, as anyone would do it, but the promotion is a shambles, and one that should have been avoided. Theres only usually 100-150 places left in the freerolls, adding 3000+ people to those eligible is OBVIOUSLY going to cause problems for people being able to enter. I usually take part in 3 or 4 minimum a day, I've manged to get in 2 since the promo started.

Dan seems very quiet on the matter, just popping in every now and then to say they are listening to feedback, but surely it was obvious what the feedback would be before they sent the codes out. From posts on here its costing them money too as I have hardly deposited this week, and others have deposited less by the looks of things, but no real apology or anything to act as a sweetener to those who are losing out.

Today I was kicked off Gemix.
Kicked off DOA after a bonus round and had a bit of lag on DOA too.
This was all before 11am, so god knows what its going to be like later on

Still can't get into all of the free roll battles. I probably could if I set my watch and register as soon as it opens, but who wants to do that?

However, to take you pub example: If you do a 5-7 freebie you have extra staff, stock up more beer/drinks, etc. etc., meaning you are prepared for the extra people.

To transfer that to VS: You prepare the servers, increase the total available places in the battles etc, etc. This will ensure that your regulars will still enjoy their battles (beer/drink) and the freebie hunters can too. Everybody is happy!!!

I played a battle today where I started in 382st and after 100 spins I ended up placed 452nd. And that with 30 odd players who registered not taking one spin by the battles end.
I intend to join the next one to see just how backward I can get

Freeroll are usually quite good and something worth having . Now this week they are barely worth doing because too many players and laggy spins

It's like you drank all week at a pub and they said right free beers every 2 hours next week for those who spent over £500 this week . Then you go to the pub and they say oh yes there are free beers but only for the 1st 500 people and the beer is not as good it's tesco value lager

If you go to your usual pub, and the manager tells you if you buy 10 drinks every day for the next week, you will get free drinks for the following week, so you buy more drinks than you would normally, go back the following week and get told, oh sorry, you can't come in, we are full because we decided to give free drinks to everyone rather than just those who spent money, would you be happy with that?

Just had a 3hr DOA session with no lag, no disconnections and constant smooth spinning.

Played the 1000FS Fruit Warp battle as well and that too ran absolutely smooth. BTW, scored over 3400 points = 340% RTP and i am maybe 15th!!! Just crazy what kind of result you need to be in the top spots. On a normal day 2500-3000 points on this slot was always enough to be in the TOP3.

I certainly did, stopped playing most afternoon & evening battles and do now the early morning ones ( which is noon at my place). Just registered for 100FS Starburst and 1 minute before the start there are only 168 registrations. Plenty of places left, you guys in Europe just have to be up early

I also played my cashback instead of withdrawing it as i initially had planned (was over 110$) and later in the evening I even deposited (after Dan announced that they deployed a fix for the lag, and the games ran indeed super smooth, which i posted in this thread )

They are still on the same spot in my "favorites" list, right at the top, no worries.

Playing Jack And The BeanStalk battle (5euro rebuy) and on the last spin I am pretty sure I got 3 chests but instantly the rebuy box came up blocking the view . So I clicked cancel on the rebuy because I had a low score at the time and wanted to see how the freespins went before I decided to rebuy or not . But the game just closed without giving me the freespins and wouldn't resume and my score hadn't gone up . When looking at the battle it says you have used all of your spins. As my colleague explained, the limit is 100 spins, so if you receive freespins on your last spin you won't be able to play them since the limit has been reached.

Anyone who plays battles knows that you have 100 spins but if you hit 3 scatters or w/e and get freespins then they are extra spins and not included in the 100 spin count , right ? Am I missing something here ?

Playing Jack And The BeanStalk battle (5euro rebuy) and on the last spin I am pretty sure I got 3 chests but instantly the rebuy box came up blocking the view . So I clicked cancel on the rebuy because I had a low score at the time and wanted to see how the freespins went before I decided to rebuy or not . But the game just closed without giving me the freespins and wouldn't resume and my score hadn't gone up .
