Whats the point in meeting the wagering requirements just to find out that every battle is full and therefore you can't get in. Complete waste of time, and as for taking feedback on board, surely this would have been apparent before the codes were sent out? we understood it that way as well. I can see the reason behind your promo and it is actually in itself a pretty good marketing campaign. If just a small percentage of those 3500 tokens turn a player into a loyal VS customer then it all has paid off nicely. You have to try to know, we are always wiser afterwards though

A few more things from my side:

1. Maximum amount of players/battle

I am sure you guys agreed to the promo in a meeting where you discuss how best to do it, who to send the promo to, etc etc. It must have been clear to you though that you are going to disappoint some loyal players that deposited&wager every week the required amount just because of these battles. Now they find it very hard to register.

Since most of the VS players are from central Europe it is obvious that the afternoon and evening (GMT time) battles will be overrun by those promotional extra 3500 entrants and that additionally to the 350-400 usual participants. In your promo preparation it should have been clear that leaving the number at the max. 500 players will cause havoc because you have now 10-fold the amount of people vying for the same amount of battle places. Raising that number temporarily to 750 or 1000 would have made all the difference.

2. Chat room

- You have to "police" the chat room more closely. The language and expressions posted have no place in a public chat and your staff should immediately warn the respective players and even block them from tournaments should they still continue in the same tone.
- Chat should be mandatory in English. I am sure everybody registering for an online casino can speak a few words in English.
- Allow the chat window to be opened in a separate window/tab as the current one is just 4 lines and the messages are flicking by in superfast mode making it difficult to read. Especially since you are announcing every bonus/free spins round. It would be much better if i can have it in a separate window in large scale.

3. Suggestions for future similar promos

- To avoid getting "Jane&Johnny Freebiehunter" cloaking up your casino, and who have no intention to become a loyal player, maybe it would be wise to ask for a modest 10 or 20$ deposit (waive the wagering requirement) to allow 3 days of battles. You will see how quickly that number of participants is dropping but those who are really into VS will do the small deposit with no hesitation.
- Prepare your servers better for the busy periods as you basically initiated a self-inflicted DDOS last night (quote jonmincher from different thread). This leads to loss of revenue from normal play and sends players, including me, running to other casinos for their play.

It took 4 or 5 reloads to actually get the bonus round to show, and i had to keep going through my sevens dropping in everytime.

It has been indeed quite a "nightmare" to play regular slots yesterday at VS. I played DOA and 2 of the many incidents/errors stood out which happened as well AM:

1. Reel 1 stopped, Reels 2-5 kept on spinning - waited 5-6 minutes and then reloaded. Bet amount was taken from my account.
2. Reel 1 stopped with Scatter in A1 position, Reel 2 turning in, i can see the scatter is about to stop and suddenly Reels 2-5 freeze completely. Waited again a few minutes before reloading. Bet amount again taken from my account.

DOA reverts to the standard start screen, hence I never know what those spins would have been. I clearly saw 2 scatters on the 2nd incident yet on restart those were nowhere to be seen.

On both and a few other occasions it logged me out completely as well when i tried to reload the slot.

Around 5pm the games were totally unplayable, just logged off after the 5:15 battle as I was pretty frustrated by then. Bet-AT got then the rest of my deposits yesterday.

My freerolls expired before I thought they would so I activated the promo -- good until 05/22 -- so it is valid from when it is validated

There is no way of checking yourself if you have met the wagering required to gain the free 7 day pass. I only presumed that I had. Upon checking with CS it was confirmed that I had met those requirements as of the early hours of yesterday morning. Because I had activated the 3 day pass yesterday morning I will get no benefit whatsoever from the 3 day pass as its usage coincides with my qualification period. CS confirmed this morning that the 3 day pass is good to go from the time it is activated.
Why is there not a facility to check your qualifying status for the battles instead of hounding the poor CS who must have enough to do as it is. Such as fielding millions of complaints about the battle qualifications and their impact?

we understood it that way as well. I can see the reason behind your promo and it is actually in itself a pretty good marketing campaign. If just a small percentage of those 3500 tokens turn a player into a loyal VS customer then it all has paid off nicely. You have to try to know, we are always wiser afterwards though

A few more things from my side:

1. Maximum amount of players/battle

I am sure you guys agreed to the promo in a meeting where you discuss how best to do it, who to send the promo to, etc etc. It must have been clear to you though that you are going to disappoint some loyal players that deposited&wager every week the required amount just because of these battles. Now they find it very hard to register.

Since most of the VS players are from central Europe it is obvious that the afternoon and evening (GMT time) battles will be overrun by those promotional extra 3500 entrants and that additionally to the 350-400 usual participants. In your promo preparation it should have been clear that leaving the number at the max. 500 players will cause havoc because you have now 10-fold the amount of people vying for the same amount of battle places. Raising that number temporarily to 750 or 1000 would have made all the difference.

2. Chat room

- You have to "police" the chat room more closely. The language and expressions posted have no place in a public chat and your staff should immediately warn the respective players and even block them from tournaments should they still continue in the same tone.
- Chat should be mandatory in English. I am sure everybody registering for an online casino can speak a few words in English.
- Allow the chat window to be opened in a separate window/tab as the current one is just 4 lines and the messages are flicking by in superfast mode making it difficult to read. Especially since you are announcing every bonus/free spins round. It would be much better if i can have it in a separate window in large scale.

3. Suggestions for future similar promos

- To avoid getting "Jane&Johnny Freebiehunter" cloaking up your casino, and who have no intention to become a loyal player, maybe it would be wise to ask for a modest 10 or 20$ deposit (waive the wagering requirement) to allow 3 days of battles. You will see how quickly that number of participants is dropping but those who are really into VS will do the small deposit with no hesitation.
- Prepare your servers better for the busy periods as you basically initiated a self-inflicted DDOS last night (quote jonmincher from different thread). The casino games (not speaking about the tournament) were at times completely unplayable, spins with huge lag, disconnections; you went even totally offline for a few minutes when the registration for the 17:15 (IRRC the time) battle started. This leads to loss of revenue from normal play and sends players, including me, running to other casinos for their play.



Personally, i will hesitate to deposit at VS for the next 2 days, not because i am angry about the promo (i am not ), but because i was totally frustrated at the game play i had yesterday. Could not go more than a few minutes without a problem with the games, be it disconnection, error message or laggy spins. Reloading a slot time and time again is no fun.

At the moment the early morning battles are the easiest to register for. The later in the day the more players are home from work/study etc and try to take part hence the battles will be filling up more quickly. The current one (500FS on Pearls of India) has been open for 15 minutes and there are still about 100 places left.

The afternoon and evening battles will be full within a few minutes as those are busiest times in the casino

I have failed to get in several battles already and when you do get in there are 2 or 3 times the usual number of people vying for the same limited prizes..
I don't deposit/play on VS solely for the freeroll access but it is one factor in choosing to play there . I prefer to play with a bonus but VS don't offer those so instead the race,cashback,freerolls make up for it

That is exactly right, I was trying to play and got pissed off so didn't deposit any more, nor will I be until this is over, unless there are battles that cost that I fancy a go with. MrGreen got my other deposits last night instead.

Completely agree. I'm not particularly bothered about match bonuses etc, but why I play at VS is the freerolls, battles and race, yes they might not be as much as say a 100% match bonus, but you do have more chance of cashing out. Took me ages to play one of the £5 battles last night around 5pm I think,. as the reels were running so slowly.

For me, the incentive to play here rather than at ANY of the MANY others is the Ability to play in freerolls in addition to the usual good stuff.

Having deposited (considerably) more than the minimum, and having not been able to get into a tourney since, My desposits, like the other guys, have gone elsewhere.

I Fully appreciate the idea behind getting new players through the door (I do it for a living!), it should never be at the cost of your loyal players.

Badly executed? From the ones I have managed to enter,besides it taking up to over an hour to play the spins,I've won 5 free spins. My luck's so bad that if I fell into a vat of nipples I would emerge sucking my bloody thumb!
I understand too that errors can be made and I feel for Dan because he's obviously taking one for the team on this.
