Oh yeah. Its not just VS but the game is clearly buggy. I'd ditch it from battles and report the issues to Netent. Been bugging me for ages but never got around to flagging it up. Til now.

Another bug on NetEnt is when you're on the splash screen at the start, and you have to click continue, it has the tick box saying 'click here if you don't want to see this again' doesn't matter how many times you click it you still get it next time!

Gave up trying. Got in for about 5 battles but they kept filling up so fast I just stopped trying -- kept placing around 4th. I didn't have a lot of time this weekend to try to register for these battles but I have to say a big thank you to Videoslots for putting such an awesome promotion together. Wish I had more time (and I wish these rock&roll slots would love me a wee bit more). Hendrix and Guns&Roses do not show me the love!

Same here, can go hundreds of spins without even getting bonus. Never known a slot give 2 scatters as much.

Had a bonus run yesterday on Jimmy, 5 bonuses and it gave a shitty coin win on 4 of them.

Hope they do a better job with the Motorhead one

We have gone through the screenshots you have uploaded and we can see that Jumboshrimp has gotten himself a brand new toaster with a score of 2428! In places 2 – 7 we have, in order: Vladar, Andyhinkley, The Viking, colinsunderland, spintee, and LOOKAWAY.

I would like to jump in again :)

At first I didnt think much of the promo, But yesterday I called an early weekend, Closed my eyes for 20 minutes and had a good go on the jimmy torneys, I was very surprised, they did get filled up swifty but waited no more than a few seconds before a next one started, I won a good few spins, Hey even won a phone case but I told Dan that I have no use for it so feel free to do what ever with it,

Another great promo, They just keep surprising us :)

Earlier in the thread I suggested a 12 hour ban or something for anyone who did that 3 times in say an hour or two. I understand sometimes the phone can ring or someone can knock on door, but I noticed the same players doing it 3 or 4 times in a row, no excuse for that as it is obviously just to piss others off. If the game isn't loading for whatever reason, if it does it 3 or 4 times, then its obviously not working so being banned wouldn't matter, and I would expect they would contact live chat who could over ride a ban if it was a real error.
 
I believe most of those players was having a bad computer or low connection, not that they did it to be evil.
I saw a few writing that they had tried to make it work but the game didn't load, and others responding that it had happened to them also.

I myself needed to clear some cache and cookies to be able to keep on playing.
We can't tell people to not try to play can we? :) A shorter time than 15 minutes would be greate though.

It was fun when I learned how to get in to the next game fast, so thanks VS:thumbsup:
 
Yes but I think considering the battles are free and always available then there is simply no need to give 15 minutes anyway . Who needs 15 minutes to do 25 spins ? If someone registers and is ready to play then they can easily complete the spins in a few minutes . If they have to answer the phone or w/e then no problem they will simply get a zero score and can enter another battle

I'm not just saying this from greed and wanting to get more battles in less time (although ofc that would be great) . I wouldn't even care if they put a limit on the number of battles allowed per person. It's just tilting having to wait around for people who probably just forgot they entered it or as suggested strange people who seemed to do it deliberately.

Can you do special battles with bigger prizepools and more rebuys or rentrys ? But not silly amounts like 32 red

Say a daily 5euro buyin with 1 rebuy possible and you can renter up to 3 times or something ? And make it last 24 hours and a 3000euro prizepool ? Then also maybe a weekly with bigger prizepool and more rentries possible (5?) Battles could be huge on your site , you will be the pokerstars of slots (when pokerstars was good pre-amaya :p)
As long as you give the low rollers a chance by not allowing tons of rentrys and rebuys then I think everyone will enjoy the occasional battle with the potential for huge payout... After all we play slots hoping for that 1000x mega hit

People are far from moaning about the free rolls, We all know VS is one of the best place for value for money, What the gripe is the qualifying criteria, I managed like 20 hours on free rolls over the weekend but than not qualify, Thats the problem, I had no more cash to load up and when that happens and leave it a few days you have to start all over again,

If you a mid roller than its no problem as you could do this within half an hour or less but for small rollers or people that depo 50 - 100 a week it is a tight squeeze,

Bad move (in my opinion) by Videoslots giving out the 3,500 free battle spins for 3 days.

Tried to enter one of the battles and it is already full (500 players max I believe).

What about those that actually do deposit regular (and not a little either?). Can't even enter the free roll battles now because those that normally don't qualify for them have entered.

It was a pretty stupid move really but you have to remember nothing ventured, nothing gained,

Learn from mistakes, I guess it was a good move in one way as there will be alot of players that are waiting about and probably deciding to make a deposit, But there will be a lot of free loaders as well to take into account, Nothing can be perfect in this day age and unless tried and tested it cannot be ruled out, I think this idea would be thought over for a next such kind gesture,

You have to take note that VS is probably the only casino that is actually build something in for the players and to make it even better they have to try new stuff,

Look at all these new casino's, Spin the wheel, make it to the next level, what do we get, Poxy 5 free spins if that, Come on this shit come in when the dinosaurs went out, & you have to remember that VS also has levels, but they also managed to stack in cash back, race leader board, free battles, and free stuff when playing games, Did I forget to mention all wager free, Also there have the buy in battles which I see no other casino doing such things, The only things other casino are implementing is how to stiff players on there wins,


Sorry to other casino out there that are trying, Wasn't knocking the work you try and put in for us players, I will say it again and most likely repeat it many of times, The only reason I play at other sites as I play as I look at the smaller picture, and not in the long run, I like a quick deposit bonus at the time, and thats the only reason, I will guarantee if I stick the money in VS than at the end of the week I would be better of, As mentioned above by all the rewards that are involved,
 
There are lots of reasons to play on VS but any promo should not adversely affect any players
If you qualify for the freerolls you know you have a week's worth of shots for free spins and it can add up to a decent amount - now with this promo you a) might not get in the freerolls because of max entrants and b) will win a lot less often because every freeroll now has the max no. of entrants

So this "promo" is actually having a negative impact on some of us :(

You can't just consider the freerolls a freebie when videoslots don't seem to offer redeposit bonuses . I usually only play with a bonus but I play on VS also because of the great extras like casino race , cashback and freerolls . Plus the superquick cashouts :notworthy

You can please some of the people some of the time...

To be fair, I've always been eligible for these tournaments from my play but don't really mind if they occasionally offer a chance to less frequent players.

Its obviously a marketing exercise and intended to drive play on the site. More players makes a casino more sustainable and able to think about new concepts and deals rather than simply surviving.


Think its a reasonable trade off which will benefit casino and players over time.

But on this occasion I (and no doubt others) will have three days of either not being able to enter the battles period or have even less a chance of getting the free spins than you would otherwise.

The 16:15 UK time battle is full...... I missed the 14:15 battle because it was full too (that was at 14:15 on the dot).

I say it again, nice for those that otherwise would not be able to enter the battles (and I genuinely do mean that), but it is not so nice for those that pumped money into the casino this week (and more than likely lost it - the nature of the game).

Here is a suggestion - have two free roll battles starting at the same time. One for those with the free tickets and one for those that qualified through the normal means.

Your right and I am not debating none of that, I can assure you If I wasn't able to register for the 3 days I would not be happy, As I said I only qualified yesterday evening and by this morning I didnt, Even thou I got the 3 days free I still made a small deposit that would of no doubt qualified me after the play time, For how long I do not know but did a small take out as was not feeling the machines,

It has had an impact on the players that are trying there best to get in and wager the necessary, I am sure next time it will be planned better, But there is not many sites that give you a bonus any way, may be one or two bonus a wekk of some sites but that comes with a mega wager, Take VS most weeks they give free spins out like on the Tiuesday, Wager free yet again,

I am not sticking up for them and I agree with what you say but whats done is done, For every 1 disgruntled player there be 10 happy ones (in this case) and visa versa, It was a bit of a pigs arss and a kick up the people arss that have been trying or did qualify for the battles, But I bet its been noted just like last time when people moaned there was not enough space to enter the battles, What they do? Go and up the entries,

Its not an easy task, Some sites canot even get a bonus added auto without hassle and they have nothing going on there sites,

I do hope you get in a few and win some spins of course, It would not even matter if there was 10 player to me as I still be at the bottom lol, Thats how bad my game play has been

Bad move from VS but understandable in some way, get more traffic to the site. However, as with most freebie promos you have "Jane and Johnny Freebiehunter" suddenly crawling out of the basement and vying for those FS. Once the promo is finished, they vanish just as quickly back to where they came from, never to be seen again, speak to deposit and actually become a loyal VS player!!!



Before promo:

350-400 players fighting for a few spins

- chance: 1 in 5 to get some FS as mostly they are going up to 75th place

During the promo:

350-400 players + 3500 invitation receivers fighting for a spot in the race first :eek:

- chance to enter a battle: 1 in 8
- chance to enter and win some FS: 1 in 56

Not even worth the hassle trying to enter the battles during the promo period!!! :eek:

Agree with "interlog", there should be 2 different battles - one for the loyal players as usual and separate promo battles for all the non-depositing FS hunters!!

EDIT: Thinking of doing a 48hr TAB at VS and deposit my dosh somewhere else.

Ah. I was waiting to hear from you Harry! Yes, both you and Interlog are both correct as is Gordiecolin. I as well, lost $70 and did end up qualifying. Ended up with some free spins and have recovered a wee bit of it which is satisfying. At this point, I can't be bothered even trying. I do not think I will play for 3 days by which time my freerolls would have expired (perhaps even tomorrow but I would have at least had another good chance at some free spins. Anyway, I guess put it on autoplay and go back a few hours later to see if you even made it to the 300th spot.

I do understand why VS did this though. Many of us have bitched and moaned about not qualifying due to low RTP (me included). I just wish it hadn't happened during the period that I actually qualified. LOL.

As Terry said, what's done is done. But, I would like to see an extension of our freerolls or a free battle ticket. But, I realize this would be a logistical nightmare to sort out.

Let's cut Dan some slack though. Tough to be a servant to so many Gods.
 
I just succeeded the first part - 1 in 8 to register. :thumbsup:

The site crashed when the registration for the 1000FS Twin Spin battle started. Probably, over 3000 people trying to register at the same time is too much even for the VS servers.

A few minutes later the site came alive again and i registered at 480'ish. :D

Now i just need the 1 in 7 to get some FS ..... LOL

There are still 11 spots as of now, 16:58..... uups 16:59 the battle is full :eek:
 
Ridiculous - the 18:15 is already full and it has not even started yet! Took me ages to get into the battle screen (lots of others trying at the same time I guess) and by the time I clicked the register button (the counter was showing 495 - so 5 more places left), I was too late.

Here is hoping that Dan and the team has learned some lessons from it, because it is peeing me off now. And I am sure I am not the only one.

What worse is that people who just want to gamble with real money can't because all the "degenerates" who were given the 3500 invitations are going to slow down the casino now. People like Kim and Shaltar will not be able to stream because VSO made this ridiculous decision.

I tried to enter and the casino is overrun with users wanting to compete in the battles.

If there's any solace, it's that maybe I can compete in the late battles since the Europeans will probably be in bed. Still, good thing I haven't any real credits there right now. I'd have to play on mobile.

Yep, i do play as well the GMT morning battles regularly, they are the ones with the fewest players and hence biggest chances to get some FS.

01:15, 03:15, 05:15, 07:15am GMT - i regularly score FS in at least 2 of those, this morning my result was below 50% RTP in one of them and i still got 5FS.

I am sure VS have learned their lesson though as it hurts them certainly badly if their site goes completely down due to some FREEBIE PROMO.

It takes ages to reach level 21 as you have to wager some 170K or something like that. Once you are passed 20 it needs only 10K in wagering for each level. I am currently on Level 30.

Kim is the only streamer that is VS promotion only, Shalter makes a move where he fells is good, To say streamers are affected is out right ludicrous as if your a follower you would now he has not streamed for a good few days and when he does its about how many views he can get for that sub button, Oh and the money probs running dry, Take nothing away from Dan as he is there alot of the time,

It has affected the few people that deposit to make the battles, But do not forget that all the other perks as per are still there, I mean it does not affet the cash back. race wager, and in a few days battles as the norm,

@Harry H Harold my son, I am surprised you said about playing next site due to this error, Do not forget the other perks such as cash back and that
