Official Videoslots presents Battle of Slots!

an interestung new money-saving idea; they get to remove funds from your balance if you finish with a negative score :p
It's the amount of spins left to play.

A value of -1 seems to stop the battle from completing and allowing you to register to a new battle once everybody has played their spins.

Yep the battles are now all having connection issues :(

EDIT: Strange though as the actual website is normal speed and loading just fine, it is just the slots that keep dropping connections and being laggy. The site is not lagging it is the slots!

Impossible to play the last hour, give us an extra hour with 2 games, one 10 man and one 30 man battle !

Why would you want another hour with this unbearable lag????? This is just not fun like this. It does not appear it will be fixed any time soon so an extension in this instance would not be sufficient unfortunately. As much as I always appreciate extensions. I just do not think it is a good option this time around as the site is fine it is just all the slots that have the lag and issues.

I dunno, seems weird play n go, pragmatic and netent are all having catastrophiic failures; id have to guess the VS servers - but im the furthest thing from a techie

You feeling okay this morning.

Was that really a nice and positive post about VS and battles lol.

Hi @kennygamerboy,

Sorry for the late reply. We did some minor maintenance updates around that time to sort out the performance issues we had. Everything should be working well now, but please let us know if you experience further issues.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Kind regards,
Linus

Is that increased or decreased RTP from what they were running before? I just checked Quickspin's Eastern Emeralds on VS and says theoretical RTP is 96.58%.

20211012-110912.jpg
Old games are probably kept until they become converted. Quickspin have not adapted their whole back catalogue.

Check under new games and Wild Harlequin - is at 94%.

I would wager all Quickspin from now on will be 94% until VS can get their hands on old titles nerfed.

I didn't see any sign of Saturday Madness last weekend either. Less than three weeks until autoplay is removed as well, and some providers have already started. We had it so good and then it slowly began slipping away... ?
The removal autospins has to be one of the worst (if not THE worst) UKGC initiative so far.

I wouldn't mind, but it seems that with removal of autospins on pragmatic slots has also removed the ability to hold down the space bar to spin. Why? I'm fuming with the change to be honest. You just can't keep count of the spins you're putting into the slot. Awful awful awful.

The casinos, who have the financial clout to protest/rally against these changes, should be sticking up for the players in this instance. It's gone too far.

Quickspin have been at a rubbish RTP for a little while now. The thing that gives it away is that Quickspin games are turning up in the free battles. I don't think there's anything on a 96% RTP on the free battles any more.

Rubbish times...

Wedging down space-bar to play continuous games went out when turbo play got taken off. Player must initiate the start of every spin, another UKGC triumph ?
I've been holding down spacebar at a couple of sites since the end of turbo play. It just plays the spins constantly (with 2.5 seconds delay) until you release the space bar.

the thing what does annoy me with vs is they could just easily credit you 10 spins again very easily as they can see you didn’t play them? and also on other sites they would just more likely credit you the spins after one chat and also i sometimes think do they just do all this to get you say screw it they could easily give you 10 spins again manually. and same for my winnings i’ve got screen shot proof with time stamps and went into chat straight after the occurrence i know they have to contact play and go but with the customer service lady saying she’s had that exact same issue before with the same game then wouldn’t you think they would i just honour me the winnings based on that and the evidence i showed.
My Good Lord

Today they email and ask for a screenshot (third one) and a whatsmybrowser In firefox (I dont use)

There becoming a nightmare

Games are running slow. @Team.Videoslots - any chance of improving the site? You must be losing money every time it plays like rubbish.
Yep same issues starting as they did on Monday.

First noticed something amiss when my BOD bonus didn't get added to my score, despite being 3 or 4 spins from the end of my allocated spins (doesn't usually happen on PnG). The round did add when the prizes were calculated however.

Edit: The -1 spin tallies are back.

How can it be that every one of my battles has someone who never plays!? I am starting to think VS is intentionally having players (bots) register for each battle and sit there so the full 10 minutes runs out. In the screenshot below, this player, "Strife", has been in many of my battles and never plays.

Fewer battles = fewer spins doled out = $ Savings!

Of course it could just be a (large) number of players who have nothing better to do. But it just doesn't make any sense. :what:

Yes, I too would muse as to how Battles tend to follow the same timed sequences, for months and years, if not for something halting that 'flow'.

With every player seemingly intent on accruing as many Rewards as possible within a set timeframe, you'd think these events would proceed with haste. And of course, on average, you'd see the odd 'non-spinner' do their thing, or as the case may be, 'not'.

And yet, once e.g the player's spun their current round of Battles, the wait for the next 'turn' is pretty much identical in length. Is it to ration the Rewards quota and limit players to a maximum achievable Rewards amount per hour?

I think ultimately it matters not how sportingly one goes about their business in these Battles, because try as one might, these phantasmal 'players' seemingly won't ever go away, no matter how predictable or regulated their behavioural patterns ?

What determines if a player receives a free battle ticket code? It has been years since I have more than a few hours without qualifying for battles. I have had many emails over the years, never redeemed one as I was already qualified.

It has only been a week, but I do find myself missing the play. My longtime tenant lost his battle with cancer in August, and since his family decided to take what little there was of value and leave disabled, no vehicle me, with a unit full of junk and a place that needs a lot to be habitable again, my discretionary spending was slashed. I have deposited, but missed meeting the wagering requirements by a small margin.

Best of luck all in the battles, hope to see you again soon.

I have only received freeroll battle ticket codes via email when I have already long fulfilled the deposit and XP requirements. I have never received one when I have not already been qualified. So, VS purposefully sends me "perks" that they know are useless to me.

So the requirements seem to be the player must be already qualified, rendering the battle code unnecessary and unusable.

I believe this is down to whether you have deposited in the previous month (possibly month or previous X amount of weeks ?) , plus id imagine you have the recieve emails etc setting ticked in your account.

Since they started giving out those codes early last year , it's always been after depositing. When I've not deposited for a while I don't get them.

Also if you never used any previous codes you might have received, you can still use them (assuming the full amount was never redeemed for that dated code, which I've never seen happen yet) . :)

They’re not useless, you can activate them months after being sent them. So if your XP ran out and you didn’t want to/couldn’t deposit, if you had 20 tickets saved you’d effectively have 20 days of battles available.

My hazy memories from Freeroll Battle tickets is that I'd be sent them at all times, whether frequently depositing or as an 'incentive' to return to the site. I gave up trying to figure out their algorithm years ago ?‍♂️

Yet one thing that always remained was the expiration date of said tickets, often within a couple of weeks or so? And they were certainly not stackable from what I could tell, unless we're talking about different types!
