yeah in a queue with nearly 1000 and the sites still barely useable.

i dont understand how the recent battle weekend with 2 leander games went smoothly with no problems, yet tonight it breaks within 5 or so minutes. its odd.

I do wonder if its the number of players or the number of battles that is the problem here? Its not usual to have 2 x 10 player battles going on same time unless its the final 2 hrs on this day.

EDIT: Looks like they've switched to 30 man battles for at least one of the games.. personally if its the amount of battles is the issue, perhaps time for 60 or 90 man for Blitz?

yeah, that threw me too.

The 10 man's were causing issues which is why we had a few events with 2 x 30 mans, why revert knowing it causes problems?

i see they have changed 1 to 30 man, why not change both and take the limiter off thats a third less battles then

also only ran over 3 hours so its a lot worse than epic thurs in terms on amount of battles with limits on not so much a blitz as a crawl

I think the issue may be that there are too many people trying to play in a concentrated period of time. Might be better to start these battles at the midnight then end them at midnight 24 hours later. Maybe limit the amount of battles that players can enter during that 24 hour period so that outlay is capped at a level they'd usually see in the usual 3/4 hours.

if number of battles is a problem they would have given 100 man battles already i guess, so players must be the problem

But you'd be able to play your allocation of battles any time within that 24 hour period...what you wouldn't get is everyone trying to play at once so it should run smoother.

Rather than moan about battles not working, I am tonight going to come at this from a different angle....

Having come home from work, working in extreme heat and tired, I surprisingly felt ok and did not have any aches and pains nor a headache....

Serious question - is the traffic on the site really that much more than it used to be when the Battles ran smoothly (remember that far back?).

Or has something fundamental changed in the way they work, meaning more clicks are being registered?

I'm a million miles away from qualifying for Battles again, and won't particularly try until the issues are sorted, but I like the idea of the Blitz - keeps things fresh, if they ever work.
