I saw that starluck had good bonus terms and I thought I'd play a little blackjack tonight. I have played the free money version for a while and felt comfortable with it being fair. Well the real money version did not treat me near as well. 100+100 bonus =200 bankroll 2 dollar flat bet and 330 hand later I'm down 40units (=$80). So at a $120 I realized that this was not going to change and the downward trend was very consistant. So I moved down to 1 dollar hands and played for a couple hours straight and finshed up an additional -42 units ($42) So now I'm limping away with 78 out of my 100 dollars after just meeting the WR. I know there are things such as bad luck but when you play over 1000 hands you think some of it would average out and you would not end up -88 units of betting. I played perfect stradegy until I realized that doubling absolutly never ever worked so I stopped and that slowed the decline a little, I was only positive over $200 for one hand! The deck is packed full of small cards giving the dealer the advantage. I have never experienced blackjack this bad at RTG,Boss,Playtech,MG or any others actually for that matter. So the dealer had around a %60 house advantage you know that sounds right about where it should be for a good fair blackjack game

Wow

Wow a lot of people complaining about software and the famous Black Jack. I played at Star Luck a few years ago and I believe I just barely kept my deposit. I didn't think the software was fair either. Kept getting screwed when I had a 19 or 20 he would pull a 21! I made of a note of it and never played there again. So I feel your aggravation. Who knows if it's really fair or not. Only played there once so really can't say if it was fair or unfair.

I find Starluck Fair like most

I played in a lot of them & I feel they all do the same in some way.
& in every site you play on the free side you tend to win more.
but I do see Planetluck an off spring of Starluck is better for some reason & Starluck is better in other things too.
But all in all they all make money & you have sites that rip you off more too.

I played perfect strategy until I realized that doubling absolutly never ever worked so I stopped and that slowed the decline a little

i.e. You're starting to learn perfect internet strategy.

Update: Now I have to wait 24hrs before I make my widrawl request because the computer has to "clear me" first. Even though I met the WR fair and square...well at least I was fair.

If you don't follow perfect strategy (ie doubling, the players best friend) then I have absolutely no sympathy whatsoever.

Some of the complaints in this thread are ridiculous to be honest. "I barely kept my deposit" get used to it, "I lost $22" big deal. The chance of losing 88 units in 1000 is approximately 5% using your bizarre version of perfect strategy. Hardly statistically significant.

(Its not a 60% House edge either btw. Its an 8.8% one and lots of that is down to not following strategy)

Actually I keep good records when I play and I would of busted out by doubling when I should of. 5 doubles out of 80 or so worked/would of worked, rest game me 5's or smaller.

Please deposit 100 dollars there and go play 800 hands of $2 blackjack and play perfect basic stradegy and report back.

I had a crazy good run at starluck last time I played. The software is VERY glitchy, however.
interesting you mention that because my first session playing with funny money I made 10k doing 200 flat betting in no time, like the exact opposite of what happened during my real money experience. Maybe it's just really streaky...who knows. Can't prove anything either way

I have no issue with their fairness so I'm not going to waste on average $8 of my money proving a point.

I can't remember any specific results from my play there but I can remember a $500 cashout on a $100 deposit playing BJ. That doesn't prove anything though, just as your results don't prove anything

Over 5 years ago they were definitely rigged. My session there was in the millions to one chance of happening and many people had these terrible results using their software, including WizardofOdds. They don't seem to want to do anything about it. I doubt if their current software is rigged but they have already robbed enough people.

I've also just noticed the wizardofodds has removed all mention of iglobalmedia/partygaming from his blacklist and even links to their sites now :eek2: in the casino section. I'm not too happy with this. This is what it originally said in the blacklist before he removed it:
All iGlobalMedia casinos: Last year (2000) I advertised an iGlobalMedia casino and several viewers were outraged and insisted they were cheating. So at that time I played one myself and my losses were so excessive that I had to agree that the cards were not being dealt randomly. Without admitting guilt the iGlobalMedia management invited me to replay their games when they released a software update. In November 2001, I tried them again, playing at the Zantana casino under the new software. I played 323 hands of blackjack and had a loss of 16 units. This is well within the normal range; the probability of doing worse in a fair game is about 25%. So it seems to me they are now playing fairly. Unfortunately the frequent broken connections are still a problem. I also never received a 10% bonus I was entitled to. Other casinos using this software include Starluck, Big Cat, Luckyland, Megaplay, and Club Chance.

He's also just started advertising Club Dice again!

Bryan has been in contact with iGM regarding the, I think, four issues of software problems posted at Casinomeister.

I believe I'm correct in saying he's been ignored completely.

In the last 2 weeks I played about a 4 hour blackjack session of $10 bets. Although I got timed out over and over, which is a reason I will not play there again, After these 4 hours without any bonus I was exactly even and stopped.

The excessive timeouts and the fact i could not flush my account for 16 hours are the 2 reasons I will not play there. The cards however seemed normal. The dealer didnt have too many dealt 20's, or blackjacks and I didnt get dealt too few. The only oddity was all the 11's he had and 21'd but it obviously averaged out if I broke even.

I too experienced the fairness that others here speak of when I played with play money and I was kind of excited to play with real. I'll take my loses and move back to 32red. Where I should of stayed in the first place
