You see enough at B&M like, rubbing the coins/notes because they have to be warm for the machine to pay (can;t put anything cold inside her), rubbing the screen like its your last night together, giving the old girl a tap on the backside and saying "there there girl" it about time you put out.

Then there's the getting angry at the machine like its meant to give you money like an ATM/Bank Machine and punching it or slamming the buttons seems to work wonders for some people.

Gamblers.. pffft

Seeing people doing that is always funny... People rubbing the screen, touching the screen, patting the side of the machine lol! I've been playing for a while and still don't do any of that... What good is rubbing the screen gonna do? May as well hang a lucky rabbit foot on the machine.

As for me well... I move around constantly, I seem to do better like that and also enjoy being able to play more games

I do a few little things along these lines, including closing my eyes when waiting for the 3rd bonus trigger, physically covering my eyes just before the total amount is revealed after a bonus feature (if the multiplier is unknown) and probably most of all, have convinced myself that my dog is magic and when I'm hoping for an extra bit of luck, I touch his paw or tail just at the key moment lol

always put my hands up to face hoping i get something never works,

sometimes i dont know when to stop always hoping for another big win lol

On a more serious note...i too close my eyes if the scatters lands on reel 1,2 or 2,3 or 1,3! Im not sure its because of superstition, it just so damn nice to HEAR the 3rd scatter land on a reel =)

Haven't I heard this many times about B&M casinos that the slots near the doors pay better? Or am I just thinking I heard that? lol

I've heard that slots placed there pay better too - only if they are old slots
The reason being that the slots have to pay out a set RTP and as they reach the end of their life they need to up the payback to satisfy the regulators.

Of course as soon as the casinos know that we know that they'd do well to put to put the crap slots there in order to mug the unsuspecting superstitious punter into playing them when they are already way over their lifetime RTP - although that would be a tad cynical

It is a fact actually that some Casinos put extra loose machines, mostly nickels and dimes jackpot machines with extra high RTP near the entrance, for the sheer psychological effect.
As such they try to keep the winning players inside... if they come to close to the cashier section, these machines, and some quickly riled up sexy woman (or men) are to ensure or at least increase the will to "play on and party".

I have to cover up the rest of the reels and balance if I hit 2 scatters on 1,2 or 1,3 or something. Then I just keep my eyes on the scatter symbols I can see to see if I get the animation for the 3rd one hitting

Also I have to light a cigarette as well before starting a free spin round. I dont know why.
