I just noticed at bottom of the list says pricing is subject to change on the weekends. WTF I was there on a weekday. This price list isn't printed out or displayed at the mini-bar there is a QR code you need to download to see the prices. Now curious how much more it would have been on the weekend.

I'm going over to Vegas for 10 nights in April with friends (last time I went was 5 years ago) and this thread has put me on a bit of a downer! Sounds even more expensive over there than ever. I'm not into clubbing and I don't drink alcohol so I won't be haemorrhaging money on stuff like that - it will be low-stakes blackjack and slots, plenty of sightseeing and walking around, lying by the pool and a few nice meals.
$50 to put personal items in the fridge in your room is a fucking disgrace - imagine if you want to put medcation in there or something?
I'm already thinking of ways to save money over there. Might take a travel kettle and teabags over and make my own cups of tea. Fuck 'em 😄

What's happened to the $ sign on US price lists?
I was looking at the pricing for something in Vegas online yesterday, and wasn't sure if the numbers were the price, or what.
Maybe even THEY are too embarrassed to admit those crazy numbers are the prices!

Is'nt the raise in pricing gone up due to alot of "low class people" coming around and the bullshit factor started to go up? The unlimited drinks usually... I know that if you have that luxury location you can charge whatever you want, people still come knowing 40 million of people a year. Its insane.

My wife drinks 2-3 litres of fruit tea every day - so we bought a kettle with an American plug last time we were in Vegas.
Will be taking it with us this year - if I can find it in that junk storage we call "the attic"

Lol, can't believe I'm sharing this but.....ah, my youth.
My parents, pretty much my entire life, took a 6 week holiday every year to Vegas (house parties at Dio's house.)
Early 20s I moved to Cali and decided to drive down to Vegas and meet up with them for a couple days.
I get in, oh, around 10am.
I see my mom downtown pulling slots and am like, 'wow, you're up early'.
And she's all 'uh, I haven't gone to bed yet' lol
Anyway I order a beer and mom gives me this weird look.
'Too early'?
She's 'pfft, no, drinks are free and you want a beer?'
'Oh, rum and coke, thanks' lol
The days when liquor was free, (oh, a 50c tip) everyone would hand you free food coupons and buffets were large and cost near nothing to keep you in the casino.
Free wheel spins for prizes. The whirlwind boxes to grab cash. It was a blast.
Of course, Dio got a wee too bit liquored up one night (was it night? Remember... dark windows, 0 clocks and pre cell phone days and always day or night inside), got a bit um.....got my love on, in a quiet, dark corner of the casino up against a wall.
Of course, only the morning after, remembering, no such beast as a pvt corner in a casino and every square inch of the floor is monitored.
I'm probably still a video security watches at Xmas parties.
Anyway, was an utter blast. We always stuck downtown hopping from one casino to another, playing penny slots and dollar tables, getting abso snookered on liquor.

Just bumping this up as I am currently in Vegas! 3 nights at the Signature at MGM Grand and my first trip to Vegas since I’ve been properly slotting online.
It’s a bit mental isn’t it?!?
Had a bit of a mess around on some slots earlier and I hit a bonus on my very first spin! Ended slightly up after a few hours play, but all good fun for a fairly low roller who has a special 3 day budget.
Need some sleep but we’re gonna have a trawl around a bunch of places tomorrow where no doubt my daily play will be done in minutes!

WOW - that's exactly where we are going to be staying in 2 weeks' time!

We‘ve been before, so knew what to expect, but the MGM alone is pretty overwhelming at first! Today will be Top Golf followed by a day of visiting various hotels/casinos.
Bacchanal at Caesars tomorrow which is the only thing we’ve booked in advance - will report back on all!

The Mob mesuem and the Neon sign mesuem is worth a visit if your visit Fremont area if you like history of Vegas. Pinball mesuem is interesting its near Mandalay Bay.

So, Vegas is odd isn’t it? Walking down the strip I’m reminded of wandering around cities in Grand Theft Auto - minus the violence! Basically America turned up to 11! Oh, and the stench of cannabis pretty much everywhere!
Not sure we could deal with any more than 3 nights without going a bit crazy!
Fun non-gambling stuff to do - Top Golf by the MGM, Flight Club in The Venetian, a cheesy show if you like that sort of thing.
Food wise, yeah it is mega expensive - although the food courts and places like the Earl Of Sandwich are on the cheaper side. Also, do a buffet - good experience, and you’ll be so full that it’s 2 big meals in one go!
Slot wise - had a fun first night, then the next two were as if I was home playing on VS! But sitting at the machines is good for free drinks (with dollar tips), and the drinks are nice and strong!
It was good to stay at the Signature as its close to the strip, but pretty quiet as there isn’t a casino. Also, a great little breakfast place there!
Now we‘re off to San Francisco for 4 nights and a whole different holiday experience!!

This is my concern too. We’re going for 6 nights in September. Wanted 4 max but the flights were like half the price if we stayed an extra 2 days. Will be interesting for sure.

That's a bit like us! I was only planning 3 nights in Vegas, but my wife has a friend in Chicago, and she wanted to come down to see us in Vegas while we're there, so we stretched it to 5 nights to cover the weekend.
And like Congo, we're ending our trip on the West Coast in Los Angeles - after a brief visit to the incredible Grand Canyon. That's also definitely worth a look if you have the time.

A few more things I can recommend if going to Vegas. If looking to see a show I would recommend an adult-only but the show is fantastic. Atomic Saloon. Also, The Beatles Love at the Mirage is excellent. the Atomic Saloon is at the Venetian.
Looking to do things out of Vegas I recommend the Nevada Southern Railway Museum in Boulder city where you can rent a train bike. Bike out into the desert sunset on an old railway. Maybe stay the night at Hoover Dam Lodge your out of the city and right at Lake Mead where you can do a bit of hiking. The Pioneer Saloon is worth a visit if you are into a little road trip and old vegas history. The oldest running Saloon is in Goodsprings a ghost town. Also, it's the place where Clark Gable waited for days as his wife was in a plane that crashed into the mountains in think in the 40s? he waited there while the search party searched for survivors, but sadly there were none. Clark gable cigarette burn marks on the bar are still there. A really cool place and is full of history. The building is the same as the day it was built.
If going to the Grand Canyon I recommend renting a car and driving. It's a great scenic drive. I have done both and do not recommend a bus tour as you miss out on a lot and are rushed for time.
On my next trip to Vegas which will be this summer, I will be going to Laughlin for a few days. Never been but I like to check it out. Has anyone been to Laughlin?

Not been back since then, definitely wont be now.
Back then we got the room and decent meals all free being a lowish roller playing BJ on a 3to2 table with basic strategy at $10-$20 a hand tops, and a bit of slotting maybe $100 or $200 slot budget a day.
Almost every single trip they got $2-3000, a couple of times came back almost level which was amazing, never came back winning not once, but you felt you had some value for your losses and of course the free drinks were nice!!
The prices people quoting for stuff in this thread are literally insane, taking the piss!!

I totally loved my Vegas trip back in 2015!
Hotel was super nice and cheap, with daily pool parties, one can even smoke in the room haha
It was Treasure Island hotel as far as I remember, with first night in legendary 4 Queens hotel! I enjoyed the perks of free drinks and low costs in order to make people gamble, but I didn't gamble too much lol - so I wasn't that profitable guest to have
Also did roller coaster in New York replica
