Shouldn't take too long - just swapping out some graphics and the templates. Besides the rest of the site will be live at the time.

We're back open for business. I still have some work to do on the graphics - but we're good to go. Hopefully it's easy on the eyes and no one is going into epileptic seizures because of the new color scheme

I was having withdrawal symptoms whilst the site was down ... When it came back up, i thought the colours i saw were as a result of my prolonged absence of ... ... .... a few minutes...

Pinababy69, I am glad you broke the ice first...cause I am not too fond of the colors either..I liked the soothing swirls of bieges...and at times the holiday colors...but this is in your face, WOW....like..ouch??

Reminds me of the USA flag! LOL..When I first saw it I thought maybe it was a holiday coming up...

Yes..very bold...but..hey...these are only the second tired eyes looking at it...other than that, glad to be back! That waiting room sucked! Too much smoke...

If you're using photoshop - make a screenshot of the page and open it in PS. Then use the eyedropper tool and check your icon, and check the table background color it's in. You'll see a slight difference: #D3D3D3 is the color used in the template - #D5D3D6 is the one you're using. They are just about the same color. You really can't tell the difference.

Can I say though that it clashes with the main theme now, the golden toned background that matches the "casinomeister" in the header. I suppose because it's the trademark it can not be changed....however if it could maybe it could be a color that would synch up with the red, white and blue more?

Do you mean the blue buttons clashing? (buttons = quote, reply, thanks, etc.) I could change the buttons to the yellow/gold scheme if that works better.

She is correct.........The blue on blue imo........I agree with her/you on the button color change as the remedy.

EDIT:Suggestion, try the gold and the gray also on the buttons to see which looks better!

Edit: You know how when you go out and the sun is to bright, then you come in the house and can't see for awhile till your eyes adjust? Well that's what my eyes are doing now after looking at the changes, I went to get a cup of coffee and can't see!!!!!

I was going to suggest a silver for the BG.... is the wife making suggestions?
As for the buttons, I would make them match the silver/grey also, now the gold just looks out of place.





Edit- Of course then the white lettering won't show as well....could you make it the same red as the headers? Do you want to smack us yet CM? Hehe

My eyes, my eyes!
That Blue is so intense it is burning out my retinas, any chance it could be a little more pastel?
I mean the colour itself is fine but not when I am trying to read.
Otherwise it is more cheery than the old colour scheme, good job.

I've always been drawn to the earth tones. Gold works fine for me especially fading to black. The red is fine because it's not really red. Bright red would have killed me.

It's the white. White is fine for a page you don't plan on looking at for long but it's far too bright to stare at for any amount of time. I foresee eyestrain and monitor headaches in the near future.

This is just my opinion. Any web page I've built I've always toned the white down a bit with a slightly beiger (beiger is not really a word) eggshell or something slightly darker than 255,255,255. Those three numbers together are worse than 666!
