Signature Links

I received the email from CM that no longer would affiliates be able to have signature links.

I understand the reason and have to problem with it. However, some of us have sig links here that are years old, and, although not a lot of credit is given go sig links, a lot of credit is given to aged links.

I'm afraid that this decision by CM may negatively affect some people's serps.

Not that I really care about other people's serps. LoL But it makes for an interesting discussion about the effect of sig links on SEO.

Senior members and above are allowed to have links in their sigs. Serps shouldn't be affected since these are all no-follow links anyway.
