Problem with L&L is that there is no one stand out casino as they are all good (although I’m sure I counted at least 3 nominations for ABC, so was surprised to see it ommited).
Fret not my friend…. If you don’t walk away with 2 other awards it will be a travesty.

Okay i might as well post what will not be a popular opinion but i know it is one that others share and someone has to mention the elephant in the room so to speak.

I never voted for a casino this year as personally i did not think any casino stood out or deserved to be a casino of the year. To me an award like that should go to an outstanding place not just the best of a bad lot and just about every casino this year has had faults.

But looking at the list which is a shortlist from a few voters. I will just take 3dice for instance. A casino that majority of the members here can not even use.

So say it gets most votes. It would mean an award that is supposed to be prestigious going to a casino that only a few actually mention and play at that only a handful of people mentioned as the casino of the year. Same could be said for both Pokerstars and Bitstarz. Throughout the last year only a few members mention playing at them and praise them.

So like i said people might not like my opinion but this year i really do not feel it is a great award. Like Goatwack says it is like voting for your favourite STD.

So now members will be asked to vote out of the 5. Personally only use VS of the list but i know with technical problems this year and RTP drop etc. some people have been slating them so will not vote them. Which basically means people will be asked to select a casino from 5 casinos which they probably do not even play.

So it is like put 5 names in a hat pick one and vote for it. So looking this year it seems more like a casino will get what should be a prestigious award from your forum just for the sake of the award being given.

I’m actually quite surprised that only 3 out of 5 are CM accredited…..

I agree but I know I who I will be voting for. It was because of me and @dunover that 3dice made it into the shortlist!

I know that only a few can play here especially if they never made an account their before they had to close new registrations up for many countries when they brought in the new rules for certain countries, like the UK and Germany and a few others. But that said Pokerstars is a great casino but it has many many many bugs and issues too just like VS. Both VS and pokerstars are Insanely fast with withdraws. Pokerstars beats VS though as it is basically instant the minute you press the withdraw button it is sent straight away to your PayPal if you use PayPal that is lol.

But I will be voting for 3dice anyway when I do get the PM. I think they deserve it. They are doing some good things now and they are now working on releasing a lot more games more regularly too. I already said its downsides in terms of hard to deposit and withdraw if your in one of those countries that are basically blocked from using certain methods due to the new rules. But I still play there and I will continue to do so.

I am also not sure if any old 3dice members still use CM and they are MM too. But if you are, I would highly hope you all come and cast your vote when we all get the PM from @Casinomeister

No Novibet? Some issues for some re VISA withdrawals, bit of dodgy support (who hasn't?) but they pretty much stand out above the others - the ones i can play at (including VS/Unibet)

It's certainly the thin edge of the wedge this year, if i had to pick it would probably be Unibet for all but 2/12 months, or PS

Also, i was unaware we could select non-accredited casinos?

If so, might have gone for Mr Q - a casino that pays you in 25mins max and bucked the trend for going back to 96% slots as well - which, IIRC, is a first.

Hi all, just so you know, it's not just the input I get in the Best and Worst of thread, it is also the PM responses that come in as well. Each time I mass PM folks, I get a chunk and I add those responses into the frey. As for accred vs non accred, I think we've always allowed non accred casinos as contentenders, it just so happens that the better/best casinos tend to be Accredited casinos.

Im pretty sure it needed more then just you 2 to get 3 dice short listed ? i have been with 3 dice almost from beginning and loved it good games great support and fast cashouts
but last summer they took away almost all deposit and witdrawal options
More like s Crypto casino now ?

well, the list was drawn from all members (here and mass mail) and PMs to Bryan.
MMs vote, but that's open to anyone that qualifies and wants to be one.
If they dont reach out to Bry to be one, not much he can do.

It's the best system out there. This way we don't have a load of newbie players signing up and voting for a casino that gave them a special nudge $$$ for doing so.

The voting is done by those who care about this site, care about the awards, and care about the integrity of Casinomeister. Besides, I usually run the results by staff as well.

I can lead loads of horses to the river for a refreshment, but I can't force any one of them to drink. If you don't like the results, then get involved in the site.

Bitstarz is definitely the cream of the crop from the list. Customer support, games selection, cashout-times and comps makes them on the top of my online casinos list. And, the highest RTP settings on the most of the game providers. Not sure how VideoSlots can beat them, at least regarding RTPs?

That group is trash. Yes, they usually pay out eventually (I’ve known someone to wait months) but they’ve got the audacity to do sow on long standing players, when they’re still disobeying ukgc rules. They got in trouble for reverse withdrawals and now they have a reserve system which is exactly the same thing! As its keeping money in the casino and not in the players wallet!

TBF, the shortlist (and general lists) are based upon player input
if players didnt step up and post and PM, Bryan ( @Casinomeister ) can only do, what he can do
(And Jan, by his own admission, is out of the rep running...though not other noms)

If people would sooner see other persons and properties be nominated, they simply need put their 2 cents in when asked, is all

Well - this is the reason you folks need to get more involved in the forum. I ask folks for their input, half the people give it, then the other half complain that their casinos aren't listed.

I could just revert how I did this back in the earlier days, but I try to give you members a voice. If you folks don't take that opportunity, then it's on you. But I am trying to be as transparent as possible.
