Hi All,
I just tried to self-exclude from Redbet casino only to be told that it could only be actioned in their "Red Casino".
In their "Blue Casino" (this is where I mainly play) you can apparently only set betting/deposit limits, however these limits can simply be removed by the player and you can resume playing. In their "Live Casino", self-exclusion is up to the third-party operator to action.

Is this how self exclusion works?

It sounds like their trying to make it hard for me to self exclude.

Thanks

When you're logged in you have three options and one of them is to have your account closed totally for 6 months.
That is for the whole casino.

I'm sure if you told them to close your account forever because you have gambling problems you would never be able to reopen it.
They are a responsible casino and I'm sure they will help you out.

I actually asked them that I wanted to completely close my account, but they never gave me the option to close it....
I'll ask again.
Thanks

If you look under responsible gambling you will see those options.
Good luck! Tell them your reasons for doing it too especially if it's because you feel you have a problem. That's important for both of you.

Hi Zippy!

Just to be clear, you want to self exclude totally from Redbet and not only from a certain product? It sounds to me like you've been described how to block a specific product, like Casino Red/Blue, poker etc, and not your whole account.

In our responsible gaming section you can lock your whole account for a week, 1 month or 6 months. Please note you won't be able to re-open it within this period:
Old / Expired Link

If you want your account closed for lets say 1 year, or permanently, just contact our support team and they'll fix it. Mentioning gaming problems as a reason for closure will make your account permanently closed.

Edit: We've now added information to the exclusion page saying that you should contact support to exclude yourself indefinitely. Thanks for the feedback guys!
