Hi There,

Bit of a bitch and moan but how is everyone else getting on with Pokerstars Casino? Not playing poker but their online casino games.

I've made my first withdrawal and am being told I have to wait 72 hours before they'll begin the withdrawal process which can take 3-5 days (I presumed this was the bank processing time but based on chats, it's their internal processing times). I understand this buffer in the case of Poker winnings for security purposes in case of chip-dumping or hacking but for Casino winnings?

I'm not sure if it's just me or if this is a further reaching issue. Kind of frustrating nowadays to have to cope with this. With their use of BACS to pay winnings to mastercards it's looking like i won't see a sniff of my money until late next week.

Hi benmooe,

Stars and Tilt (at least) used to have a waiting period from the last deposit (48hrs). After that withdrawals in my experience are instant to web wallets. I have no idea what they processing times are with other banking methods.

Some of the Pokerstars "pros" left Pokerstars for moral reasons after they introduced their casino section.
Australians can't play in the casino section so I've never had the opportunity to try it. You want my opinion: it's a good thing too!

Pokerstars was ideal to play poker at without being tempted to lose a fortune on high variance, high house edge games.
Unfortunately, there's like a 95% probability that even their poker section will be banned soon in Australia. (Poker is rightfully being considered as gambling.)

One thing is almost for sure; you're money is pretty safe at Pokerstars, they strike me as really professional. There's nothing that compares to Pokerstars in the online casino world.

Sorry I missed this post.

I see it says your in england, so seeming your in the UK, why on earth are you even bothering with pokerstars when there is much better casinos that process withdraws within a few mins to 1 hour, Videoslots, risk casino, leovegas, Plenty of others too.

Just a friendly tip :)

But i hope you get your withdraw soon and well done on your winnings how ever much they are :)

EDIT: to note for example, When i want to find new casinos, I always check via CM, and other sites first, read reviews, and my main reason I deposit/play at one is if withdraws are processed within 8 hours or less. otherwise they do not get my money, simple. But I now only play at about 5 different casinos now. Videoslots, risk casino, leo vegas, energy casino, 3dice casino. Because all those actually are very fast only exception is Energy casino, they have very bad staff at weekends. Which they say they are aiming to increase to 24/7. But I like energy casino anyway cos of the vast selection of novamatic slots they have :)

Oh, i'm with many other casinos that pay out faster. I just got a good welcome back bonus from PS to try out their casino as i hadn't used their site in a while (I prefer face to face poker nowadays considering all the overlays and "bots" online poker seems to be plagued with nowadays, takes the fun away from methodical real poker). They have a multiplayer blackjack game which is pretty good, Played alongside up to 6 players on a software table who i could chat to. It's definitely in house, very well made piece of software. Managed to turn £10 into $600 USD (Yeah, they use USD) over a few hours. Literally curious as to if it was just due to my bonus or if everyone else is having to wait this long.

Just to update they processed the BACS payment 48 hours after clicking withdraw so it wasn't as bad as i had anticipated. I expect if i used neteller i would have had the funds within a few hours as there are less security checks.

Ahh ok I see, And i am also happy to hear it has been processed, 48 hours to me is a crime lol this day and age, they need to all be as fast as videoslots casino. In an ideal Dreaming world and all that hehehe :D

Be careful that they dont make you pay FX fees. That's a new trick in their book now.

Since PS was sold by the original owner, it's been less about the players, and more rake and ways to empty the customers' wallet faster.

Also their promotions at the casino side are terribad and not fun at all. Would pick a better place to play at.
