Planet 23 new Rival, WR beyond belief!

I have just withdrawn $1683 from here after depositing $50 and taking them on their offer of a 200% bonus. The wagering requirments for that bonus was quite steep at 43.oo deposit and bonus.

This is the automated email you get once you have completed the withdrawal.

Dear .... .......,

My name is Jenny Nolan and I'm your personal Casino host and direct contact at Planet23. It has come to my attention that you have requested to withdraw money from your account.

First, I would like to say that I am honored to have you as a member of our valuable players and to thank you for playing with us. Second, I am interested to know if you enjoyed your time with us and if you encountered any difficulties that might have led you to discontinue playing.

As a token of our appreciation for playing with us, we would like to offer you a match bonus to the amount of your withdrawal. This means that I will place $XX Free Bonus in your bonus account, if you choose to cancel it and continue playing with us.

I would love to hear from you and make sure any problem you had or may have is resolved without any delay. In any questions and for claiming your bonus, you are more than welcome to contact me directly at lisa@planet23.com.

Wishing you the best of luck!
Kind regards,
Jenny Nolan,

No I am not reversing thank you very much.

No I am not reversing thank you very much.

IMO this is predatory behaviour and is disgraceful.

Bryan - please consider Planet23 for the not recommended list.

The offer from Pure Vegas the RTG went one step further. If I decided to reverse my withdrawal I will get a bonus and I can claim it unlimited times (until I lose all of course).

Dear CasinoMeister Forum Members,

On behalf of Planet23, we appreciate your interest in playing at Planet23, sharing your ideas and constructive feedbacks with us.

Planet23 Casino decided to sail on a new journey with RIVAL software to offer more and better bonuses, promotions, currencies and languages to our players. Our main theme of fair business and VIP treatment for each player stayed the same, thus we would like to explain certain issues and to address the false accusations thrown at us in this thread.

First, we offer our players a great and fun experience that is designed to last as long as possible. This is the reason for offering one of the highest bonuses around. Second, as mentioned above in the thread, we must take security measures against fraud and high risk acts. This is exactly why the wagering may vary for different promotions and player's profile.

I must also mention that we are not here to throw our money out of the window, yet we would always be glad to receive your feedbacks and new ideas regarding how we can improve our great product and offer you the great and fun experience Planet23 is all about.

Please feel free to email me in person and I will be glad to assist in resolving any issue you may have and take care of it discretely and not over the forum.

Sincerely,

Jenny Nolan
Planet23 Casino Host

Fraud has NOTHING to do with WR, in fact a FRAUDSTER will play with ANY WR you have to offer, after all, they are comitting FRAUD, and work on the principle that it isn't THEIR money anyway (stolen cards etc), and that EVENTUALLY they might make something worth while.

It is the GENUINE player who will take one look at the list of promotions available, and think WTF, and uninstall. They probably have many other places to play, and how on EARTH would you know that you had just deterred a profitable player based on a poor first impression.

FACT - a group did this to ME back in 2004, Casino Rewards. They sent me a PERSONAL invite to join another "partner casino". I took it up, and won, I ONLY withdrew 50, leaving 400 in play, purely to test the withdrawal process (did they pay, how fast, any "hoops" etc). This was merely "due dilligence" on my part. They PUNISHED me by locking my rewards account, making all sorts of vague accusations against me, and became VERY rude, and would only say that if I deposited an unspecified amount they MIGHT unlock it.

Well, I DID deposit, OVER 1,000,000 worth, but NOT at Casino Rewards, but at another group, Casino Action, which became my main choice till they went bust. Casino rewards lost a HUGE "whale" in this respect, and all over $40 and rude CS. (Naturally, I didn't LOSE 1M, my withdrawals after winning sessions have reached a similar total - it's about ACTION, not losing everything, profit for a casino is the theoretical return per /$ wagered by a player.).

When Casino Rewards bought out Casino Action, first in dribs and drabs, they bought out my accounts, saw my stats, and realised what a HUGE mistake they had made, and IMMEDIATELY made me VIP.

Now, as a member of Casinomeister (or any forum for that matter), treating ONE player to a bad first impression means MANY OTHER players see the story, and they too may stay away from the casino BEFORE even bothering to install it and see what promos THEY can find.

Ideally, casinos should give JUST a free chip, with CLEAR restrictions, but decent chance to win a smallish amount. They should THEN as a matter of routine audit how the free chip was played, EVEN IF THEY LOST. This should give an idea of the player's style, and based upon this you can decide what further promotions to offer. Many players merely looking for free money will NOT be back, whatever they are offered (unless this is another free chip), whether they win or lose. FRAUDSTERS may well come back for DEPOSIT offers if they are using a stolen deposit method, in the hope of getting away with it. In this respect, the true fraudster behaves much like a player intending to be loyal.
The fraudster will hopefully be caught by security when documents are checked (this should be done when they first DEPOSIT, not on first withdrawal), the "bonus abuser" is caught by examining how they attempted to beat the free chip, win or lose. Pass these two checks, and you have a set of players rich in prospects for becoming loyal players, and you do NOT want to deter them from reaching this stage by seeing such IMPOSSIBLE offers in the cashier when they first register.

Other than a max cashout on the FIRST, and ONLY the first, free chip, there should be NOTHING to deter players when they sign up. Equally, there is NO NEED for WR on the first deposit, since this is PURELY for fraud prevention, as it gives you an incoming deposit from a source which you can then verify against the documents sent in. WR on the first deposit makes things VERY COMPLICATED, since the player CANNOT POSSIBLY WIN, so they mush therefore make bets where the ONLY outcome is, at best, the return of their money, and at worst, a loss of TWICE the deposit. To make WR on this verification deposit anywhere near fair, THE MAX CASHOUT RULE HAS TO BE DROPPED from any winnings from that point onwards. You then more or less have what MGS offer in their "play with 1500 for 60 minutes and win your bonus (max of as little as 100)", where you have to make a small deposit in order to transfer the winnings into the "normal" casino and play for real.

Having any .xxxx after a WR just looks STUPID, it's 444.78, so WHY the .78, what's wrong with INTEGERS, indeed why 444 and not a straight up 400x, it SCREAMS "a ROBOT did it, not a HUMAN" - and gives the impression the entire casino is run by robots.
No offence Vortran, but who wants to play at a casino run by robots:D

Some of these so called bonuses on offer are quite frankly awful.

As discussed in great detail many times before on this forum, a bonus without having any incentive to the player CANNOT be called a bonus.

The word "bonus" used by casinos is starting to become a joke, a genuine bonus offer must offer something to player.

By wrapping a bonus up in layer after layer of terms and conditions and sprinkling a maximum cashout on top of all those endless terms, is simply just disguising the so called bonus for what it really is. Which is a disincentive to deposit clause.

If casinos want to come on here and proudly defend their lousy bonuses, then thats their prerogative, as a player myself I know what my prerogative is and that is to avoid these kind of bonuses like the plague!

I have to say I'm not at all impressed with this casino's set up at all.
I went to check out their affy site to possibly promote them for what it's worth (i.e. probably worth nothing with those silly "bonus" offers), but was having trouble viewing the affy site.
I sent an e-mail to them and their reply was; "If you're using Internet Explorer you might not be able to access the site properly - please use a different browser..."
Well they can bog-off with that attitude - ie7 is good enough for all the other casinos I work with, I'm certainly not bending over backwards just because their IT people are too useless to make their site work with the most popular browser on the Earth.

I'm beginning to think Planet 23 is not just their name - it's where they're based! :p

So funny:lolup:

It's a bit like "Sorry, if you are using a PC our casino will not work properly, it's designed for a MAC"

It's STUPID (in the business sense). Whilst many say the MAC is better than the PC, only a small FRACTION of the intended player base would be using one, so it makes sense to write the software to make it as WIDELY accessible as possible, since more players = more profit.

IE may well be considered "crap" compared to other browsers, but it is the DEFAULT browser that comes with Windows, and EVERYBODY starts off having it, and then has to RESEARCH the merits of other browsers, and actively install another, and then LEARN how to use it.

I won the Spring Raffle too!!:D
I'm a bit tempted to re-install them just to see what my WR is, lol.
My guess is...600x D+B at least.

I too am a winner!

I got the same email.
What a lucky bunch we are, hmmm?

Why don't they realize this is the kind of BS that makes a player stay far away????

It is nothing short of misleading, disgusting and rogue-like advertising.

Bryan should consider this clipjoint for the pit ASAP.

i got the same email as well.....very misleading:mad:

We will not be promoting them anymore for the very reasons posted above, the players are the ones that are getting the short end of the stick here including the very misleading emails.

The casinos need to be listening more to the players, without a players continued custom , you the casinos can not afford to stay in business long..................laurie

This casino really sucks and something strange is going on there!

I've got this email from them:

"Dear *****

I have noticed that you didn't have any promotions in your account, I have now added a few of your favorites to your account and sent it to our tech team to see why it happened.
If there's any special bonus you would like to have please let me know and I will take care of it."

But you know what, nothing is still in my account!

Although that's not all, because their manager (Jenny Nolan) try to do everything to get in contact with me, because she added me as a friend on facebook so she must have searched there for me!

Is this normally on any casino, because i've never seen this before!?

I don't want, that all my about 300 friends know, that i play in these casinos, because that's my own private thing, so why did they search me on facebook for adding me in their personal friendslist?

For me that's ridiculous enough to never play there again!

you can block her...and no one of your friend will be able to read nor see her.
