Ontario operators? (Licensed)

One thing, this is going to be painful to sign up to some of these sites as the sign-up process usually is stressful and painful, lol. I better get the utility bill and copy of the license set up now so am ready, but who knows how many days it will take for all that to go through. I am dreading that part but otherwise excited to see what all comes for us.

Wonder if @L&L-Jan casinos thinking of getting an Ontario license? As it would be even better to play at a site that has a rep for any issues. :)
ya lets hope @L&L-Jan join for sure. Even tho their verification is a nightmare they are still a good company and would be even better with more provider options. Not sure how they do with Ontario with only few providers but with more of a library available I know lots of people who would play there more often

lmao, I already got tennis elbow last year, now something more to look forward to :p
Honestly, I but very rarely use auto play, but I sure as ef do not want to be....k...onnnne.....twoooooo...spin
Same, 2.5 seconds sounds bad. Will see. Also, I already have an account with betsafe so if they are one of the ones I might be good to go there, just wish you can get set up/registered beforehand on some of the others.

This one is kind of a joke beause what would stop someone from playing on 2 different casinos at the same time?

"The gaming system must not offer functionality which facilitates playing multiple slots games at the same time. This includes, but is not limited to, split screen or multi-screen functionality"

Even if the game supplier was to stop this using data sent by the operator you could still play from 2 different game suppliers with 2 different casinos anyways. It's also a joke because i've been to OLG's land based casinos and they never attempted to stop anyone from playing multiple slots that are side by side at the same time.

Honestly i have no interest in doing this but there are ways around if you really want to.

oh ffs! That's why split-screen multi-screen would not work at betsafe. So many games want to play especially if we get netent back so that would be helpful, but guess deposit may last longer but will have to come up and try to think of a plan on how to play, lol.

The Germans have it worse at 5 seconds if it helps ?
5 seconds between spins? WTF for? I can undertand maybe not having quickspin I suppose but making the spins even slower? So instead of losing you money in 20 minutes now you can make it last 1 hour? And be bored out your brain to get 50 spins on a slot? Seems pretty low iq programming

That's the whole point. slow down the process to the point where you don't want to play :)

I think we will pull fully from Canada. Now with Ontario being regulated we can offer basically no games, unless we get the license.

I’d rather play at my locals than put my money into online casinos. All these new options coming next week are great but my luck on them remains poor. Hopefully they’re better maintained than OLG. Ridiculous how many errors I get during a session.

You can still offer games to the rest of Canada and it costs nothing really to just leave it as is. You should work on the Ontario license way too big of a market with a lot of potential to miss out on.

I do like some Scientific games slots! Not all of them but interested to see what titles we will get, I am a sucker for Monopoly and Zeus type games. :)

Edit:

ALSO BEIR HAUS!!!
I like the first Zeus game as well as Beir Haus and some of the Quick Hit games. I also enjoy Wonder Woman Gold

I'm starting to get some confusing emails from affiliate programs about how advertisers are supposed to deal with Ontario facing casinos. From what I can tell, unless a casino holds a license from Ontario, it can't be made available for anyone in Canada. For instance, a Kahnawake licensed casino like Sports Interaction can't be advertised on a site that has any of these Ontario licensed casinos - even if this casino is taking players from Vancouver.

So in other words - we have to block all casinos from all Canadian traffic unless they have an Ontario license - but they only take folks from Ontario? :what:

The onus is not on us to figure out where people can play. The onus is on the casino to block unwanted or unregulated traffic.

Or actually on the player - read the freaking terms and conditions - if you can't play there - you can't sign up.

it has already begun. Logged into OLG made a deposit, went to my go to Wheel of Fortune megaways, and Auto play is simply GONE!
I was wondering how they were going to deal with the rules they had set that they did not follow on the OLG site. I hope that along with the 2.5 seconds rule go away sooner rather than later. I would say the 2.5 seconds is the worst but i guess i'll see when I try it. I know i'm not a fan of playing Ainsworth games as they seem to be pretty slow between spins...never timed them though to see if it's 2.5 seconds, less or more...just annoying

The advertising rules on Canadian tv at least is they can't advertise their bonus terms...not sure if that changes online or not.

I'm not sure how it affects advertising but a Casino that doesn't have an iGaming Ontario license cannot allow Ontario players but they can allow players from other provinces. If they allow Ontario players they chance never being able to get a license if they want one in the future.

As well if a group owns multiple Casinos all of them must follow this rule so if one breaks it then it jeopardises the entire group's chances at a liense in the future. Of course a Casino can decide not to block Ontario if they never want a license.

I would however assume that slot gaming companies that have a deal with iGaming Ontario likely will start blocking Ontario customers from playing their slot come April 4th which will affect Casino game selection for those that are not licensed.

As well this is based on where the client is...so someone from Quebec could play on Ontario licensed Casino as long as they are physically in Ontario when they wager. Someone that lives in Ontario could go out of Province and still deposit and withdraw but not wager.

Sorry wish i had the original articles for all of these but i'm just going from memory from what I have read over the last 1-2 months

one last thing...an Kahnawake licensed Casino is still valid in Ontario as far as I know but likely those casinos will never be able to convert to iGaming Ontario. As far as I know the Ontario government doesn't have the rights to step over Kahnawake's licenses but they could in theory sign a deal with various slots companies and be exclusive to them in Ontario so this might affect the amount of games available on Kahnawake based Casinos including sports interaction (who is a great casino)

Not sure if this helps @Casinomeister :

The accountability for meeting advertising standards is held by iGaming operators themselves. iGaming operators are responsible to ensure that any third parties they contract with, including entities commonly referred to as "marketing affiliates" advertising on the operator's behalf, also meet the standards

I know I am confused! You can only play if you are in Ontario for Ontario Licensed casinos, so like right now I am in Ontario, I can't play on B.C. Licensed casinos. It's not Canada Government, It's the provinces making the laws and rules.
