On my phone I get a little One Drive pop-up every day saying "On this day..."
As I backed up all my winning screenshots into the cloud, most days (like today) most of the reminders are of my old wins!

So I thought I would share my trip down memory lane with the forum. Many are of my old absolute favourites which are no longer with us - RIP

I will post again when something interesting comes up - but feel free to join in with YOUR shots from years gone past on the day's date.

I know it was retired due to licencing costs etc but why they never used this mechanic for another bespoke game is beyond me.

The only one i really miss is indeed, LOTR!
Loved those wilds, loved the animations, it was great...

MG should have enough spare money laying around to relicense/re-master it, or at least revisit that slot concept!

Also, iirc Nicola was involved with or one of the players who brought that issue with Frankenstein to light?! Still would love to know what exactly the bug or exploit was! One of the mysteries i'd love to see solved

Yep - memories are pretty much all I have now, since I've virtually stopped playing due to lower RTPs making it almost impossible to win

And on top of that, many of my favourite slots are either no longer available, or UK residents aren't allowed to play them anymore.
In the last few months, I've even found I can no longer play dozens of games, including Genie Jackpots Megaways!

Speaking of games I can't play, one popped up from September 28th, 3 years ago: Inspector was (and presumably still is for some countries) a great little fun game. This win was Bet x114

I remember many of these games. The great days of online gaming ) Unlike the crap we have today. I stopped playing now coming up to a year due to all the changes in the industry and the crap rtps. Good memories though from a time when you didnt feel like you were being ripped - no matter win or loose. I remember games like Harveys MG slot had some epic wins on that. These days I dont fancy 1 million x ways at 84% RTP ...

Yeah mate, I think they dropped Viper in March/April this year.
Pretty sure brianmon(?) started a thread on here about it at the time.
Tbh, I don't see myself playing MG slots at 32Red anymore....with a few exceptions.
I have tried the re-mastered Jurassic Park at Casino Rewards on a handful of occasions and I really like it.
I'm also going to get round to giving Santa's Wild Ride a try...eventually. And GOT.

But IR and Finer Reels? Nah, I think the HTML5 versions of those games are quite poor, which is a huge disappointment for me.
Playboy ain't much better, but at least I find that somewhat playable.
And don't get me started on the classic 9 liners. Even the Viper versions are unplayable (Viper 9-liners are now criminally slow).

I do have at least one account with CR - so I will have a look. Cheers again!

Don't take too long. CR do appear to be starting a slow, but steady "migration process" to browser only.
Captain Cooks migrated early September, Grand Hotel did the same last week.
I get the feeling they are going to migrate one casino at a time, rather than doing all 28 in one go.

They did, the first 'Girls with Guns' game is/was a clone of the original LOTR, not sure whether the game still exists now though.

Not as far as I know. Not sure how I could even check that, since I didn't even remember I had money in my account in the first place

Bad news on Genie Jackpots Megaways though - I can play it, but it spins as slow as an old dog. I haven't timed it, but it seems like on auto-play it does a spin every 10-12 seconds I can't put up with that for very long.

Although this win was not over x100, it brought back such very fond memories of the Grand Virtual software.
No longer with us, they had extremely fun, low variance slots which "span" in a very different way to traditional slots.
God how I miss their games
