It is a well-known fact that Donald Trump was ignorant of the Constitution of the USA when he took office back in 2016, and the years of his presidency have proved that over and over again.

His understanding of being POTUS is that he has unlimited powers, and can run the country anyway he wishes, by exercising his 'absolute power'.

Which certainly explains his attraction to Putin, Kim Jong-Un et al, who actually do precisely that.

His current crusade of "openly ordering direct, immediate government action against specific opponents, timed to serve his re-election campaign" is simply indefensible, so I too would like Trump supporters to explain why they still support him, when he exhibits such irrational behaviour.

I notice that the Hillary deleted Emails are about to be released prior to the election. Not that it is easy to find on MSM unless you type specifics as is usually the case.

I can tell you exactly why they are still riding the "Hillary" train four years later.

As we know, Mr T lost the popular vote by about 3 million. That is something he simply cannot accept, he has to be the winner at any and everything. So, that is eating at him just like Obama in other things, hence, he's trying to deligitimatize Hillary's win in the popular vote. It doesn't matter with what, just to taint that win.

They released unredacted notes/reports from the FBI with regards to Russia's interference in the election from which the very Russians can reverse-engineer to find the sources, thus a danger that those sources will lose their cover. It is simply hilarious to what length he and his sycophants will go, to get him his "win".

For the record, I believe Trump will be re-elected, as he appears to be winning over more and more voters with his denunciation of the lawlessness and looting that has accompanied BLM protests, as being sanctioned by Democrats.

He also appears to be gaining more and more supporters with his constant barrage, in the face of this lawlessness sweeping across the USA, that Democrats wish to totally defund the police, resulting in even more violence that will affect ordinary citizens.

Despite his many flaws, he really knows how to prey - and play - on people's fears, by skirting the truth and pushing out soundbites which are then swallowed - hook, line and sinker - by his acolytes.

The USA is caught between the devil and the deep blue sea with Trump and Biden.

In four short years, Trump has destroyed long-held alliances, alienated many of his overseas allies, and brought shame and ridicule to what was the previously respected USA.

Just such a shame the Democrats could not have fielded a different candidate to Biden, even though he appears to be a far more decent human being than Trump. He also has nearly 50 years of political background behind him, so it is a fair assumption to say he understands the constitution and its application, and will not try to ride roughshod over it the way the Trump administration has.

I have read that quite a few potential Democratic presidential candidates refused to be nominated, as they didn't want their name associated with the fall-out that would follow Trump's ramshackle presidency, so I guess Biden accepts he will effectively be a caretaker president (if elected of course), as well as being the fall-guy for the consequences and clean-up that will follow the election, if Trump loses.
