goatwack perished somewhere near page 2, this is his spirit who seized his account, albeit considerably less informative or impartial. Just to clarify

Do you like it better when Hannity or Ingraham interviews Trump and just lets him spout whatever he wants? Which then gets fact-checked by "liberal" sites like Snopes or god forbid CNN. Well, you know how it works.

I like the fact Wallace actually knows his shit and says it's not right what he's saying. That's how every political interview or debate should be, I don't care if the interviewed is left or right: when they're telling lies the journalist should intervene!

Can't shake the fact Trump is preparing his goodbyes. Commuting Stone's sentence, cancelled a rally in New Hampshire that could've been held easily, getting interviewed by Wallace. I'm probably missing some things.

I think Biden will announce his VP at or just before the D convention. Isn't that how it usually is? I could be wrong.

No I find the fawning interviews just as cringe inducing as the deliberate 'try to make you look bad' ones using loaded questions. I don't think I've ever watched a whole fox interview of trump since he became president, and I didn't watch any obama ones either, so I can't draw a comparison regarding fairness.

Trump is a bit of a J.R. ewing figure to my mind, that's how I see him, a hard nosed businessman not a social worker. His campaign message was bring back jobs, get out of pointless overseas wars, build the wall, improve the healthcare system and fight crime etc..that's going to appeal to people who have seen things get worse.

If he'd said 'I'm going to spend so much time on the NK issue' I doubt he would have won.

We're 4 months away and who knows what biden is running on other than 'I'm your ticket to depose trump'

When interviewing the president of your country I think it's warranted to ask the hard questions. Anyway, it's not like it even was a hard question.

Get rid of Trump seems to have a decent support base these days  The corona crisis isn't helping him, I think it's around 50/50 now but how these next months play out is going to seal the deal.

I must admit last week after looking at various forums and comments I thought that Trump was finished, but I dunno the mood seems to have changed again. It probably all comes down to Biden's cognitive powers, if he makes too many blunders in the debates I can see him failing to get the votes.

The democrats are also going to take a pro lock down view I would have thought, is everyone going to be onboard for this, nfl games cancelled or with no fans allowed, children not going to school etc...the covid crisis could help trump if he sets out his stall clearly [I nearly spelt that as 'stool' my spelling is becoming atrocious] and his approach appeals more than biden's.

I wouldn't say Trump's cognitive powers are much better than Biden's. They're both old men and when Trump goes off-script we know what happens: a word salad nobody understands. I know Biden has made stupid mistakes but I don't think it's a good idea to run your campaign based on that when there's hours of video out there of yourself making stupid mistakes.

The campaign should be about issues now and in the future. 4 years ago Trump ran on MAGA and the wall, has he done that? Sure, there's been some parts of a wall been built but not like he promised. And MAGA? I don't think so. Should the Americans give him another 4 years to do that? Can they believe him this time? If I was on the fence (see what I did there) and had voted Trump last time I would definitely have a serious look at Biden this time. I have a feeling alot of floaters will do what they did last time and go for what they think is the best of the worst and that might be Biden this time. I might be wrong.

The debates are certainly going to be interesting if only for the amount of mistakes both gentlemen will make.

I have that as a door mat.

Because I'm such a ray of sunshine.

This might be closer to the truth to be honest.

Usually there's another member here (we'll just call him ヤギ), who somehow is able to spot my typos before I've had a change to correct them. Like somekind of a wizard. It puzzles me deeply.

It seems that my illiteracy extends to pictures too these days. Oh well, can't win all the time :p At least it's a nice summer day.

He sounds like a right psychic wanker

I wonder whether there will be an audience for these presidential debates?

The conservative media is at this point just projecting by questioning Biden's health. Trying to distract from Trump's obvious mistakes and weird "things".

That being said: I can't see there being an audience for the debates unless they're going to be held outside. And rightfully so.

Still not an expert on the subject, despite watching one whole video about it.
Got sidetracked by this in the recommended section.

What's he doing? Draining a swamp??

Not exactly an expert on the subject.
How would mail-in voting rig the election?

Trump has said before that "other" countries are printing up ballots already to mail them in

Technically (elderly/weaker) people could be coerced into mailing in a ballot voting for the candidate they don't support.

And last but not least the great disappearing act where they simply "lose" ballots.

Still no expert on the subject, but isnt it only those registered to vote that receive and can send in ballots?
Or are you saying i can vote for Kanye?

Ask your government if they have printed some ballots yet. I'm sure it could be arranged either way.

I don't really know how the registration works either. As usual it's just scaremongering by the R's. They use the tactic every time, trying to scare people into voting for them because the other side is bad.

Sidenote: the whole Trump family voted by mail-in ballot in 2016.

Oh my God, we're live people!

So far I see a madman on stage rambling. It's a little cringe - but that's American Politics!

Mention of "Jesus loves you"

Some whooping

A baby crying in the background

You probably missed the part where he started crying. I don't exactly know why, it was something about abortion and his daddy.

For those who need an incentive to watch the Wallace-Trump interview, here's a small snippet:

It's totally worth the 40 minutes.

So you are telling me instead of watching this panda 126.31 times, its a better use of my time to watch the interview....
Im not convinced.

The whole Chris Wallace interview with Trump

all i got from that was basically, he wont graciously step down if he loses, he did more than any president ever (according to himself) and anything he doesnt like is fake news
