North Korea and US politics

As for "As in america the uk areas with the highest crime and poverty are run by liberals"..... Bravo! That is a truly Trumpian quote because it is a very narrow look at the situation with no regard to the developments over the last generations, the demographics etc etc. But yeah, please yourself with that thinking as much as you like, even if it's wrong.

FYI, the US states with the lowest education levels are all run by Republicans!

Shall we start a comparison race??? :D
Actually, if you look at the stats for England and Wales by county council area the top 10 in the crime league are Conservative run councils, so not sure how anyone can come to that conclusion. If you drill down to district council level you have 4 Conservative controlled, 3 Labour controlled, 1 Liberal controlled and 2 with no overall control.
But why let fact get in the way of perception?

Everything in your eyes that is wrong with the world appears to be the fault of The Left, even though you tried to qualify it - "for want of a better word". Every side, irrespective of political leanings, has a horse in this race.

Why is it 'tried' to qualify ? I could have said liberals, people who follow and are mainly interested in identity politics, so left is a shorthand generalisation to cover that.

Nearly everyone of your long posts in reply to me has little ad hominem attacks dotted through it and strawman elements, therefore for me to reply I'm either forced to spend time countering each of them [and writing a long post] or just let them sit there as if I don't dispute them.

What happened to Tony Timpa's white privilege, he was slowly killed by the police?

When will the point of 'enough is enough' occur with general out of control, violent citizen crime? That's what I want to know, perhaps once the citizen crime levels fall, the problems from bad cops may decline too. So an holistic approach to all crime, rather than cherry picking according to political positions. [or identity groups, like we have had with the grooming gangs, police and politicians failing to protect children because of the perpetrator's race]

And we've had a major bad stabbing incident overnight here [perhaps terror related] it just doesn't stop.

You didn't really comment on the main point of 4, how are you going to measure the point at which you have achieved the goal of equality, if you don't know fair enough. [when I say you, I mean labour or the democrats who want to make this their number 1 priority.]

edit: I wasn't just talking about black americans or america regarding point 1, the msm and politicians stoking anger etc..

I watched the section Fox uploaded to youtube, about the ramp and glass of water, he came across as sharp and refreshed, I wasn't expecting that level of performance. The audience did seem a bit quiet and subdued compared to the enthusiasm of previous rallies, but the lockdown and then riots has had an impact. I wouldn't say he's in trouble but I sense the voters are becoming a bit more sceptical on his delivery of policy and pronouncements, what MAGA actually means now and will he be able to get there.

Are you really naive or just easily conned?

Adderall is generally well-tolerated and effective in treating the symptoms of ADHD and narcolepsy. At therapeutic doses, Adderall causes emotional and cognitive effects such as euphoria, change in desire for sex, increased wakefulness, and improved cognitive control. At these doses, it induces physical effects such as a faster reaction time, fatigue resistance, and increased muscle strength.

I can hook you up with some methylphenidate.
They are pretty similar.
I eat it for ADD (attention deficit disorder) wich is pretty much the same as adhd, but without the fun hyper part. I just have trouble concentrating for longer periods of time.

I wonder if we all have varying degrees of that, but I suppose if you get it when you're young it needs treatment.

Some of the side effects seem worrying, priapism for a start but lucky it's rare

It seems trump may be on something to perk him up mentally.

I watched the whole thing last night and he came across as unhinged and off the hook. The story about the Westpoint incidents took about 15 minutes... 15 minutes about walking down a ramp and drinking a glass of water...

Other than that it was the same as his rallies from yesteryear, the same BS about every single subject he touches on at every single rally since he started campaigning for the Republican nomination in 2015 or something thereabouts. He just moves Biden, Clinton, leftists, communists, socialism, AOC,... around a bit and there you go: a rally. Even the crowd, a good part of them walked out after the 1st hour btw because that's what the paid attendants do, couldn't be arsed.

Honestly, I questioned my sanity afterwards about why I committed to watching.

Only for lack of bias I used the bbc (ironically)
This diversity is the gift that keeps giving...
RIP the victims and families torn apart by this act of peace.

Just to add.:
The BBC interviewed a guy whom stated he was a normal and genuine guy.
How many normal and genuine guys do we all know that mi5 have files on?..
More failings and families devastated, innocent families.
Just waiting for the word as to when riots and looting will start to this latest act of peace and diversity...

I once had a fake €20 bill in my purse, many years ago, as it turned out. I've been doing party drugs years ago, and booze, every weekend of the year. Does that make me a thug?

Also, in relation to your comments about "racism", the big deal in Floyd's and many, many other black men's cases is the systemic or institutionalised violence fuelled by racism.
You also act like this?..
And where was the racism in this murder? Pretty sure there wasn’t any.
If there was please enlighten me.
It was cold blooded murder, 110%... but as much as many many want it to be racism it wasn’t.
The man was low life, scum.. live by the sword and all.

If they had the same opportunities as white people, if they were treated by the police the same as white people...then yeah their lives would be better. So absolutely racism is part of the problem.
The majority of crimes are committed and proven statistically to be people of one culture.
It makes perfect sense to target those people more for stop and search for example.
When in London my capital this happened we have a worse rate for murder than New York... Stop and search was apparently racist lol.
Now look at the size of New York to London..
That political correctness nonsense won’t of helped the families of the latest black man stuck 3 times in the chest will it.

Well, actually, yes Playford, I did, but I was never beaten or worse by the police.

As to Floyd, he was (supposedly) paying with a counterfeit bill, does that sound like a violent crime? You can throw mud as much as you want, similar to alt-right police officers like Bob Kroll who has the audacity to defend the four officers involved in Floyd's death, including Chauvin, but it doesn't change a thing about the horrible murder committed by Chauvin.

If I didn't know any better, I'd think you are a racist -- but we all know you aren't, right?

He was murdered.

Plain and simple, but you failed to tell me or give me a example of how that murder of the scum bag was racially related.

Your also attempting to virtue signal yourself akin to a man whom held a pregnant lady to ransom with a armed weapon...

Really? There is no comparison.

And I’m racist again? My daughters godfather is black, or is that just a token friend?.

Would you all be happy on here to hear his thoughts on your nonsense? You lot have no idea what racism is as you have not experienced it.

But Jump straight on the bandwagon, it’s pathetic

How about asking a mod or Bryan to set up a interview with me and my friend, let him speak as a black man about what your so all enraged about, he would and id love the responses.

The offer is open

Try contributing and making friends here, no wonder your a laughing stock sunshine

Your statement clearly indicates that you think none of the violence committed by the police to (mostly) black young men (including Floyd) is racially related... whilst the opposite has been proven in courts, and cities have paid large settlements for previous wrongdoings by the police.
Reply to what I asked. Don’t attempt to sugar coat your accusation of me being a racist.
That’s a pretty strong thing to be saying..

after the death of George Floyd found that while black people make up 19 percent of the Minneapolis population and 9 percent of its police, they were on the receiving end of 58 percent of the city’s police use-of-force incidents.

published in May 2020 of 95 million traffic stops by 56 police agencies between 2011 and 2018 found that while black people were much more likely to be pulled over than whites, the disparity lessens at night when police are less able to distinguish the race of the driver. The study also found that blacks were more likely to be searched after a stop, though whites were more likely to be found with illicit drugs. The darker the sky, the less pronounced the disparity between white and black motorists. The study also found that in states that had legalized marijuana, the racial disparity narrowed but was still significant.

study published by the National Academy of Sciences based on police-shooting databases found that between 2013 and 2018, black men were about 2.5 times more likely than white men to be killed by police, and that black men have a 1-in-1,000 chance of dying at the hands of police. Black women were 1.4 more times likely to be killed than white women. Latino men were 1.3 to 1.4 times more likely to be killed than white men. Latino women were between 12 percent and 23 percent less likely to be killed than white women.

of 11,000 police stops over about four weeks in the District found that while black people make up 46 percent of the city’s population, they accounted for 70 percent of police stops, and 86 percent of stops that didn’t involve traffic enforcement.

in the Los Angeles Times found that during traffic stops, “24% of black drivers and passengers were searched, compared with 16% of Latinos and 5% of whites.” The same study also found that police were slightly more likely to find drugs, weapons or other contraband among whites.

You ignored it all, virtue signal away...
You have no idea as you have never been close to real racism.

Shows the real reasons and the character many folks on here have.
Anyhow enough.

Will you do a similar race based analysis of crimes committed? Latinos, blacks, whites; murder, rape, robbery etc...

Will you stop being in denial and blaming it all on the "libruls" if you see the analysis?

Most probably not, so a waste of time for anyone.

Harry you're driving a hard bargain here mate :p

I don't expect Mouche to do the analysis, getting bogged down in stats etc.. but there is a point I was trying to make that people are keen to look at one side of the equation.

I don't think the 'libruls' are helping the BAME community by only doing this, certainly not helping the wider society.

Well, then please post all those ethnicities who have gone through similar atrocities, you know, the centuries of colonization, slavery, discrimination etc as black people have.

We can then compare. Or maybe accept that looking at this "one side of the equation" is well warranted.

A one sided analysis is not well warranted, it's politically motivated to only look at part of the picture, all equal under the law is the best foundation for fairness, not let's turn a blind eye to this because of the perpetrator's religion or skin colour.

I wanted a crackdown on those scooter criminals in London, quite a few of them were white, needed to be rooted out but I could have taken the liberal approach and make excuses that they come from deprived areas.

.

One of them held a Stanley knife to a ten-month-old baby's throat and ordered the family to give them the code to open a safe while tying a 71-year-old grandmother to a chair.

He chillingly told them: "If you don't tell me [how to open the safe] I will cut his neck, I’ll kill your baby.”

they were stopped by police on their way back to London from burgling the family home in Cheswick Close, Coventry, at about 10.30am on June 18, 2018.

Judge Anthony Potter at Warwick Crown Court said: “Each of you knew one of you had a knife and that there was every prospect that that knife would be produced.

“When you found the safe you aggressively demanded the code from the two women. To reinforce the level of violence, one of you took a Stanley knife to the throat of a child.

“It takes very little reflection to realise just how traumatic that must have been.”

They will be out in a few years time, and the kind of criminal lowlifes the police have to deal with everyday.

And the public at large is expected by the liberal biased msm to get worked up about statues and if they don't agree they must be condemned as racist.

The Middle East, once at the forefront of slavery, is back in the spotlight again as now there are more cases emerging of contemporary slavery that are gradually catching up with the horrific events of the past. The many hot spots of the MENA region, Sudan, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Lebanon, Jordan and the UAE were pointed out as the countries that have the most number of slaves.

Those trafficked into the Middle East are often put into forced labor ; forced to work for long periods of time, sometimes up to 16 hours without pay. They are also often subjected to beatings, forced sexual relations and forced abortions. Most of these victims end up dead before ever gaining their freedom. The majority of trafficked victims knew their trafficker. They were a family member, a friend, a relative, or a neighbor.

Qatar for example now on the verge of hosting the 2022 World Cup is being accused of mistreatment of the workers employed to build the stadiums, or a form of slavery.

With over 150,000 slaves, Mauritania ranks first globally as the country with the largest slave
population.

In Sudan women and children are taken captive, then enslaved, branded, and bred. Women chosen as concubines (a woman who lives with a man but has lower status than his wife or wives.) are genitally mutilated

In analyzing the causes of slavery, it can be seen that it is often a by-product of poverty. Countries that lack education, economic freedoms and the rule of law, and which have poor societal structure can create an environment that fosters the acceptance of slavery. The majority of the trade is initialized in the developing world such as in Asia and Africa, where, the Middle East is merely another one of the drop-off points en route. Government corruption around the world allows slavery to settle into a norm. Countries within the Middle East and North Africa are infamous for being corrupt states with police bribes and even government officials themselves playing a big role. Even though it is illegal, millions have become vulnerable to slave holders and human traffickers looking to profit from the theft of people’s lives. This new slavery has two prime characteristics: slaves today are cheap and they are disposable.

----------

Is it easier to talk about something from 300 years ago than this, which is happening now, and surely only by following a tough law and order approach can it be cleaned it up.

from another linked page on that article with some interesting facts:

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

In the age of modernization and globalization—the ways of the future many would think—the ways of the past are still alive and active now with even broader definitions and even broader consequences.

These consequences are now the problem of society as a whole and is a reflection of how we have evolved as a people and what is being done to eradicate social problems. In an advancing world, activities that many would consider ancient and immoral seem to be making a rapid comeback with little or nothing being done. The slavery children read about in their history books is still here and it is our job as one society to eradicate the practice for good.

Because slavery is such a broad concept, it’s important to understand a little bit of the history and the facts behind it including where the slaves come from to how much they are bought and sold for. It is estimated that a slave in the American South in 1850 like Solomon Northup, would have cost the equivalent of $30,000 today. Nowadays slaves can be bought and sold for up to 90$. Because of this cheap and accessible labor force, millions of economically and socially vulnerable people are being used as slaves.

It is estimated that almost 27 million people today are bought and sold as slaves with 800,000 people being transported across borders every year.
The industry itself is worth $32 billion annually with all the profits going to the ‘slave owners’ or benefactors of the slave trade.

It is estimated that more than 250,000 children are currently being exploited as child soldiers in as many as 30 areas of conflict around the world. Many of the kidnapped girls who are made into child soldiers are also forced into sexual slavery. It is important to understand that when we say child, as according to UNICEF, is any individual under the age of 18.

The following statistics are from the UN GIFT (Global Initiative to Fight Human Trafficking):

  • 95% of victims experienced physical or sexual violence during trafficking (based on data from selected European countries)
  • 43% of victims are used for forced commercial sexual exploitation, of which 98% are women and girls
  • 32% of victims are used for forced economic exploitation, of which 56% are women and girls
  • Many trafficking victims have at least middle-level education
  • 52% of those recruiting victims are men, 42% are women and 6% are both men and women.
It is sad to think that a practice that occurred almost 200 years ago could still be happening until this very day under the noses of authorities and in plain sight with absolutely nothing being done. It seems that in the modern era, slavery is just another social problem that is being added to the list with not enough being done to eradicate it.

------------

Shouldn't this be of higher importance or concern rather than protesting about some old statues in the UK and US? Or does saying that make me racist

Is it easier to talk about something from 300 years ago than this, which is happening now, and surely only by following a tough law and order approach can it be cleaned it up.

Shouldn't this be of higher importance or concern rather than protesting about some old statues in the UK and US? Or does saying that make me racist

You are getting better at doing the LOOK THERE CON FROM THE DON!

Bravo!

Maybe US could bring civilization to these savages by sending a couple hundred B-52s.
And maybe you've misunderstood the protests. They are not about statues.
