Personally, I believe he has frontotemporal dementia. His mental deterioration in the last year has become extremely apparent. I won’t bore you with examples. A doctor friend of mine says he and his colleagues don’t dispute Trump has dementia, they just disagree about what stage he’s in.

A very good friend was diagnosed with FTD over a year ago. The change in her personality is very disturbing, considering she used to be a very intelligent, laid-back, easy going person with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. She is now in a care home, as her responses to internal/external stimuli of any type were simply not normal. She sees threats where there are none, and just seemed to stop understanding what is being said, in that she hears the words, but they don't register. So she is no longer able to comprehend why people react the way they do.

If you watch videos of Trump even as recently as five years ago, he was articulate and more than capable of producing reasoned arguments.

Now it is obvious he has an extremely limited vocabulary, is unable to discuss anything that is outside of his particular sphere of interest, and when the teleprompter is in use, he is simply reading a string of words, which means he isn't able to enter into any discussion as the actual meaning appears to elude him. He now just constantly talks at people, rather than to them.

If the USA had the Trump of 5 to 10 years ago, he would have been a very different President, and he might well have justified his MAGA election promises.

The limited vocabulary has become really obvious. Also the inappropriate reactions and behaviours in certain situations. Like sitting down during the American national anthem and looking confused. He rambles on about whatever enters his head regardless of what question has been asked or the environment he is in. The national prayer breakfast fiasco comes to mind.

And it isn't just a few one-offs, Trump's symptoms of dementia and his bizarre behaviour are visible everyday now. Anyone who is familiar with the signs of dementia no doubt sees it too.

I must admit I quite like Ron and Rand, what I didn't realise until a minute ago was that Ron has a doctor of medicine degree, and from his bio on wiki:

It will be a shame for you to leave this thread, you're clearly on a journey of discovery with the politics and research, the US society is on one too and donald Trump is at the helm, which means there are plenty of things to discuss.

I mentioned a few months ago that I didn't trust Barr, and that he was sent in there to steady the ship and get control of things, convince trump he was on his side and looking into the 2016/7 spygate saga, but so far no one has had their collar felt from the FBI etc...so probably just another elaborate cover up operation by Barr.

One of the most important high profile prisoners is allowed to 'hang' himself, with only sleeping guards and malfunctioning cameras in the high security wing, it's just a joke and all under Barr's leadership/control.

I'm waiting for John Durham's conclusions and report, they said he'd convened a grand jury but I've heard nothing since as to what he intends to do with these powers, is anyone going to face tough questioning and investigating. If Barr hand selected Durham then I don't hold out any hope the truth will be revealed.

The tribal mentality we are seeing is pointless, some agreement with a good middle ground would be lovely, sadly as people play policy’s Ans politics like a game it’ll be a long time until we see it mate. IMO
Sadly only Able to have a few beers this evening as have Isabelle tomorrow early, I may indulge further tomorrow evening.
