A man, who claimed to have invented the water powered car, died suddenly after eating at a restaurant and running outside screaming ‘they poisoned me’.

Mystery still surrounds the death of Stanley Meyer, who died back in 1998 on 20 March.

Despite an investigation, the police went with the Franklin County coroner report which ruled Meyer, who had high blood pressure, died of a cerebral aneurysm.

Yet many of Meyer’s supporters believe he was assassinated in a bid to suppress his inventions.

His brother Steve claimed Meyer died in the car park after a dinner meeting with Belgian investors and had refused ‘a lot of money for the patent to his invention’.

In a news report on an Ohio TV station, Meyer demonstrated a dune buggy he claimed was powered by his water fuel cell.

He estimated only 22 US gallons (83 liters) of water were required to travel from Los Angeles to New York  – he also claimed to have replaced the spark plugs with ‘injectors’, introducing a hydrogen/oxygen mixture into the engine cylinders.

-----
And when the original inventor Nikola tesla died all his scientific research was taken:

After Nikola Tesla was found dead in January 1943 in his hotel room in New York City, representatives of the U.S. government’s Office of Alien Property seized many documents relating to the brilliant and prolific 86-year-old inventor’s work.

[coincidentally donald trump's uncle John was involved later when he evaluated the files for the govt ]

I have heard about the water-powered car, but im not sure how much i believe in it.
Mostly because i think others would have been able to replicate it by now, if it were true.

Besides, with the way we are ruining water today, maybe a water-powered car wouldnt be such a good thing. :P

Just seen that diesel car engines can be converted to run on vegetable oil, if so why are we so worried about the petroleum oil running out

To me it looks a better idea than electric cars, but then again the electricity companies have more lobby clout than veg oil growers, their profits will rocket once petrol cars are banned.

If you want to power all cars on the planet with veggie oil, then you would probably need the surface of the planet and the moon put together to grow enough for the production. :D

Speaking of marijuana.
I noticed Time travel tigers is showing up under the "new" section at alot of sites now.
Pretty fun slot. Also pretty bad if i remember correct.
Must have been exclusive up until now i guess.

Was exclusive at GVC Holdings casinos such as Coral, Foxy Bingo, Gala Casino, Ladbrokes, and bwin. The game is entertaining as you have lots of things happening but max win is 750x bet only. And for that you need one of the bonus rounds with the x5 multiplier. Max win without is 150x bet!!!

Another exclusive is going global soon - The Royal Family, was part of the LeoVegas Originals. Clone of Vikings Go Berzerk.

I did read that in one of the articles as to a reason against the idea, but what if the engine efficiency could be increased?

Apparently algae oil was being looked at in Germany and elsewhere as an alternative to petroleum oil, hopefully technology and science can provide the solution to fossil fuels gradually running out and the standard of living maintained or even improved ideally.

I think something about Trump being elected as N. Korean president despite having autism
or something like that.

US Senate votes to curb Trump's war powers on Iran

"Mr Trump is expected to veto the bill once it reaches the White House"

Now why would he want to veto a bill passed by the republican senate who just kindly exonerated him, hope this gets raised in the election debate, what his intentions are vis-a-vis Iran, I noted the bbc ran a story ealier in the week about american troops [108 in number?] suffering traumatic brain injuries from the iranian missile attack on that airbase, even though I thought all personnel at risk were forewarned and moved prior to the attack

To me that signified the pentagon and obliging media setting out their stall early for further military engagement after 2020.

Anyone remember the impeachment hearings and how Trump was acquitted and how that was going to help him to win the re-election? :P

That crazy wannabe-dictator is just running around and hunting his opponents with the help of Justice department. Interesting idea of law and order they have in the US.

Have I missed something big in the news?? Trump's still set [odds on] to win the election isn't he?

They were playing clips of bloomberg on fox, I was kind of half listening, he didn't come across too bad. Quite confident, obviously intelligent but I'm just not sure he's offering anything that will get voters excited, it's more 'vote for me to get rid of trump'. When millions like Trump, really like him, even though it's possible to argue that they're being duped by donald in the long run, at the moment they're cheering him and wiling him to succeed. Bloomberg will never be able to achieve that reaction.

He has fired Lt. Col. Vindman, one of the witnesses in the impeachment inquiry, and his brother from their position last week.

Then there was the whole thing with the federal prosecutors on the Stone-case resigning from the case because the DOJ overruled them.

Not big enough?

Well erm no not to me :p

Vindman could hardly carry on working in the white house after all the impeachment business.

Stone's sentencing was looking like a vindictive joke, 9 years for telling investigators he had a backdoor link to wikileaks/assange when he didn't  the man is a well known eccentric character and political trickster.

I doubt the experienced investigators were taken in very much once they asked him for more details. He lied about something that wouldn't have been a crime anyway if true, so its madness to get jailed 9 years for that. I would have said a month in jail followed by 11 months community service, or 6 months jail and 6 months community at most, something of that order. [also the foreman of the jury was a democratic activist/candidate who had tweeted about roger stone's arrest, in a way that showed she was not impartial]

Think about it 9 years in a prison cell for words that never hurt anyone or did any damage, are the govt officials who omitted/lied in the fisa application going to see jail time - no they won't, so equality before the law and proportionality are very important here.

----------

General Flynn has also been treated harshly, basically stitched up, and now he has a got a very formidable but fair minded advocate on his side, sidney powell, I hope she is able to overturn the conviction or get it converted to community service.

wikipedia:

Bloomberg reporter Eli Lake wrote in an opinion piece on December 1, 2017, that two former Trump transition team officials provided information indicating that Jared Kushner was the senior member of the team described in Flynn's plea documents as having directed Flynn to contact officials from foreign governments, including Russia, asking them to delay or vote against a United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334 on the issue of Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories, contrary to the still-incumbent Obama administration's position of support for the resolution. This was also confirmed by other news outlets, who cited multiple sources.

In a sentencing memorandum released on December 4, 2018, the Mueller investigation stated Flynn "deserves credit for accepting responsibility in a timely fashion and substantially assisting the government" and should receive little or no jail time.

vanity fair article:

“FBI interviewers believed Flynn was cooperative and provided truthful answers” and don’t believe “he was intentionally misleading them,” CNN reports.

"Barr added that it was strange that the F.B.I. even asked Flynn about whether he discussed the sanctions with Kislyak if they already knew what the conversations entailed. [entrapment] “Based on everything we have heard about now, I don’t see any basis for it,” he continued. “I think it would look silly because . . . he wasn’t covering up a crime, there was nothing criminal going on. He had every right to discuss it.”

There are grey areas here, on the one hand you can't be seen to turn a blind eye to people lying to officials, but on the other hand these are strange, partisan cases. Not much crime if any related to the actual lies.

That's why I think community service is the most appropriate, if the lies had been intended to cover up a crime then that would warrant harsher sentencing, but they weren't.

Roger stone having contacts at wikileaks wouldn't in itself be a crime; Flynn discussing sanctions with the russian ambassador, on behalf or ordered to by the president, I can't see how that is a crime either.

Witness tampering and lying to congress are serious offenses tho.

was that roger?

if so the witness tampering was trying to get his friend to say that roger had a link to wikileaks, and it was the same witness/friend who had misled roger in the first place that he had access to wikileaks/assange.

The way you've written it, it does sound serious but it was more a comedy of errors involving two eccentrics. I think roger wanted to portray an image of still being relevant in today's political campaigns, a mover and a shaker... never in a million years would assange work with him.

Roger Stone yes. Instead of giving him 9 years in jail they should forbid him to be involved with politics in any way, shape or form. That's probably a way worse sentence for him but it's not as shocking for the general opinion ;)

The Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum twins weren't fired.

The juror lied under oath. If the prosecutors participate in Stone's sentencing, already armed with this information, they would be fired, likely prosecuted, & subsequently sentenced in a manner fitting the standard they are trying to set with Stone.

______________________

LtGen Flynn didn't lie during his interview, his 302s were altered by Lisa Page.
He lied about lying in his guilty plea because Mueller threatened to go after Mike Jr.

They obviously left some clips out...

Don't get me wrong I'm not that keen on him, he's obsessed about climate change and meddling in things, but how he replied to questions in interviews wasn't too bad. I can see people ditching biden for him as he doesn't stumble over his words, poor old Joe shouldn't have run, he'll be in a nursing home in a few years I expect.

Bloomberg did run as a republican mayor, so he's basically a paul ryan style rino, I quite like Rand Paul, ted cruz isn't too bad I can see him being a contender again, but I can't stand Rubio. I wouldn't trust him one inch.

Bringing up things he said in 2015 is cheating.
2015 was a bad year for everyone.

"Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?! I mean, she's a woman, and I'm not s'posedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?"

"I will build a great wall — and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me —and I'll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words. "

"
Our country is in serious trouble. We don't have victories anymore. We used to have victories, but we don't have them. When was the last time anybody saw us beating, let's say China in a trade deal?

I beat China all the time. All the time."

"There could be some man-made something. But, you know, if you look at China, they're doing nothing about it, other countries are doing nothing about it. It's a big planet. "

I think no matter what year we compare tho, Trump probably "wins" when it comes to amount of stupid things said.
;)

Hey bear, hope all is well and you got loads of honey.
as you may be aware I’m not exactly pro immigration nor am I a massive fan of Islam in Europe and all the joys it’s brings.
however I’ve looked into for years the effects it’s had on sweden, malmo especially.
not sure where in Sweden your from, but what’s your thoughts on it?
I follow a guy called ‘sanity for Sweden’ on YouTube, some of his facts and figures are scary, makes England look like we have no immigration issues at all.
Just be nice to hear from a actual swede whom’s opinion id respect.
Hope your well mate.

Speaking of stop&frisk, i just had the police do a search in my home.
Or i mean, they did not do it at my request, they just kind of turned up and let themselves in. :P
Looking for drugs they said.
Got real smug smiles on their faces when they opened up the cupboard where i keep my drugs (all prescribed)
Was fun to see the smug smiles return to their normal grumpy faces when i showed them my prescriptions.

They did not tell me why they performed the search, but im 99% sure its because they have caught my little brother with something.
He and his friends have always walked a thin line when it comes to drugs, but mostly the amount of drugs.
None of them do any of the "hard" stuff, but always keep to much around to be able to claim its all for self-use.

Anyway, made for an exciting evening atleast.
One of them were female and quite good looking.
And here i thought it was one of them "hot singles in my area" finally finding me. :(
Just wish they would call before coming next time, so i have time to shower.
How am i gonna be able to pick up any hot lady-cops if im not wearing pants and is way overdue for a shower.
One of the men even asked if i wanted to go put on pants.
"nah, im good"
"oh, ok"
haha

Coming to my house trying to make me wear pants, who do they think they are.

I live more or less on the other side of the country.

But i am of the opinion that they screwed it up from the beginning.
Instead of focusing on integration, they kind of just dumped all immigrants on one place, creating a society within our society.
Why learn swedish, etc when you never need to use it?

And since i know best about most things, the right thing to do would have been to "sprinkle" immigrants all over, and thereby more or less forcing them to integrate, learn the language etc.

I think the guy you are watching skews facts if he makes it sound like its total terror there tho.
In fact, it has actually calmed down a bit last couple years.

Now, 26 shootings is still waaay to much, but atleast its heading in the right direction.
And as with most shootings in any country, its 99% criminal vs criminal.
Randomly getting shot or blown up is not something i would worry about.
Or atleast, was not something i worried about last time i was there.

Im not anti-immigration, but it needs to be done in the right way, and with manageable numbers.
Creating mini-societies within a society will never be the way to make immigration work.
And that easily happens if to many is accepted into the country without a solid plan on how to "sprinkle" them out.
:P

You are really starting to disappoint me Kroffe.

I always thought you were a genuine nice harmless bear .

But over last few weeks i have found out you are a racist , drug dealer who flashes himself at hot looking lady police officers.

Just shows you can never tell what people or bears are really like.

Hey now, i was wearing boxers.
Is that what they are called? Boxer brifes, underwearthingys.

Besides, even if i wasnt, its not my fault if someone gets flashed when entering my home without warning me first.

Edit: Also, ive been cleared of all racist-related charges.

I tend to look at all sides mate, not just right leaning folk whom I want to agree with.
that said it always seems to be The one kind of immigration that causes issues wherever it is.
rape for example where i live and sexual assault has gone up massively over the years, and by a massive majority they are from the Muslim persuasion.
kind of like the grooming scandal we still have, this is purely a Muslim problem.
i agree dumping a load of backwards folk whom can’t speak your language following a certain ideology in one place causes massive issues, but we always seem to have the same common denominator in this..
before anyone starts the old silly argument ‘we caused it by bombing Muslim countries) yes I totally agree, I’d let the lot of them be.
but you can’t use that as a excuse for how they behave once they are in a new land.
they behave that way as in there culture certain behaviour is acceptable towards others.
I’m all for immigration, infact it’s necessary totally.
but we don’t seem to have massive Quaker rape gangs, suicidal Sikhs running amok in the capital beheading soldiers..or even those vicious savage monks grooming kids and white girls as in there culture it’s ok.
Your mini-society is correct, Bradford in the uk now is akin to Pakistan, that isn’t right.
the Islamic people are the only ones whom don’t integrate one bit, hence the massive backlash.
