noone wants to know at 3dice

I guess I don't get it either:confused:

Some people apparently get comped after losing a $100 deposit, yet I could lose $900 worth of deposits in one nite, and told, "sorry your account isn't considered unlucky" Why? Because I had a few decent hits but didn't manage a cashout:( I just don't see how tossing almost a grand into a casino in one nite and getting about 4 hours of play is considered "not an unlucky account"

I expect more comps at 3Dice because of the lack of deposit bonuses....and I suspect others feel the same way. In my opinion some players get comped more than others (The Crew/Mob?) simply because they sing the praises of 3Dice.

I think their "comping" is quite competitive. If you run reasonable you wont get comped as you wont get at any other casino either. And yes, usually you have to ask or "hint" them.

And they dont have max cashouts and they are cashable.

Hi Nate,

Experiences are valid not because they are positive or negative, they are valid because they are valid. One of the best ways to check that validity remains (I'm sorry) numbers. In your particular case, that's almost 150k spins at an RTP barely over 92%. That no doubt lands you the title of unlucky player. The reason for that RTP is that you've seen less than average of the big hits. A hit of 1.000x + betsize does not come by every 1.000 or even 10.000 spins, so although there's no heaps of those in 150k spins on average, more than what you've seen would be a realistic expectation.

Because of this I can totally relate to the way you feel. Alas, just as with most women, I've got little control over lady luck - I'll help you hope your luck swings the other way soon. A similar run with luck at the other side of the spectrum would have a significant impact on your stats, and more importantly on the way you feel.

a mediocre win is better than a good comp .. the support staff can only do so much - and it never feels quite the same as a good hit. Again Nate, I can relate to how you feel - and it most certainly is a valid experience to share. No matter what place you go there are always players at both ends of the spectrum. It is just as valid to share good and fast pay experiences as it is to share your experience when lady luck was not on your side.

Trying to run a fair and balanced comping system is not an easy task. That means at times a support rep has to deny a request simply to keep balance in an account. When a player is truly unlucky, they typically generate little play, so although little house-edge is accumulated through that it is still the point in time where a comp has the most value to the player. So our reps take that into account, and as a result can give more comps at points in time where we feel they are most appreciated. The other side of that coin means there is a difference in losing a certain amount after a win versus not after a win. Our comping policy will favor that later scenario, and I think it is the only sensible thing to do.

You've been in both scenarios, Nate, and I can understand that when it happens, the emotional response to both cases is similar, so I can relate to that it may seem strange that the response is so different. If however you repeat the scenario - a player loses x without first winning it 5 months in a row - versus a player loses x after first winning it 5 months in a row - makes it clear that the balancing we use has been thought through and really attempts to be fair for everyone.

Kindest regards,

Enzo

Hi Enzo,

I fully agree that stats speak for themselves. 150 000 spins (lets assume) with an average bet of $1 is about $150 000 in wagering. Bets placed for that amount are a fair reflection of play IMPO and those stats do as you pointed out land me in the category of 'Unlucky Player'.

I do agree that you attempt to make the comping system fair, however; if you consider my comps and deposits (Total Cash available for play) VS Withdrawals at 3dice, then i think it would paint a picture that is not very pretty. I have no reason to believe that I have not received sufficient comps in the past, but i do have reason to believe that my withdrawals at 3dice have been far from acceptable (to any gambler).

Whilst i can throw between $500 t0 $5000 in deposits in a month or even a day, it pains me to see that all that wagering with comps or cash have been in vain. I may be reptitive on this, but if Wins came easier at 3dice, THEN i doubt people would look towards the casino for comps to 'soften' the ever repeating blow it dishes out.

Im just saying - if a player deposits over $3000 in one or two days and they withdraw a small profit, the player makes a conscious decision to return to the same casino. Just because a player is up $200 in a 30day period, does not nullify his $2000 loss in ONE go or his double figure loss life to date. Historically, the Withdrawal Ratio should be a fair indicator. Is this player just DUMPING cash with no returns (even with comps) or has he had fair withdrawals?

I am just weary that I will not receive any perks based on past occurrences (Comps) although life to date i am insanely in the negative with good comps. I won't moan for a comp, but I DO rant about my luck (We all do:)) .... i play regularly online, almost everyday..MG, RTG, Rival... and would not rant or expect a comp before i deposit again if i had a fair withdrawal ratio... Who cares about comps if you have A FEW decent withdrawals?

Well like i said before, I speak my mind and I respect your decisions. But its not fair to lose another $3000 just to be on 'the Comping end' again... I could deposit that equivalent if i wanted to... but its the principle behind it!

Nate
