Hmmmm.....

It seems that Nedplay ALLOWS people to have multiple accounts and ALLOWS them to abuse and cheat the freeroll tournament.

First and second place are the SAME PERSON.

...or someone registered multiple accounts in violation of the T&C's and haven't been caught yet. Which seems more likely ;)

Just email Nedplay and let them know

I do realize that multiple accounts are not allowed.

I'm just appalled that, we the player, have to do the job the site's security department are PAID TO DO.

As I am in the top 10 for that particular tournament (the only reason I noticed) and first and second were won by the same cheater, I should be given 5th place prize instead of the 7th place that I got.

But its not always immediately obvious - that player may have only just registered the second account, maybe a different IP, email address, address etc. The software will only do so much recognition and that is down to Microgaming, not the casino. Email them, tell them, you might get pumped up the list :)

I have PM'd DutchRobin regarding this issue.

I would contact Nedplay directly, but we already know that their customer service/support department sucks.

They never respond when a live chat is requested, and their support ticketing system has always taken them at least 5 days to respond.

Maybe its someone from the Casino playing, that would explain that he wins really good money.
Dont beleive everything that is written in Casino terms and conditions, owners and reps do play at the casino, when the casino has a lot of money to pay, they play so they lower that percentage, so the players get even less...

Woot!!:eek::eek:
He comes in first AND second place in the Tombraider tourney, and now also first/second in the Avalon tourney?
Smells fishy. Or, smells like an entire fishmarket.

The fact that he has multiple aliases can be explained, but how the hell does he manage to WIN with all of them?!

Cant wait to hear what Nedplay has to say about this.

AND GUESS WHO'S LEADING TODAY'S THUNDERSTRUCK TOURNEY??!?!?:eek2:

This is FRAUD!!
Everyone who plays tourneys once in a while knows that this is just not possible.

Am I missing something here? Only the names you have circled are different?
First place is Jospatnp
Second place is Josasanp

Coincidence perhaps the names are similar? For all you know it could be 2 friends competing against eachother, maybe 2 brothers, who knows!

Other than that, it may just be as Simmo pointed out that a multiple alias has slipped through the net for now.

Simply put: criminals are stupid

Jospatnp
Josasanp

Changing a few letter in one's name is not enough for intelligent players to realize what is going on.

Try opening any poker site on the IPN network (Paradise, InterPoker, etc.) and check out the nightly freeroll tournament.

You will find that at least 20% of the field are cheaters.
Some of them with as many as eight accounts.

Yet, two years after bringing this to the attention of IPN security, they have done NOTHING about it.

One of the reasons that this particular network is simply untrustworthy.

Now it seems that MG casinos are falling prey to the same scam artists unless, as newguy68 eluded to, the scammers are working for the casino themselves, but I doubt it.

I almost guarantee that this jack&%$ is one of the players you will find at the IPN sites playing multiple accounts too. He already has multiple computers with multiple IP addresses set up already so why not try and cheat every site he can?

The jack&%$ has amassed 162.50 in ill gotten gains in the last two days alone, so he's rebuying his way to the top of the field.

...and Nedplay is STILL nowhere to be seen.

Considering all the threads complaining about Nedplay:

is there any wonder why CM made this decision:

Although they haven't made it all the way to the 'rogue pit' yet, they're surely on their way.

If he's a real player he's unlikely to see his money soon, if ever, given Nedplay's reluctance to play in a timely manner. What is more likely is the player is a house bot. It is very difficilt for a geniune player to have such a high win rate in mg slots tournies. Nedplay have all the hallmarks of a seriously rogue casino.

Well....now it's day three of this current 'cheating scandal' and another 50 put in the pocket of a cheater.

I FINALLY recieved a response from Nedplay, but it was a pathetic one as usual:

Perla, Dec 12 15:10 (CET):

Dear Roanan,

This case is being investigated by the control department. We will solve this problem. Thank you for the advice.

Regards,

Perla.

Being investigated? Yeah...sure....then why is this a$%hole still winning tournaments and defrauding the legitimate player?

...and now Nedplay has decided to make things worse by taking their support page COMPLETELY OFFLINE:

The webpage "support.nedplay.com" cannot be found
DNS error occurred. Server cannot be found. The link may be broken.

So DutchRobin is MIA and Nedplay support no longer exists.

DEFINITELY DESERVING OF ROGUE STATUS.

Check the entire list of players from the last tourney, I've picked these names only from the first 100

samsulnp
secbajnp
adykarnp
mijbarnp
alibosnp
edijamnp
fikdabnp
jojkornp
josasanp
gorhulnp
harkurnp
anabilnp
dusprinp
edikojnp
jansarnp
amisuknp
afaolonp
enebajnp
jospatnp

All 8 digits, all np as the last 2.
But ofcourse this all just a coincidence, nothing fishy...just a group of 'friends'
Yeah right...

Now I have seen all these names, then I quite agree with you, something defintely fishy going on here. The very fact that all these names end in NP is no coincidence. Unless the system randomly picks a name for guest players who don't assign themselves an ID.

Surely if the casino was cheating then why make it so blatantly obvious? These names are defintely randomly generated by a computer, for what reason I am sure we will eventually find out.

Mikenp

Seeing how Nedplay's only response to me has been of the bland, generic variety, I decided to reply to them and blatantly accuse them of cheating.

MAYBE we'll get a satisfactory response, but I doubt it.

Cheaters always lie, even after they get caught.

NOW I'M SERIOUSLY FU$%&#G PISSED! :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Most of us are aware that Hitman is one of the slowest games MG have to offer.

In the tournaments you start with 18000 coins and have 5:00 minutes to play them.

Using ALL of your coins is very difficult to do.

Keeping that in mind, and what has been posted in this thread previously I would like you to take a look at the following set of screenshots from today's tournament:

You have now found evidence that these different tournament players are linked. Now, not only are names similar, ending in the "np" which initially aroused your suspicions, but they ALL manage to use all their coins up. This points to them being at the very least a group of friends who "know their onions", colluding together to beat the tournaments. The evidence also points to faster than average gameplay, which would take a fast PC, perhaps the SAME fast PC;), for all of them. They may also have found a cheat. I recall mention of errors in these tournaments very occasionally resetting a player's time to the full amount, but letting them continue from where they left off. If these (this?) player has found a way to trigger this "bug" reliably, then they could guarantee being able to use their coins simply by using this time reset.
I have never seen it myself, but it has been the constant problems with these tournaments booting players off the system in mid game that lead to these VERY odd "bugs" revealing themselves. Once you have seen it, and understood it's advantages, you might wonder if it could be triggered deliberately, perhaps by closing the casino during tournament play in a certain manner (not a normal exit, but a "crash" exit).

I HAVE noticed that the clock sometimes "counts funny", where it will count down two seconds TOO QUICKLY during play, and then revert to normal speed. These are "stolen" fractions of seconds, that can add up over the length of a tournament, but would signify that there HAS to be a vulnerability somewhere, and it could be an advantage to get it to err in the opposite direction, to reset to the full starting time, stop counting, or count down too slowly.
One suggestion has been that the LOCAL PC clock runs the countdown during play, occasionally getting corrective instruction from the server. If you can convince the client application that the clock has not yet reached zero, can you still play more coins, even though the server has counted the full length of playing time.
