Nedplay ALLOWS Cheaters

I tend to agree with VWM.You've definately stumbled on something here Roanan, although its' not clear if it's player fraud or something more sinister. I suspect player fraud myself, but without better communicaton from Nedplay it's hard to say.

I think it's worth PABing this if you haven't already so Bryan or Max can take a look. They may get further with Nedplay. but the longer this goes on the more players are being cheated of their tournament entry/re-buy money.

Nice sleuthing by the way

...and not one of those names listed even vaguely resemble a real name, more like a code. (perhaps the code for each of the bots the casino is using?)

Seeing how Nedplay's only response to me has been of the bland, generic variety, I decided to reply to them and blatantly accuse them of cheating.

MAYBE we'll get a satisfactory response, but I doubt it.

Cheaters always lie, even after they get caught.

I do wish to retract my statements made in this thread implying that Nedplay themselves are responsible for this. I am quite sure they are not behind this, although it is possible that an employee may be.

Regardless there is definitely something wrong here and I am pleased that something is now being done.

What is not clear is whether these are "Nedplay exclusive" tournaments, or "network" tournaments. The Grand Slam saw MGS give up on the idea of one alias per person over the network, to make it one per person per CASINO, in line with the policy of allowing "rebuys" up to "infinity" in some events. This may well have been pressure from operators, wanting those of us who had been offered multiple seats to play in THEIR casino, instead of, or as well, as our preferred venue. This alias splitting allowed players to have as many aliases as they had accounts, and the fall out is that there are players with many aliases across the network, and quite legitimately. It becomes player fraud if these are Nedplay only tournaments, where the ONLY way for a single player to have more than one alias, is to have more than one Nedplay account, which is against the terms.

Something else has also emerged from this, where unlike unlimited rebuys, players who use multiple aliases can win several prizes in one tournament, such as first & second as illustrated, where with unlimited rebuys, only the highest score counts, and one prize only is awarded.

IF these are linked players, or the same player, this has to be +EV for them to "cheat" in this way, even where they have to buy in or pay for continues, since there are few truly "free" tournaments on the network.

A further thought, since the names end "np", perhaps meaning "Nedplay", this player (or group) need a way to track their aliases, so maybe whilst "xxxxxnp" is playing at Nedplay, they may well be doing this elsewhere, such as Royal Vegas, using aliases of the form "xxxxxrv" for example.

In the tournaments you start with 18000 coins and have 5:00 minutes to play them.

Holy sh$& I made an error.

It's 18,000 coins that you start with, not 12,000 like I had posted.

60 spins in 5:00 minutes?!?!?!?!

That's damn near impossible.

I could only dream of affording to buy a system capable of playing fast enough to achieve this.

I can barely use up my coins playing Avalon or Loaded and that's only 50 spins, and those games play much faster.

They are Nedplay exclusive. Only 221 players.

How many of these 221 players are merely this "cheat" with multiple/colluding aliases.

By having a fast PC, and consistently using his coins, he has made a MISTAKE. Whilst the similarity in alias name choices might be explained by coincidence, having this paired with an equal ability to use all the coins shows that in all probability this is a group of "connected players" (or a multiple account single player) who is creaming off much of the prize money. These are small prizes, but regular, and if the process is +EV, this could be a pretty good "earner", except for the rest of the field, who are fighting a battle skewed against them, and their SINGLE aliases, and mostly slow PCs.

Given this is Hitman, and not Loaded, a fast PC alone may NOT be the answer, as I can use all my coins on the Loaded Weekender, but have NOT had such success with the slow games of Hitman and Thunderstruck.

It's possible they have found a way to bypass the cheat MGS THEMSELVES introduced a couple of years ago, which was to significantly SLOW the games from their potential top playing speed on very fast and highly tuned PCs, with this, they WOULD be able to consistently use their coins on Hitman.

The cheat MGS put in is a limiter, a bit like the speed limiter on big lorries, that no matter how powerful the engine, the truck will not exceed 60Mph (or similar).
The MGS "limiter" is set for 3 seconds per spin max speed, no matter how fast the client PC and internet connection.

How do I know?

EXPERIMENTAL EVIDENCE:D

100% hard proof, trials from before, and after, on Tombraider - the abrupt change being VERY obvious, and ocurring during an "update" of monthly new games, and resulting in the almost total breakdown of the entire MGS tournament system that weekend, for which they apologised, but NEVER revealed what they had been up to.

With this in mind, let's take a look at this:-

This indicates 5 seconds per spin. This is entirely POSSIBLE, but requires some doing, and this does NOT include getting those 18 free spins, or that bonus feature, either of which will make it far harder to use all the coins.

Just ONE free spin round brings it down to 1 spin every 3.8 seconds, which borders on the impossible, even for a fast PC. 2 bonus rounds, and you should have coins left.

These players may be able to use all their coins SOME of the time, but certainly not EVERY SINGLE time, as they MUST have sessions with plenty of bonus rounds, as well as those with none, or just one.

On all the similar player names, they wouldnt all be members of a gambling forum would they,
only on some poker forums you get people signing up to a certain poker site with very similar names so when they run there own tourneys they can keep a track of who is playing, and it tells the players who is a member of the forum etc,

it happens quite a bit on the boss poker software, i noticed alot of very similar names and thinking it was the same player i reported it, when they investigated i was told they were all different members of the same poker forum

If you look closely at the names, other than the 'np' at the end, they're gibberish. Nothing vaguely resembles a real word or name:

Check the entire list of players from the last tourney, I've picked these names only from the first 100

samsulnp
secbajnp
adykarnp
mijbarnp
alibosnp
edijamnp
fikdabnp
jojkornp
josasanp
gorhulnp
harkurnp
anabilnp
dusprinp
edikojnp
jansarnp
amisuknp
afaolonp
enebajnp
jospatnp

All 8 digits, all np as the last 2.
But ofcourse this all just a coincidence, nothing fishy...just a group of 'friends'
Yeah right...

They dont have to make sense,
i just looked quickly on one of the boss poker sites at one of the finnished tourneys and there were about alot players with the name,
jtx675
jtx834
jtx964-etc

they also seems jibberish,
im not saying something isnt wrong just trying to put an explanation out there as to why so many names are similar,
i hope a rep does come here to explain things, it will be interesting to hear the answer,

Hi Ronan

The best advice at the moment for you, would be to suspend all activities with this operation until a satisfactory explanation can be given.

Whether it is mass collusion or something more sinister going on, it is clearly not in the interest of fair gaming (something casinos talk about a lot).

If Bryan is going to look into this for you, then see what he can glean from Nedplay, do they have a rep here and if so I am surprised they haven't noticed this thread by now, as it has now been hanging around the top of this forum for a while.

OK, maybe NOT Royal Vegas "for example", but 32Red:D

According to MaxD's post in another thread, there are some medical issues involved, so response from DutchRobin might take a few days, but I'm sure when he does, he'll have some more information for us from the back end.

I only have Nedplay and 32Red on my computer.

Would everyone watching this thread please immediately open any other MG casino you have that has exclusive tournaments and take a look?

Which MGs have exclusive tourneys? I had to format my computer and lost all casinos. So far I've re-installed 32red, All Jackpots, GoWild and Royal Joker.

I'm checking All Jackpots now, will update if any of my MGs have esclusive tourneys.

EDIT: Seems none of my MGs have exclusive tourneys. Couldn't check Royal Joker as I need my account number and live chat has been offline for a day now.

EDIT2: I also The Gaming Club, they have an exclusive DVd player tourney. Nothing fishy in the player list yet but it doesn't start for 1 day and 10 hours.

;)

this would be a good start:

All Jackpots Casino
Ladbrokes Casino
Lucky Nugget Casino
River Belle Casino
Royal Vegas Casino
Spin Palace Casino
Crazy Vegas Casino

I get emails regarding ones on Go Wild as well, but I deleted them a while ago.

It's a shame that multi-accounting is so problematic, especially on some of the poker networks.

This is a Boss/IPN Network-wide tournament and below is a small sample of the multiple accounts I can find.

The most shameful thing about this particular network is that they have been aware of this issue for more than TWO YEARS, yet have chosen to do NOTHING.

Sites on this network include: InterPoker (Intercasino), BetClick, Virgin, Paradise (SportingBet), and PokerHeaven.

According to the list here, Virgin and InterCasino/InterPoker are ACCREDITED CASINOS.

I've been checking the Jackpot Factory tourney Grand Treasure Quest, and found the following names so far (2400 people joined until now, browsing all the names may take a while)

Samsulaj (Samsulnp) aj = All Jackpots I suppose
Alibos (Alibosnp)
Gorhulj (Gorhuljnp)
enebaj (enebajnp)

To be honest, I don't know what to think anymore.
Treasure Quest tourney has just started, and I've only searched the first 1000 names so far.
I'm sure I'll find some more familiar names.

Thank you Anton for assisting me with this research. I have forwarded this revelation to Jackpot Factory support, as well as their casino rep.

As this is unfolding into a major conspiracy, we need all the help we can get in resolving this.

I am pleased to announce that 32Red is on board fully in this investigation:

Hi Roanan,

Thanks very much for bringing this to our attention and we will investigate the activity of these individuals at 32Red and we have also asked our software providers to do the same across the Multi Player network.

Ill keep you posted on developments and well done on the great piece of super sleuthing!

Kind regards
