If there's one thing I can't stand it's people who berate or pick on others for their lack of writing skills, English skills, etc. Obviously English is his second language you idiot. What's next? And Simmo, it's got nothing to do with him being a newbie. The guy is rude, classless and just plain ignorant. I don't really think it matters that he's posting on a forum. I would imagine that this is how he talks to people in real life as well. No fucking wonder that Sun Palace customer support was rude to him, if they indeed were. I'd lose a minimum wage job over this asshole anyday. The satisfaction would be worth it.

It's one thing when someone comes here and attacks the forum, or the rules, or the setup, or whatever. It's quite something else when he makes continued repeated personal attacks on its members. No, I don't have sense of ownership of this forum, it's not mine. Nor is it my job to police its members. But I do (or did) think of it as a community, my community....and these people are my friends, fellow community members, etc. And I'll stick up for them every goddamn time when some clueless idiot decides it would be fun to take some jabs at them. And I don't really care who likes it or doesn't.

Ban me, suspend me, do whatever. It's fine, no hard feelings. I'll still defend what you do here, because I believe in it.

This isn't about being a new member or a veteran. It's not even about the topic or content of the first post. It's about common courtesy and respect for your fellow forumite.

OP, you got praised for part of your first post by more than one member. However, when you realized they didn't approve of every word you wrote, you chose to go off on them. This has now escalated to the point where some of the same people who gave you kudos now resent you and that's a pity. But you wet your bed, now lie in it.

Side note; I'd really like to see threads like these locked as soon as they start to spiral out of control. Once it starts to go downhill, it won't change.

Now can we please put this thread to rest since it no longer serves any purpose besides as a place to fling poo on each other?! Thank you.

It's called "multi-quote". It's right next to "Quote", and very hard to miss. You click "multi-quote" for each of the posts that you want to respond to. On the last post you want to respond to, you won't press "multi-quote" - you'll press "quote". This will put all of the quoted posts in the box for you to respond to in one post.
