MR Vegas

The GDPR does not only apply to marketing, it applies to any data. The old privacy policy stated

3. SHARING OF DATA

Due to the nature of our service, in order to process your data as explained in section 2 of this Privacy Policy, we may need to share your personal data with a number of trusted third parties. These third parties include:

(i) Game providers – sometimes our game providers would require access to select data attributes (such as username and IP address, for instance), in order to provide us with the games you play on our website;

(ii) Payments providers and related service providers – similarly, we may share some of your personal data with the payment providers you use to make and receive payments on our website;

(iii) Marketing partners - where you give us your consent to send you marketing and promotions, we may share your contact details (such as email address or mailing address) with our marketing partners who take care of sending out all our marketing material to you;

(iv) Governmental or regulatory authorities - We may, if necessary or authorised by law, provide your personal data to law enforcement agencies, governmental or regulatory organisations, courts or other public authorities. We attempt to notify all our customers about legal demands for their personal data unless prohibited by law or court order or when the request is an emergency. We may dispute such demands when we believe that the requests are disproportionate, vague or lack proper authority, but we do not promise to challenge every demand;

(v) Client communication software – we use a third-party software to help us communicate with you. This software enables us to send you emails and chat with you on live chat whenever you have queries;

(vi) AML and fraud verification tools – we use third party software to conduct certain AML and fraud verification checks which are required to satisfy our legal obligations in this regard.

We always ensure that any third party having access to your personal data is bound to respect the security of your personal data, and to process it in a lawful manner at all times and in compliance with our Privacy Policy and strict codes of conduct. We do not allow any third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes. Processing by such third parties (also known as “Data Processors”) is solely carried out for specific purposes and in accordance with our instructions as Data Controller and on our behalf, and such third parties may only use your personal data to the extent to which we ourselves are entitled. Furthermore, in all cases, we strive to ensure that we do not share more data than is necessary to be shared for the service providers to carry out the processing activities in accordance with our instructions.

4. JOINT CONTROLLERS

In order to provide services offered by the different brands operating under the Videoslots and/or its group companies, we may share your personal data across the different brands and/or Videoslots group companies, included but not limited Mr Vegas Ltd, provided that the purposes for such processing are compatible with the initial purposes for when the data was originally collected. In cases where we share personal data with other brands, the companies act as Joint Controllers for the data processing and have entered into a data sharing agreement that establishes the commitments and responsibilities of each party.

That isn't allowing data sharing for marketing alone, it is allowing all data. In the original privacy policy they cannot even share it with another casino for SE reasons. Despite being on the same license, Videoslots and MrVegas are completely separate companies.

Regardless of the legalties, Videoslots confirmed they would NOT share any data for closed or excluded accounts.

Thanks for pointing that out Colin.

I was under the impression that casinos under the same licence, which Mr Vegas basically is, can share SE data.

First off sorry Harry missed the ymail.
My old VS acc is ymail.com.
I got the email in my gmail from mr vegas . Did not use ymail in years.
The screen shot was shows my gmail acc I did not change any thing in my mr vegas acc as it would not let me.
I did not open a mr vegas acc. So where did the mr vegas acc come from as it is a brand new casino.
As I said mr vegas sent me an email yesterday morning telling me my acc was open and to log in.
This all happened yesterday morning.

So who registered your GMAIL account?

Yes of course, as long as it's specified in the privacy policy, they can do that, which is obviously part of the reason Videoslots have changed it, which is the right thing to do.
What they can't do is move data to a new company (under same license or not, they are not the same company) without consent.
Remember when Trada moved to Aspire, you had a choice to allow the data to be moved over, or let them know in advance and if you didn't give consent, they couldn't move the data over.
Videoslots have not gave that option to anyone who hasn't logged in for any reason. They have just transferred the data regardless of consent, or that is how it seems from the amount of people saying they haven't accepted the new privacy policy.
Videoslots rep clearly stated this would not happen 2 days ago, so clearly they know they aren't allowed to do so.

yeah its quite funny that curacao casinos that rip off other casinos looks and/or play on names, get slaughtered over it, yet when Videoslots do it, it's fine.

What is ripped off from Mr Green or LeoVegas? The site layout - no, the concept - no, the name - no

You have Mr Bet, Mr Spin, Mr Play, Mr Q, Mr Win, Mr Mobi, Mr Favorit, Mr Mega, Mr James to name just a few online casinos starting with Mr.

Also SkyVegas, Dream Vegas, Vegas Paradise, Magical Vegas and about 100 more with Vegas in the name.

The hat looks abit like mrgreens hat

The lion resembles abit the Leo Vegas lion.

May just be a coincidene tho.

Well, as it transpires, VS has not transferred this OP's data to Mr Vegas as the account at VS was under a YMAIL address and he's registered at Mr Vegas with a GMAIL address.

Behave yourself, you know exactly what they have done.
No different to slot providers doing the same with a million 'book slots' etc, just think its ironic some casinos get slated for it and some don't.

Heres the reply from mr vegas Harry that sorts everything out I guess.

I tried to send you PM before.

Just to make things clear regarding the issue. The reason for this issues is there are two accounts that are reported as similar by the system. The system is auto blocking them all the time. None of the accounts are self-excluded. The team sorted it out for you at Mr Vegas so could login and withdraw your winnings.

You sure about that?

Looks like gmail to me?

If they didn't transfer his data, how could he play there without opening an account?

Please point out the similarities. :)

From what I understand, this below was an early logo but so far I have not seen it used. Only the text name.
