Moneybookers account locked

Neteller leaves Moneybooker for dead. Moneybokers are the worst for processing financial transactions I have ever seen. You can't withdraw your money. Only by bank transfer and I am still waiting after 7 days. Neteller is done and paid in 2 days, or instantly with the debit card.

I am lodging a complaint with the financial regulator about the slowness and unhelpful responses you get. You cant even contact them by email, you have to go to log into your account just to send an email. Does that tell you anything. Too many complaints

Maybe it depends on which country you live in, but on my latest bank withdrawal from Moneybookers I got paid within one day. (Norway) But I beleive that Moneybookers have a Norwegian bank account and carrys out the withdrawal in Norwegian currency. I am a Moneybookers VIP, but I don't think that affects withdrawal times, but I beleive it affects response time.

I prefer Moneybookers, but Neteller is pretty good aswell, but they charge something like 2% of withdrawals + they send the withdrawal in $ currency. That tips the scale for Moneybookers on my part.
 
Overall, I've been pretty happy with Moneybookers. I did have a verification request some time ago (see my earlier posts) but it was resolved relatively quickly, and I was pleased to see they work Saturdays.

Fees are very reasonable, and netteller is not an option for Canadians.

Anyone (especially anyone in Canada) have experience with cheques from them? I usually request a wire, but my bank charges $15 for an incoming wire.
 
after i found moneybookers plan to charge $2 a month for inactive accounts (WTH?) I tried to log in to end my account but forgot my password, so they asked me to upload photo ID, which I did, and then have never heard back from them.
 
UPDATE: After a week, this morning my account has been unlocked.

I want to give a big thanks to all 32Red team (especially Dale) who offered me their help in addressing this issue :thumbsup:. I'm completely sure the actual situation would be quite different without them.

MB has never informed me about the status of the issue, no responding emails (including when they unlocked my account). To other MB customers, please, be aware of them. I've been using MB during a year with no problems or need to contact them, until something like this happens. Then is when you realise the customer support offered, one of the worst I've ever seen.

My experience with 32 Red is excellent too. I withdrew a small sum (£200) to Moneybookers and it arrived within 4 hours! And they sponsor my football team (Swansea) as well. So if I lose to them I am happy anyway. I am glad they are top-rated on here.

I was born near Swansea and watched them when I was a lad. Now I live in London, and it's 1-0 to the Arsenal. I have split loyalties when they play, as they do now. I saw Swansea v Arsenal Feb 1968, around 30,000 at the ground - a record crowd.
