Don't listen to McGameboy, the Travelodge brekkies are great, help yourself all-you-can-eat a 2000 calorie cholesterol burst to start the day off and you won't feel hungry for about 12 hours afterwards (unless you are KK ). I start with 6 rashers of bacon, 4 sausages, mushrooms and a heap of scrambled egg, and get stared at by the neighbouring tables where the women/girls are acting posh and healthy with their 8 and-a-half bran flakes, squirt of orange juice and quarter of an apple. "Yeah, what you looking at you scrawny wench? Need to get out of that coffin and see some daylight that doesn't come from a mobile phone screen, you've got more veins showing than a large Stilton."
To get to ICE from central, hop on nearest tube and head for Bank where you need to get the Beckton/Stratford DLR train and change at West Ferry before disembarking at Excel. To be allowed into ICE you need to get on their website and download a barcode sheet to present on the day you go for your badge. And NO filming in ICE, it's against the rules...
Condolences for your loss Lost my mum about 6 months ago too (though felt like we lost her many years earlier thanks to dementia)Loved it last year but just had a personal tragedy with my mum passing away two days ago so cannot be there.Have a good time everyone and if you go on to a casino afterwards, keep Kasino King well away from the blackjack tables.

Not yet. It's not until tomorrow. Are we in the same bar section as last year?

OK Mr. D, maybe you've had the good fortune to stay in the ONLY Travelodge that actually DOES provide a good brekkie. I've stayed in several and not one of them has even been average, let alone great. Thankfully, I never paid for a single one of them (all paid for by the company I work for).
Maybe my standards are higher than yours because I was brought up on Ulster Fries, not Full Englishes
He had a dreadful time last year, unusually!Loved it last year but just had a personal tragedy with my mum passing away two days ago so cannot be there.Have a good time everyone and if you go on to a casino afterwards, keep Kasino King well away from the blackjack tables.
That Blackjack table was rigged I tell ya - RIGGED!!!He had a dreadful time last year, unusually!
looking forward to the sarcasm !Goddamit they're dropping like flies. Wish people had more consideration for the sacrifice I'm having to make to attend.
£8 travel and twenty minutes by train, not to mention the five minute walk
Condolences KK on your loss and it was dementia that also claimed my mum.She was in a care home for the last 16 months of her life and during that time i came to realise that dementia is one of,if not the, cruellest diseases of all.Condolences for your loss Lost my mum about 6 months ago too (though felt like we lost her many years earlier thanks to dementia)
But what do you mean about the Blackjack?
That's how I normally pay for my few days on London!
(Though not successful last year - it's true)

What is happening at 8pm, is everyone going their own separate ways or heading to a gambling establishment somewhere, or simply consuming more alcohol?
I am in a darts match over in Aldgate area which starts at 6.30pm until around 9pm, but wouldn't mind seeing if anything was going on afterwards.
