It depends on the currency the player was playing in who won it.
If its a GBP player, I believe its set back to 1 million

Unlike NetEnt progressives, which adjust the odds of winning the jackpot based on bet size and account currency, Mega Moolah adjusts the odds according to your bet size, but not for your account currency and to balance this out, it adjusts the jackpot size based on your account currency. If someone with account currency in euros won it, they won €7.6 million, if someone with account currency in pounds won it, they won £7.6 million, if some had USD as their account currency, they won $7.6 million.
Mega Moolah resets to 1 million only if it is won by someone playing in pounds.
My guess is that it was by someone whose account currency is Australian dollars.

In their Jackpot rules in Mega Moolah jackpot may trigger at any bet level even from starting bet of 25c in 25 lines to more. Trigger will be completely random. Normally will hit one every few hundreds spin even if you only win $9 starting lowest jackpot which is common.

Once upon a time, I triggered the jackpot weel with a 25c bet, but only won the small one.

I gave it a heavy punt yesterday, but only got the minis and a few minors.
On the plus side, I did convert a £1000 deposit into a £14,000 withdrawal, helped along by an nice £8000 Royal Flush.
I had a go at it last week as it breached the £7 million, and managed to get a monster 4-bird triggered free spin round on progressive ISIS that itself retriggered once, which yielded £5000+ for a total withdrawal of £7000 of a previous £1000 deposit.
In all, a good week, although it could have been £7 million better
I kept the £14,000, rather than lose it inflating the jackpot further for Mark to win today. The Major was only around £10K throughout, so both my sessions are the equivalent of having won the Major twice

I would set some cash aside and go to a land based casino (vegas) for some awesome nights..
But I could not trust myself not to go mental online one wasted night so I would self ban from all casinos I suspect..

Not a bad return on a $6.25 investment! The closest I've come to that sort of pay back was a £250 return on a £1 football accumulator... and that needed an Emerson Boyce goal in the last minute against Chelsea!
n.b. that probably made no sense to US-based members and members that don't like football... or even members under the age of 24!
