just went on bet fred to deposit, live chat told me 25 times playt hrew on bonus, but at the last second gave me a link to go confirm what they said, and noticed candians had to play threw 85 times!!! soi'm sure it's a great casino if you don't take a bonus. but i always want alittle xtra for my money so i can't play there now, that's a little too much for me.

wow, i like this casino. I took bonuses some time ago and was told x25 B+D. Perhaps its new.
BTW, is there a way to check play-thru on Playtech with out contacting their support?

Tote also accept Canadians but they are bonus banned. Must be something about you Canadians and Playtech - a bit strange really

More casinos single out Canadians for higher playthrough.

Go to bet365. It welcomes Canadians and has 20X or 30X standard WR.

IMO for a Playtech Betfred is second only to Bet365. What I find strange in the case highlighted here is the surprise element. If the playthrough is advertised at 25x then that is the playthrough. If you live in a country with a higher playthrough requirement then it should be made clear on the popup box that Betfred always uses when bonuses are credited.

For any slots player 85x playthrough on a deposit is pretty much a donation.
The chances of cashing out on this are close to zero.
Also Betfred advertises WR in the standard way. D+B. So was your offer 25x or a total of 50x (D+Bx25)

I was considering depositing to try out Playtech slots other that the few they offer through the poker skins, then I read their general term to see Canada labeled as a country of bonus abusers. :(

I opened live chat, told them what I thought of that particular term, and closed my account and deleted the software.

I tried out Betfred today and got the phantom bonus. WR was 50X D+B much to my surprise. I thought I would NEVER meet that, so just started playing wildly and ended up cashing out $950, I tried to do 1000 but then discovered the $50 bonus money was deducted. Oh well. But for next time I won't be accepting any bonuses from there.
