As the poster above says these new Netent seem to be designed to give you a decent run for your money but limit your chance of cashing out.
The casinos must love them but I feel it is a dishonest business model from netent,
Take a slot like Lost Island, Flowers Twin Spin, or almost any of the older NetEnt
If you grind them and go full tilt mode you would very often get at least one big win where you could stop
and cut your losses, not so with this bastard.

I've had the opposite experience with this one. Really good win in the first 50 spins (almost 400x from tigers in the base game), then basically dead and I must have given that 400x back and more. Had a miserable run where the butterflies were miles apart and ONLY gave 9x or 27x snakes 3OAK, for like ten in a row.

But now it's picked up again. Had a LOT of features the past few sessions, all 20x+, some 100x+ and one almost 400x. Lot of good base game hits too, in combinations which I hadn't seen before (and kind of cynically assumed weren't possible). About £950 profit overall, which is just under 500x at my usual wager.

So I really think this is just a slot with really wonky variance to compensate for the absolutely huge wins it can give. Most people here seem to have hit their good spell early, I've hit mine late. I don't think we're really a large enough sample size to draw any conclusions beyond that.

I'll keep playing it for a bit, because I enjoy the bonus. But it's a shame the base game is so dull. I find myself clicking through the spins, which I don't like to do.

I think it needs an extra feature - even if it's just an arbitrary way to give you wins it already would in the normal course of play (which I assume is how the butterflies work) - perhaps a butterfly symbol you could hit on reel 5 to retroactively put some butterflies on the reels. I feel the same way about a lot of NetENT games. They're almost great, but they just need an extra random feature or two to liven up the huge run of dead air you can get.
