Jackpot Factory's Inspirational Stories

Well, I have visited it Spear, lol. Glad to see that you too will be removing links to JF. I assume that's what you meant by work right? LOL.....

Yeah - should take me about a minute or two, my systems are set up such that I can remove any advertising from this site (or theoretically, all of my sites were there to be more than one) with the flick of a switch (oops! BAD word)

Fat lotta money I make off of you :) But thanks for your support, both of you!

I suggest a "sleaziest marketing strategy" category for the Casinomeister awards. This should be a very hotly contested competition, only 5 months of the year have passed and we have already had Golden Palace disrupting the Winter Olympics, 888.com blog spamming and Jackpot Factory pulling this stunt.

Ecogra should have suspended Jackpot Factory at the least, their e-mails of being aware of the situation and taking it very seriously are meaningless without some action to back it up. Unless something is done very soon, i.e., today, I nominate ecogra for "toothless watchdog" award.

I agree GrandMaster. That was my thought precisely, maybe a six-month suspension, with their behaviour in the interim reviewed after that time. I believe someone also suggested having to donate a sum of money to a gambling addiction program. I would fully support that as well, and I don't mean $500 either, something substantial.

To be honest, I have been very disappointed with ecogra since the whole 888 BlogSpamming issue, where no public action was taken by them against 888. However I am waiting to hear from Andrew in response to my email I sent earlier this afternoon.

It is too early to make a judgement call on ecogra until they have been given a chance to respond IMO.

Slow down... LOL...

I am sure eCOGRA is considering what action they have to take. However, all decisions of this sort surely need to be made by the board members, not just one individual - so this might take a little time - and it's only been two days (or 3).

However - no action would be a huge mistake, and in my opinion, a disservice to the industry. And naturally I would also recommend this be considered very urgently.

Agreed on that point as well Webzcas. I was referring to my thoughts on "possible" action that could be taken (in my post).

Andrew Beveridge has been aware of this issue at least since Tuesday 10 a.m. BST. Ecogra is not a big organisation where every decision has to go through multiple committees. Two days should be ample time to come up with a statement.

Depressed? Suicidal? No More Fear With the Casino

What the casino does for me

My sister and my girlfriend had both suffered from depression for many years. It was devastating to watch such a mood ruin lives like the depression did for these two important people in my life. But they both said the same thing; there was nothing to be done about it and they were just taking their lives day by day, one day at a time. But I still always maintained that there had to be a solution; something had to help them. The problem was, my sister was suffering so badly that she had even contemplated suicide. One day I discovered something that made me really happy (even though I was basically quite a happy individual); playing on the casino. When I was at the casino it was like I was transported to another world. There was nothing I could not do when at the casino. It did not matter how bad my day had been at work, or how pathetic I felt, the casino obliterated it all, making me feel like I could cope with anything.

I introduce the casino to my sister and girlfriend

It was then it occurred to me. Maybe the casino was the solution that could help my sister and my girlfriend. Maybe the casino could give them the lift they needed. So I told them about the casino. They both tried it and both found different games at the casino that really helped them. My sister loved to play black jack (she always got to 19, 20 or 21) and my girlfriend loved how the luck of keno worked. The casino was great for them both, and a potential solution for their depression.

Unfrigginreal!! They should be rogued, blacklisted, seal removed...whatever, just for that one alone. Actually using the term suicidal? This literally makes me sick to my stomach.

:puke:

This is definitely unreal... reminds me of those infomercials on TV where "X-drug helped me live again" "y-drug improved my sex life" and so on... the only difference being that the "ask your doctor" disclaimer is nowhere to be found...

My sentiments, exactly. I can imagine a few worse things a casino could do, but not many.

No need to ask a doctor. It's well known that playing slots will lower cholesterol:

Play slots and please your doctor

My doctor was always saying the same thing. Since I had private health insurance through my company, I had to be examined every few months to see if the policy would change. And each time it was the same. The doctor would say "you're in pretty good shape Mike, but you have to do something to lower your cholesterol." Each time I would try and change my diet, but to no avail. So I kept racking my brain to think of something.

My mate Daniel said that playing slots had, incredibly, lowered his cholesterol. He couldn't understand how the slots had had such an impact, but the results were there in black and white - slots were helping him. Since playing slots regularly, his cholesterol had slipped down to the exact right number. He suggested I play slots. So I did. And playing slots had the same impact on me. Boy, my doctor would be pleased, I was sure, when I next went back. He would be all for those slots!

Lower cholesterol thanks to slots

Well, slots worked for me like they worked for Daniel. When I went back for my examination, my doctor said, "my, my, my Mike, I don't have to tell you to lower your cholesterol today. What's been your secret?" he asked. "Oh, I've been playing slots," I answered nonchalantly. And I saw he was happy as a smile spread across his face.

Flash slots reduce cholesterol naturally:

Cholesterol is reduced naturally with flash slot machines

I had high cholesterol. Okay, who cares? So what's new? But it was irritating. It ran in my family and although I was told there was so much I could do about it, it seemed like whatever I tried to do, just did not work. Nothing helped at all. I was always going to conferences on lowering cholesterol and reading books about it. I told this to my doctor when I went for a check up. You know what you need Nick? he asked. I think you ve been trying too hard to reduce your cholesterol. You have to find a way to do this in a fun way. It sounded good but I was confused . How can I do that? I asked. One thing you can try is flash slot machines. A lot of my patients have found that flash slot machines really help them. It seems they do not even have to try to reduce their cholesterol when they play flash slot machines. It just happens naturally, he said.

I said I would try flash slot machines

I told the doctor I would try flash slot machines. It sounds good to me, I said. And it did. Why not? Why shouldn't I change my attitude and use flash slot machines to help reduce my cholesterol rather than eating broccoli and spinach? So I did and it worked. My cholesterol is now a perfect level.
And playing at online casinos can help prevent a nervous breakdown - just ask Dr. Fish:

The best online casinos really help Dr Fish

Dr. Fish was a fantastic doctor. The one problem with being a fantastic doctor was that you were invariably also a very popular doctor. This was difficult because everyone wanted to see you and take a piece of you away...at least that was how Dr. Fish felt, before discovering the best online casinos. He actually felt like he was headed for a nervous breakdown. He wanted to help everyone but as a result, he was constantly stressed. One night at home, he was playing around on the Internet, when he came across the best online casinos. He thought he would check out these best online casinos. He did and he ended up spending the whole evening (into the early hours of the morning) playing the best online casinos. Rather than go to work exhausted from the time he had spent on the best online casinos, he went to work refreshed.

Dr Fish knows it's the best online casinos that have helped him

These days people compliment Dr. Fish on his work and his coping abilities the whole time. He's very honest with them. "I got help he said," and they expect him to tell them about some therapy he was doing. "I got help from the best online casinos," he adds and he proceeds to tell them all about the wonder of the best online casinos.

Hey Spear, do you know where I can get me some of that "x" and "y" drug? LOL...not to make light, just needed a moment of comic relief or I'm gonna scream. Still seeing red over that suicidal testimonial. Christ Almighty, what were these people thinking?

SlotsJunkie, you are my own private little search engine, lol. If you find more, keep posting them. Everytime you post them, I am forwarding them to ECogra.

This is the kind of crap that rogue affiliates put up on thousands of pages for the search engines, so they can rank high. Thus when clicked on by a surfer, redirects to a rogue-ish casino without displaying the spammy garbage. Marketing of this type, soils the entire industry and fuels the anti gambling movement.

For a supposedly respectable casino to have this material on their actual website is indefensible and disgusting.

I expect no less than eCOGRA to remove all seals awarded to the Jackpot Factory Group and I am eagerly waiting for them to publically issue a statement.

Failure for eCOGRA to take firm action on this against Jackpot Factory, will be sending out the wrong message and in my eyes at least will mean they lose all credibility.

That's a damned good idea to give the directors some real experience of the extent and undesireability of this rubbish, Pina.

Thanks Jetset. Andrew did reply and asked that I forward any more that were found, and that were still active. So I am also just complying with his request. I am also echoing Webzcas's statement above yours in every email I send to him, it can't be stressed enough that this can NEVER happen again, and an example for the industry needs to be set.

How Pathetic! To even suggest that online gambling at THEIR casino would help depression or suicidal thoughts is insane! And what about people that commit suicide due to a gambling addiction? And whats worse is if someone that was suicidal because of gambing online...and if they tried to search for help that would just bring them back to a casino? I for sure will not be giving this company anymore of my money. Its just sad really it even had to go this route...

Excellent post Webzcas. I think you've echoed the sentiments of almost everyone here who has posted and probably some who haven't. Let's hope they listen.

The Online Casino Remedy

Trying an Online Casino

All Tina wants is some time to herself. She has just broken off her engagement to her fiance and feels that she needs a good long healing period. At first Tina's friends do not believe that she will "survive" hanging out in her home alone. They believe that she will surely come and hang out within a week. But Tina has other plans. Tina decided that she is going to play at an online casino to wash away her sorrows. She has never been to an online casino before but has heard that they are quite fun. After a quick search, Tina finds an online casino that looks suitable and she begins to play. She is shocked at how much an online casino has to offer. Why had she not done this beforehand?

Loving the Online Casino

Tina plays at the online casino for two weeks straight. She is enjoying herself so much that she has completely forgotten about her broken heart and miserable feelings. Her friends begin to call and are surprised to hear Tina in such good spirits. She explains to them that she has found the answer to washing away her sorrows, the online casino! Tina's friends decide that they too want to get in on the fun of the online casino. They find an online casino that they agreed to be best and all took turns together enjoying the thrills of the online casino.

Thanks SlotsJunkie. Andrew is just gonna be loving me I'm sure.

Insane Goes Sane With Online Casinos

Get rich mad with online casinos

I had been having such a hard time of it all recently. I felt like I was going mad. Actually, to be honest, according to my psychiatrist, I was going mad. He hadn't classified me as insane, but since I was hearing voices, he was now trying out various different drugs on me to see if he could bring me back to sanity. Unfortunately - so far - nothing was working. Depressed, I logged on to online casinos. I figured if I was going to be mad, I may as well be wealthy mad and I had a good chance of making some nice money on the online casinos so I figured I should go ahead...at least whilst they were trying to determine which awful medication I was going to have to try next. The online casinos were going to be good for me, of that I was sure. Well, I was right. I did make a lot of money from the online casinos. But something else (far more interesting in the opinion of my psychiatrist) happened too...

Medication not needed thanks to online casinos

I went back to the psychiatrist, expecting to be put on some awful drugs (even though I'd actually not heard voices since I had started gambling on the online casinos). "I think you've gone sane again," he said. "What is it you've been doing?" he asked. "Playing the online casinos," I said. Shocked as he was, there was no doubt about it - the online casinos had made me sane!

It's like someone sat down and thought "what is the absolutely worst thing we could possibly say to ensure our reputation is forever tarnished and we are cast aside in disgust by the online gambling community?"

Wow. If it wasn;t so serious this would be the funniest thread i have read in a long time. Whoever writes them sure is talented- i just wish they put their talents to better use.

Big thumbs up to CM and other affiliates for taking such swift and decisive action. Hopefully Ecogra will do the same but I can't help but think thats as likely as slots lowering cholesterol.

Of course Jackpot Factory have apologised etc for it- they could hardly have tried to justify it. I would like to hear them justify making up player testimonials of any kind though as their rep here doesn't seem to have a problem with that.
