OK so here is my story, I feel like I wont see these funds right now after reading stories here and having this casino tossing me around.

1. The more I played the higher my requirements became for comp points, new account was 100comps per $1 and after several deposits and loads of plays it got bummed up to 500comps per $1 due to management decision per support excuse.

2. I made deposit via neteller, in fact all my deposits.. then I nearly won back all my initial losses due to previous deposits and requested a withdrawal in 3 parts to my neteller. After 5days of pending it went through to processed and I get an email stating they send the funds via BANKDRAFT.

This made me furious, I contacted support and they said they have the right per their terms to withdraw my funds with any method that they decide.. Firstly: It cost me alot to convert the bankdraft in South Africa, secondly: it takes forever to get here, will probably take 30-40days, thirdly: Why cant they just withdraw to my neteller account that I deposited with, thats what I requested? Its faster, cheaper and all around more pleasant for everyone.. this bankdraft doesnt make sense.

All I suspect atm is that they "make the withdrawal via bankdraft" in hopes I forget about it eventually and that they actually never make the payout? I had such an issue with casino del rio long ago and cant believe this might just happen again to me.

If there is any carnival casino reps in this forum, pm me or get in contact with me, this whole situation made me want to vommit from start to finish.

I really hope I get some clarification via this forum because support wont help me out, wont give me a reason why management try and f**k me over and simply arent in any SUPPORTIVE position towards me.

This is even odder, since you seem to have been LOSING for some while, during which they jerked you around with the comp points. You then won back nearly all your deposits, and they jerk you around over the withdrawal.
(One possible explanation - you were using a bot, or they thought this, but as you were still losing anyway...............)

IF they believed you to be fraudulent, or a "bonus abuser", they would have simply not paid, but maybe they were quite happy for you to continue since you were so bad at this "fraud" that you kept losing. When you start on a winning streak, they pay the withdrawal by the method most likely to make you NEVER want to play there again. They want rid of you, and are even prepared to waiver the usual "FATF Regulations for the prevention of money laundering" that are usually quoted in order to INSIST that players receive all payouts back to their purchase method. I have long believed this FATF was complete bollox, to be trotted out where it suited the casino, but discarded where it did not. MANY of these tales seem to involve Neteller, a few involve Moneybookers. Both are SUPPOSED to be regulated here in the UK and IOM, yet some casinos seem to treat these funding establishments as though they were some dodgy and unregulated outfits, there merely for the convenience of fraudsters. I have already spoken to Neteller about this problem that exists with their merchants, and it seems Neteller don't give a rat's ass about it.
Oddly enough, it is Credit Cards casinos should be more afraid of when it comes to fraud, yet so many seem to be haters of the Neteller player, and lovers of credit card players (see extreme example in thread about Windows casino - bad bonus terms). With Credit Cards, you would have been able to complain to the card company about any "jerking around" you received by the casino, and this is not something casinos want to see. (although, you would most certainly have been paid by bank draft had you used a credit card).

Alarm belle should have rung as soon as "management" changed the comp conversion to a WORSE ratio for MORE play, as this is the complete opposite of what is meant to happen, and means they are preparing to screw you over.

In all likelihood, had you won more than the sum of your deposits, you would have received the usual voiding of winnings based on "bonus abuse" or "fraud". The fact that the casino acted differently simply because you withdrew while still down overall indicates that it is probably rogue, as a reputable casino should apply the rules equally to your actions, whether you win or lose.

This casino does not appear in the rogue pit, but there have been similar complaints before about this kind of thing, and no proper explanation, and a while back it seemed the entire estate of Playtech casinos lost the ability to pay back even DEPOSITS to Neteller, and it seemed one reason offered was that Neteller needed some kind of "verification" before the Playtechs could be extended the ability to make payments back to Neteller accounts, with it being slow response at Playtech HQ being the hold up. I would therefore be seriously concerned that a casino could not pay back to Neteller after having received all deposits via that method, as this would point to some kind of smudge on their probity as far as Neteller was concerned.
Neteller do indeed seem to be taking this too far, as many players have had their Neteller accounts "verified" over again, and I was even asked to explain the nature of my Neteller transactions, as though there was some other kind of regular merchant - player business conducted through them that was unrelated to online gambling. If indeed it is just a case of Neteller being awkward about allowing Carnaval to pay back by the method, then CS and management have made a complete Dog's Breakfast of the way they have communicated this.

You should look to using an alternative method to Neteller, preferrably one that can receive payouts, and check with the casino before hand that they can pay back this way, alternatively, try to find a casino that will offer you an account in your native currency (if you are using the Rand, some MGS casinos will offer this), as this should minimise or even eliminate the charges from receiving payment via bank draft.

As for this lot, make a note of when they claim the draft was sent, and remind them just after 30 days if it has not turned up. Since they claim to have already begun the process, they will have quite a problem if after 30 days they try a completely different tack, such as claiming fraud or "bonus abuse" after all.

Hi

Thanks for your reply.

Regarding bonus abuse, I never claimed a bonus nor did I put in many hours a day, every play is consistent to an average player at a casino.

I will now just wait 30-40days and hopefully get my money out of this via bankdraft, wont be doing business with these people again.

Im using Dollar, deposited from neteller dollar which was no issue and withdrew to neteller dollar however carnaval management(whoever that is) decided that I can only get withdrawals via BANKDRAFT.

Well, this is rogue behaviour in my book. They have not actually breached any rules, and have not refused to pay you, BUT they have done their level best to make your experience as unpleasant as they possibly can without actually giving you anything that you can complain about in the conventional sense.

They cannot claim ignorance of the fact that Neteller is by far the "fairest" way to pay back (since you deposited this way), and further, the usual FATF rules would require Neteller to at least be the recipient of the return of the amounts deposited this way. What THERY have done is allow money to be moved from Neteller to a bankdraft. This is basically the kind of weakness that can be exploited by money landerers, who do indeed see online casinos as presenting such an opportunity.
Perhaps if you had asked for a bank draft, they would have paid you via Neteller.

The decision by management to cut your comp points rate is the one thing that indicates you were about to get "jerked around". They clearly had concerns, yet were happy for you to continue playing. I am sure things would have been different had you won overall, and most likely they would have simply returned all your deposits, voided your winnings, and locked your account.

They have now made it pretty clear that you are "special", and in a very negative way. Since you took no bonuses, the only thing I can think of that might prompt them to reduce your comps is that they "detected a bot", and considered that the RTP of the game + your comps at the standard rate represented a player advantage. It is normally the case that a player that puts in alot of action has their comp rate ENHANCED, and that they are granted further VIP priviliges.

This casino is part of a group, and they will have your details logged, and passed to other casinos in the group, and you will have the same comp reduction and bankdraft payments here also, that is if they even let you register.

yes not sure how this will pan out but I am patiently awaiting the bankdrafts.

I played about 6hours in total during 7day timespan, nothing out of the ordinary simply signed up their for the extra bonuses offered via casinosweep.com where they pay you $x for points based on wagering.

I wont touch these guys again and probably wont even bother with playtech again.

I believe carnaval casino managements is on some strong drugs.

My 3rd and final withdrawal was processed to neteller without any issues? What the hell?

I made 3 withdrawals , 2 on the 8th of January and then the 3rd on the 11th of january thats why the 3rd one only got processed now.

Looks to me like this is basically a complaint, no?

Off to the Complaints section with it then!

And I suggest you read the Complaints Section thread as it seems to relate directly to your status and out-of-forum posting habits.

If you want to take this further please see the Pitch-A-Bitch FAQ.
