Here ya go Nash... :machinegu

Interesting read over at AGD btw.....thanks for the link. I especially enjoyed the part where the info on HOW bonus "abusers" are weeded out by Rival....was offered to any affiliates willing to meet face to face, or talk on the phone ie. what goes on behind the scenes. Too bad the players (who actually pay the salaries), aren't offered the same courtesy, and privy to that info. Nope, just bonus ban em with zero explanation.

And the explanation of why progressive wins can't be paid out in one lump sum? Cause funds have to be gathered from all over the place/different processors. Oh, and other softwares have had casinos go belly up because of big jackpot wins. Ummm, not if the progressive funds are kept aside and separate as they are supposed to be. Not used as operating capital.

Again, thanks for the link. Yeah, online gaming needs another Rival casino.

I did try my best in that conversation... Seems as I was kinda on my own in that one though.

Rob, I didn't want to mention names...but I thought you were awesome in that thread. I thought you were diplomatic, and you asked all the right questions. To be brutally honest, I didn't expect it from you, given the fact of how heavily you promote Rival yourself. But really....I didn't think you were out of line, nor did you show any disrespect to anyone. I still don't get what's wrong with asking questions...and why it was thrown back at you with such an attitude. It was eye opening to say the least. Thanks for trying...because we don't seem to get too many answers over here at CM ie. The Devil's Playground.

I could disect it but the most important significance imo (and sense of vindication) is the affiliate community even if just for a moment in time is catching on to his song and dance.

Yes, I realize the impetus for most of the affiliates catching on. That said, I am just glad to see that some members of the affiliate community are attempting to get Rival Gaming to shape up or ship out!!

Thanks for saying that Pina. I never did understand the attitude part either. I think I finally said something to the effect of the guy sounding totally stressed out or something like that. Oh well.

I have always and still do believe that casinos and programs and certain issues definitely need to sometimes be taken to task with the rep(s). I figure as long as I can try and maintain a constructive balance between promoting them while at the same time taking certain issues to task with them is a fair balance or at least an attempt at it.

I'm not trying to plug here but I would always go to battle for the players first in probably 98% of issues, even those that did not sign-up thru me at my site. But still, I want to try to keep a good balance too and pick the issues that I'm going to battle on carefully. Hope that makes sense..:)

I'm proud to say I gave Rob some pats on the back too.....via PM a while back. I couldn't believe the attitude he got, for doing nothing more than asking questions.
The person who didn't want to answer the questions used BS excuses not to. Disrespected was one  and how he was doing everyone such a great favor just being there. Ooooo pls!

I see how you may feel that way especially when the industry leaders do not want the boat rocked. May take in water and sink:D But you were not on your own. Kinda, fair enough:thumbsup:

I perceived multi messages from others being sent to Mr. Wright (npi) especially at the end of the thread. JUST MY PERCEPTION!!

Makes perfect sense Rob. You start fighting over every single, small thing...you tend to not get taken seriously when the big issues come up. And besides, you can't win every battle....nor are they all worth winning. That old adage about "choosing your battles wisely" still rings true. You did good. :)

Am I allowed? If so,pronto or I can PM it----all ears!!

AGD has their own Announcements Forum here in the Webmaster section Nash...I don't see why you wouldn't be allowed to post it. JMO.

I am surprised by the responses over at AGD. What Rob is asking are perfectly valid questions. If we could head a 'head in the sand' award for casino managers it would def be John of Rockbet. If I am reading correctly, he is saying that the Irish Luck fiasco is a non-issue because there arent many players that visit forums. That makes me believe that many of the Rival casinos except possibly Slotocash would have shared the pot that Irish Luck had gotten thru illegal means.

I think he also mentions that bonus-banning from Rivals is not nearly as severe as MG or even RTG. Rival may be growing but it's customer base is not nearly as huge as the other 2. Furthermore, it's more the attitude that Rival casinos choose in labelling bonus lovers as bonus abusers that really piss people off. People take a bonus, lose and that is great. Once the same people start winning, they are bonus abusers. WTF. So people who continually lose on bonuses are not bonus abusers until they start winning. Come off it. Most players take bonuses to extend their playtime and Rival has responded by secretly increasing the variance of their slots. I have noticed that while the RTP to players has still remained relatively stable, you now need many, many more spins to overcome the variance even on slots that were previously regarded as low to medium variance. Several slots that used to give many bonus rounds give far fewer now but once you hit it pays much better. They have even altered some payouts to do this. Months ago, when I played Granny's Attic, 2 scatters paid you back your bet. No longer now so if the RTP is still the same the variance has increased as you get 2 scatters many times.

Rob, it's their turf so they gave you a hard time over these questions that we all hope could be answered. You are helping us and even them in the long run. Keep it up mate.

From a player's point of view, that was a really interesting read! I think you did a FANTASTIC job of demonstrating a balance between someone interested in improving an affiliate program while at the same time addressing issues for your players and the community in general.

You raised excellent points and questions, but unfortunately, the affiliate manager did not want to address them at that time nor in that forum. Instead, a tactic was used against you to create the impression that you were being out of line or overly aggressive, unappreciative, etc....

That was too bad because you were being quite polite and professional.

I remember an Adam Sandler movie where his character was on a plane. He nicely asked for a plillow or something and the attendent remarks " please don't raise your voice at me." He didn't raise his voice of course, but it was the impression that the attendant wanted everyone else on the plane to have. It is a tactic that is used often to derail arguments or debates.

I am still really suprised that no one really wanted to get into the whole bonus banning thing or the progressive issue, but everyone keeps wondering why the numbers were down? weird.

We might need to find the Adam Sandler in 'Big Daddy' to counter this.

I guess it took them a few days to come out with a $11.00 ND.

Yeah, i figured i would try them out using that $11, and did pretty good...had fun, got it up to over $300.....did the play thru, and decided to test their cashout process since it said i could cash out $55,
cash out within 2-5 business days, i requested it on the 11th at 1am, waited a couple of days and contacted support....that is when they said 2-5 days, their email said 2days

well here it is Friday...contacted support again...he said probably early next week....i said ok...

just got this email from them....

"Before your withdrawal can be processed, the system requires a verification deposit from your Quicktender account to your casino account. This is done in order to link your Quicktender account to your casino account.

This is for security purposes in order to guarantee the withdrawal will be processed to the correct account. You do not have to wager this deposit and may withdraw it right away."

well this is not stated in the t&c's .....and i have seen this done before at some "shaddy" places. but i know they do not need to do this to process a withdrawl...since they have my QT account # and email addy. (correct me if i am wrong)

it's not a big deal to me...not to get the $...but it will sure make me think twice before depositing.

(I don't post much...but thought i would in this case....since they are a new place and all)

Hey, congrats on your win, anything is better than nothing. I won on a free chip at Vegas Regal casino a couple of months ago. They asked for a ver. deposit from my qt. I did it, but didn't wager it. They sent my money in like 24 hours without a hassle.

I understand someone not wanting to this but, I've come acrross it more and more. I had to send one to Casino Titan, an RTG casino as well. Good Luck
