4 months now. No cashouts.
Mostly played on MG and now checking out the other softwares to see how to get out of this funk.
Thinking maybe a short break is needed.... but its too much fun! :)

Took me 8 months to finally found the withdrawal button, but then I sort of figured out at the start of the year. That my expectations were too high. I needed to set my sights a bit lower and not have such hopes of cashing out "big". So now as long as I have made the minimum to cash out via wire and cover there fees and my banks fees, yet still have a profit. I'm happy. So now my drought hasn't been quite so long. So far I have gotten a little over a month without a "win" but I figure it was bound to happen. Especially after the awesome beginning of the year I had.

Yes i figured i should try to set my goals lower too. What do you think is a reasonable amount to cashout vs your deposit? Cash out when you make x4 your deposit? Thats what i'm aiming at. I usually get to doubling and tripling my investment only,... then lose it back.

Tooo long!!! Around about two months since my last cash-out, it's been that bad I've stopped playing. I'm not enjoying it as much anymore.

I don't play to win money but I play to win... I don't even like loosing in fun mode. So it's not the money I play to win but the concept of winning.

I tend to be better at finding the withdrawal button. If there is a drought, I am more inclined to settle for a more modest withdrawal rather than push my luck. I still get some prolonged relative droughts where I cash out relatively small sums whilst maintaining my usual level of deposits.

I don't like having to refill my Neteller account from outside sources, I much prefer movement in the opposite direction;)

We'll i think it matters WHEN you cashout.

When you always only cashout on 1000$ and above, it's different. I mostly deposit between 25/50 and most of the time cashout when i'm over 200$ (because i play a lot!), if i have not one single cashout in 2 weeks, that would be horrible ;-)

Since January when I made a few back to back withdrawals I had made 3 withdrawals totaling £125 or thereabouts until last week when I hit an unexpected win £800 on IR.

I honestly can't remember the last time I went one full week without a cashout.

I make several cashouts each week, ranging from £100 right up to over £1000 (I don't get those big £1000+ cashouts every week though!). I do deposit a lot as well.
Having said that, I closed almost all my countless casino accounts a couple of weeks ago and play now only at 32Red group and Ladbrokes so it may dry up a bit :eek2:
But then I cashed out £800 from Ladbrokes last week, a few hundred from 32Red and £500 from NedPlay yesterday :D

Sorry but all those who claim not to have cashed out in 8 months or 4 months etc. have serious discipline issues, because you're not telling us EVERY deposit you've made in that time has immediately gone down i.e. you haven't been in a position at any point whereby say you've doubled the deposit or raised it by 50%???
It sounds like people expect massive 4-figure gains otherwise they play until annihilation.....

THANKS. That's exactly what i thought and meant. If you play often you will have a situation every couple of days or weeks in the worst case where you will be up if that doesn't happen then you maybe take always unbeatable bonuses, you only play extremely high stakes on extremely high variance slots or you always want to chase really big wins.

I EXACTLY played like this when i was younger. I NEVER cashed out, because i always chased really big wins. Everything changed so extremely positive since i started to do small deposits and flush the stuff out as soon as i'm up a bit. Let's say for a 25/50 deposit, if i'm over 200, i cash out 200 and play with the rest (or in some cases maybe 150). Of course sometimes it still goes higher... And maybe 2 hours later i have 5 200$ cashouts when i'm lucky, but this way i actually GET some money and not just play it down chasing some really high wins... I think it's pretty much as self-discipline thing...

When the minumum withdrawal is something like $350, it's very easy for low rollers to never cash out. :eek2: Even with discipline.... and especially if you're pretty well stuck only playing RTGs. I haven't been able to get above starting balance in my last 8 deposits.

i'm a little shocked that people go so long without making a withdrawal, i guess my expectations are way lower, in terms of winnings relative to deposits, but if i double my deposit or more i take it out and maybe play with the rest at low stakes, sure it might get deposited the next day somewhere else but i'm always aware of how much ive won and lost, a lot of time im happy to get back to what ive deposited and get it out if im not feeling the lucky and the balance has been plummeting :)

having said that my some of my best wins have come when i was tied into a bonus and had to keep playing to meet the wagering requirements :p

having read the posts made while i was posting this , i do feel for the us players on rtg's, if i could only play those horrible slots i think i wouldnt be playing at all

Yes i agree... With RTG it's painful.... But which casinos have a minimum withdrawal of 350$?? I would never play there... Also for e-wallets? The highest minimum withdrawal for me to e-wallets is @ Miami Club (150$)...

Cheers

I'm a USA player. What ewallet? Ewallets -there may be one or two working right now- for us are dangerous. Wire transfers... checks (maybe). Most accredited RTGs (for us) have minimum withdrawal limits in the $250 to $350 range the last time I looked (someone correct me if there are some lower). And then there's the fees to be considered.....

I understand what you mean. But in all seriousness i dont have high expectations of winning big,.... i was expecting to x4 my deposit but always reach x2 - 3 then drop. So to break the spell i am going to cash out when i reach x2 the next time. In previous years i managed to more of less have cashouts every month, even on a bad month maybe 10 deposits and at least 1-2 cashouts. I am a low roller though. Ive been trying other softwares lately, maybe i should go back to only microgaming :)

I have to agree with this. I have had long droughts, but I still cash out a few times a month. It means lowering my expectations by cashing out something I would usually keep playing on in the hope of doing better. It ensures I at least have something left for a fresh try at a different casino or a later date.

It has no effect on my chances, given that the games are random, but is a useful bankroll management method that ensures I always have something left for another go later on. If I hit big or often, and withdraw a decent chunk, I do play more loosely, and sometimes it pays off BIG. I may also go after one of the big wager challenge events if I feel my bankroll can last the distance without too much damage.

So far this month I have made two decent withdrawals, so no sign yet of a drought;)

My longest drought was making over 50 deposits at 3dice without ever getting above 3x original deposit. Average deposit was about $50 to $75
and never saw anything worth writing home about so I quit playing there.

Funny thing is that I had a 50+ deposit drought at Microgaming at one of the casinos a few years back and Enzo (Dev/manager) at 3dice said I should never see that kind of drought.

So I had some initial success at 3dice for awhile but then got to the 50+ deposit mark with NO cashouts so I quit depositing based on his own observation. lol

I do think they run a fantastic casino and when they get more games and more deposit options for U.S. , I will be back.

Im hoping when regulation falls into place for U.S. here soon, 3dice will be one to get a license.

I also agree with posters on RTG -- and the $250 or $350 minimum.... it can prolong your drought since you really need a huge win to cashout... and sadly, if you hit something like I did -- 4 or 5 Random Jackpots in 2 weeks (like I just did after getting only 1 in 5 years), your balance gets so high you cant cashout most of it unless you're willing to wait weeks and weeks and I have no patience... so reversed and lost MOST of it. Maybe took home $5k of the $15k I won in randoms. pretty sad. Why oh why cant RTG create a Flush option like MG and 3dice have -- so EVEN IF they can't process the withdrawal for a few weeks, at least its flushed and protected. Do they count on reversals moreso at RTG than other casinos - just hoping you will reverse and lose?

I think it is really bad they dont have any way to flush or make the withdrawal non reversable.
The only reasonable thing to do is to close your account, until you get your cashout. You should try that next time you win big (and I should too, since I have reversed wayyyy too many withdraws...:D). It is really easy to get them to close your account, for one week or two weeks etc.

My longest time without withdrawal will become soon, since I have stopped spinning the slots for a while. Useally I made at least one wd/ week (vs trillion deposits :D).

Nope I can honestly say I haven't been in a position where I've been able to withdraw for the last couple of months (except one $200 win). The few times I have been really ahead, I've been playing a bonus.

I'm a very disciplined gambler, I have a weekly budget that I stick to and have what software I'll play mapped out to each day. My usual deposit is between $30 - $40. I won't cash-out 50% (that's only $20) but that's all I've been able to get ahead by and only a few times throughout the last two months.

I wouldn't have stopped playing unless things were REALLY bad. So bad I've gone back to playing at land based venues with an 87-90% RTP. I understand the odds, that playing slots is not a good bet, I could play Black Jack but I don't want to I want to play slots but as long as they keep going as crap as they have been I won't be playing them.

I also want to add, That RTG is not the only software that gives constantly crappy features. I've closed my accounts at a couple of Netent casinos (they aren't as bad though). Sick of getting features on Wild Turkey at 60c and winning ten bucks. Seriously? How does that even happen? Slots are supposed to be fun but when you find yourself rolling you're eyes after every feature you get it's obvious that it's time to stop. I only play at Slots Jungle and 32 Red now :)
