Nonsense. Lost a bundle playing with deposit bonuses and now I am bonus banned and cannot claim this $7. Am I too unskilled for this bonus lol.

The best way to lose a customer.
Sloto, you will get a prize I think:thumbsup:

Isn't your games random? I always want to believe that until I see someone getting bonusbanned for being lucky winning on a bonus. Especially when he can't be a bonusabuser until he have used a little more bonuses than that:rolleyes:

Well a similar thing happened to me... Slotocash sent me an email for an offer I wasn't eligible for and wouldn't honor it. They sent me an email with the title "Enjoy Sloto'Cash this Christmas with a Free 31 Chip‏". The email contained a non deposit coupon code and my account name. When I tried to redeem the coupon, The operator wouldn't honor it.

I had previously deactived my account. Which will stay closed. Here's a screen shot of the email...

Some of these casinos appear to make blundering mistakes during the festive season. They must be extremely busy...

Maybe you could try contacting the representative on this forum? :)

LOL....that's the bugger - a mass e-mail that looks like YOU have been selected for xxxxxx bonus.
Then , of course you log in and find a reason it won't be honoured and the excuses come that way. So, I'm up and bonus-barred. ChuChu59 is DOWN and bonus-barred. Strange.

It seems a simple tactic to me. It gets you to either login or open up your downloaded casino. You sit there bonus-denied and then the CS tells you 'but at least if you deposit you are playing with cash and have no w/d restrictions' and lo and behold! you're playing.

I won't bother with the rep though. She'll simply say it was ' a mass generic e-mail' and I've got enough on my plate getting the VPL rep to contact me at the moment for non-payout.
And it has to be said, after playing there for the first time Xmas eve, and winning a small sum and making 2 w/d's, they paid me into Neteller in 36 and 50 hours respectively, so my first experience with RTG was OK, only because I used the accredited list here.

Was the email addressed to you by your name? If not, probably the email came from an affiliate.

Yes that's pretty much what happened :)

They wanted me to deposit and disguised it as a free chip bonus... They quickly started boasting that they are "very generous" with bonuses, well given the position you me and chu are in obviously not.

Vegas Player Lounge? I'll remember to avoid them ;)

Oh well, joined the wrong RTG casino for bonuses then didn't I?
To be honest, the games are almost all clones of each other, and seem quite low-variance judging by my experience. Found my stake lasted a while though, and it's possible to get random jackpots too. I've uninstalled Slotocash now so if I decide to play RTG again, you'd recommend Aladdins or clubworld?

There are a lot of very high variance games on RTG. While they all look and feel similar, they are quite different.

Aladdin's Gold is great, I'd highly recommend that casino, it's also accredited :)

Yeah the games seem familiar to each other however they all differ in variance. Try the download casino, I know Aladdin's Gold actually tells you what variance each game is.

My favorite games are Aztecs Gold (high variance), Enchanted Garden (high variance), also the feature guaranteed games Ronin and Hairway to Haven. These two games are also high variance which makes the feature guarantee a good thing.

Yeah, fair enough, I must've played 2 LV slots then. I played raindance (couldn't get away from it kept filling the bank, taking back, filling again lol) and the triple twister one which sucked my remaining stake away quickly after I'd cashed out. They seem a bit old and dated but I like the sound of the examples you gave I didn't try.

Mark, I'm not sure if you've been gambling online for a while, but there are a few clues in this email to indicate it isn't a genuine offer from Slotocash:

1. The instructions say "Download and signup". If it were a no deposit offer for an existing account, it wouldn't say anything about signing up.

2. The code itself. It says "MATCH" in it, which is usually indicative of a match bonus not a freebie. As it turns out, that code is exactly the same as their 200% match first deposit bonus which is available to everybody on their website.

3. You didn't include the sender details, but I'm sure a quick look would reveal it wasn't sent from the casino I.e. the sender name may have been slotocash but the actual email address will most likely be some affiliate site.

4. I didn't see your account login name anywhere. Just because they address you by your real name, doesn't mean it is legit. Your details are probably in heaps of databases online. If it doesn't include your actual account login name, its probably bogus.....or certainly not a special offer from the casino.

I hope this helps you to sort the wheat from the chaff in the future.

If it is a rogue affiliate, which they would have to be to be deliberately misleading like this, they should be immediately terminated and their earnings confiscated. IMO, too many operators dole out useless and weak warnings to such scumbags, which allows them to continue their dodgy activities. It might mean some extra revenue in the short term, but it also creates a lot of pissed off potential players who will never return, and who will tell another 10 people not to go near that casino either. Until casinos adopt a zero tolerance approach to scummy affiliates, and hit them in the hip pocket, they'll continue to try and scam themselves an income, whilst damaging the brands they promote.

I get the same emails, just deleted one as a matter of fact.

While it does look like it came from Slotocash, as Nifty said, there are certain things that alert you to the fact it came from an affiliate.

I sent a copy of one of them to Sloto CS but never heard anything back. I would like to know how they got this particular email address that it comes to as it is the one I use for casinos only and not the one I use for forums etc.

Thanks for the advice  Although I already know most of that :)

Slotocash actually acknowledge the email as an offer from them, they told me that the emails are sent out to everyone, they also acknowledged it as a no deposit bonus offer... The reason they wouldn't honor the offer is because only a new customer can redeem no deposit offers... The fact is that since they'd know I'm not a new customer and the email did come from them, they should be willing to honor the bonus and remember not to send me these emails in the future... They should not have sent me an offer that I wasn't eligible for. Similar issue occurred at Club World casinos as Balthazar pointed out their rep acknowledged this and fixed the issue https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/thanks-for-the-gift-cw-group-but.54452/. Since we are discussing their lack of bonus giving this post is a pretty important one.

I had also deactivated my account as I wasn't originally a fan of the games they have on their casino. The email say's "download the software, sign up, and start playing". Turns out I'm just not a fan of Slotocash.

So Ms Sloto confirmed to you via PM that the email was sent from the casino?

No live chat did on the Slotocash website :)

Don't take live chat's word as gospel, especially when it comes to promotional emails....they are handled by a seperate department.

Ms Sloto stated she thinks it is from an affiliate, so it probably is....hence you should hold off on accusing them of anything untoward until this is confirmed IMO.

Thanks allot for pointing that out to me Nifty29 :) I hadn't actually noticed the post by Sloto but have seen that now

Here is the e-mail I got - seems genuine. Sorry I had to do 3 snips to fit it in. From 'deckmedia' and note sloto name at bottom.

So the CS George bloke was talking bollocks then - it was sent to ME personally.
Then they fail to honour it, because I 'am too skilled' (In other words I made a small profit and knew when to stop, ahead!)
Why don't they just rename the 'free' chip code 'ONLYIFULOST2012' :):)

Your's is definitely genuine  The chat staff just confused things even more

I just assumed since the chat staff said they had sent it then they must have sent it... obviously not otherwise it would look similar to the one you received :)

Slotocash has some of the worst support staff in the industry. They know next to nothing so everything they say must be taken with a pinch of salt. Ms Sloto follows issues very closely so it would be best to wait for her reply. I have found her to be reliable and responsive.

Is that really true or just your experiences?
I feel bad for them if they are that unprofessional, but I can't remember them being different than others.

Since I also think that Ms Sloto is okey I can't really believe that she would allow that kind of staf.

Chuchu is one hundred percent on the mark

I didn't want to complain but the real reason I deactivated my account was due to the unsatisfactory customer service provided by their support department. This occasion proved no different :)

But since you're so good at complaining, even about good places, I don't listen to you (yet):p
How will I know if this also was about not getting a free chip or enough playtime, rigged games or just you in a bad mood:rolleyes:

Both my experiences and what I read of others experiences in this forum . I think Ms Sloto is aware of the problem thus she keeps a close tab on player issues.

Thanks! I felt the same when I played there before, but I have now been told that there have been changes made to make it better.
I trust that they are doing their best.
I suppose time will tell. I just hope that people doesn't keep their thoughts for years without really knowing how it is now so that's why I asked :)

All said and done, missing 7 lousy dollars won't kill me, and the MAIN issue is they cashed me out promptly and accurately after one security phone call made before I even tried to cash out xmas eve. So, biased and selective promos aside, not too bad overall as my first experience with RTG. Just don't get the offers being targeted at those who aren't allowed them....

As long as they are accredited players will continue to patronise them and will share their experiences(positive or negative) so there is no need to worry.

Well without players like me how would these casinos know what needs improvement? :p

P.s. I'm never in a bad mood, well at least almost never ;)
