Ho, ho, ho! 32 red

Noticed the MG wide script error was gone in 32Red yesterday early evening, but was afraid to get my hopes up as at that time the issues were still present at the other MG-Casinos, including 32Red's sisters, but i did have a feeling it would be gone quickly:) And when i just now checked, all the MG-Casinos are back to normal again!
What a breath of fresh air..

This leads me to the conclusion that either MG have been working very closely with 32Red on the issue, maybe even using 32Red as a test dummy.. or, it might be that 32Red's techies came up with the actual fix, and quickly passed it on to MG.
Either way i am confident 32Red has worked very hard in solving this.. even though the actual problem was on MG's shoulders..

Ho Ho Ho and Merry X-mas:)

I was told there would be a fix for all the problems yesterday. I didn't believe it first because bdba was opening in the background again.
But then there was no more problems so the fix had not just been done yet when I opened the game.

I don't know if I should say well done or finally but good that it's back to normal

I would really like to know how this affects players next week.

Does this mean if you withdraw late on Tuesday then it will stay pending till the following Monday since Thursday and Friday are bank holidays as they don't normally process withdrawals on holiday Monday's. If so then that is really surprising that they made the changes at the same time as they released their festive calendar which is all deposit bonuses.

Let's face it if you take a bonus on Tuesday and win you are hardly going to redeposit again that week if your withdrawal is pending so long.

Wonder if all this has something to do with all the new players they got from accounts being transferred from places like go wild etc.

I think that is exactly what it means.Next week the 'weekend' will be Thursday,Friday,Saturday and Sunday. If the withdrawal cut off time is 3.15pm,any withdrawal made after this time on Tuesday will not be paid until the following Monday after you take into account the 24hr pending period which I find totally unacceptable. Also, why is it that a reversal cannot qualify for a DOTD bonus? After all it is the player's money regardless of whether it is a reversal or a new deposit.

After all it is the player's money regardless of whether it is a reversal or a new deposit.

It's still possible to make a fresh qualifying deposit, but you need to have additional money as you can't rely on what you have just withdrawn yesterday any longer. When banking opens in the Viper lobby it will offer a reverse by default. All you have to do is click on the "deposit" tab and you can make a fresh deposit, leaving the withdrawal to carry on through the system. The problem with reversing is that it starts the pending clock ticking all over again, as well as not being counted as a qualifying deposit.

If having withdrawals reversible for longer is a move to find a workaround for the UKGC imposed player deposit limits that might prevent a player from coming back the next day if the earlier withdrawal is no longer available to dip into, that's rather naughty. Perhaps the UKGC haven't thought of this when implementing the deposit limits, but we have many sad tales here where players have been tempted to reverse a substantial withdrawal only to lose the lot back. The solution is simple, the UKGC should insist that reversed withdrawals count towards a players' overall limit settings. This would prevent a player from reversing a big win in it's entirety, and they would have to let it go through the payment process. Since 7 days notice has to be given for an increase in deposit limits, players would be protected for 7 days from reversing a big win, which by the time this notice period is up, will have been paid by a reputable casino anyway.

in the end it was disappointing for me i didnt lose as i stopped at break even

could have an easy win 1000 pounds but salsaila just entered in bw :)

he continuously played for 40 odd hours may be some one else helped him

to make it worse the game stopped playing me while we plyaing he had a lead of around 1000+
we played like 5-6 hours and his lead steadily increased and i was just crawling
actually my rtp was bad on this one below 90%

if could have taken a break off 2 or 3 hours i could have catched up

im not sure i will play the next one sick of the slot now :(

Try with the sound off:) It does get damn annoying when you are playing for a while, but with the sound off you don't hear when you have free spins as autoplay doesn't carry on.

the top two would not have had it so easy were it not for the damn bug that only got fixed with 2 days to go. Instead of spending tens of hours trying to find a solution, I would have spent tens of hours playing all 999 continues and seeing sscrabble off.

There is also the problem that the game slows markedly during the session, and this is yet another bug. Closing the casino and relaunching it gets the game back up to speed again. It suggests some kind of "memory leak" that steadily bogs down the running process such that it takes longer and longer to process the graphics. I note that when viewed as a running process it's allocated memory grows steadily over time, whilst the graphical rendering becomes ever slower and jerkier.

It would be worth looking into running a third party memory tuning application alongside the tournament to see if the game can be kept in top form without having to keep on closing down and relaunching the casino. I have tried one, but it doesn't provide a complete solution. I also have a massive 16Gig of RAM, and it doesn't even get half used despite the memory leak, so it's not a simple case of running out of memory on this PC, although this would be a real problem on a more basic model.

ty Vinyl its from your advise i started to do well on tourneys so far im a big plus on them

as its long and tiring is one bad side but it saves many other deposits

actually the bug almost made a profit for me too i was able to keep the poup

i made a big mistake i stopped playing when my lead was just around 7k+

and the guy next below me was no playing at all and above me was 15k+ above

so i thought just grab that place and i almost did

but then this guy continuously played for 45+ hours and beat it off

i would have played it even if its deck the halls this is really annoying game :(

Damn you:mad:

I had it at first, but then I lost it after I turned off a popup for the 125K one that kept being offered instead of the 10K one I actually wanted to get playing. What was even more annoying, it never came back, not even when deleting all caches, temporary files, etc. Even installing the casino on a "virgin" machine that had never before had MGS on it didn't restore the popup. Perhaps MGS have made an earlier change regarding the popup, perhaps related to the fact that we no longer get those "recommended games" when trying to close a game.

I will have to see if I get the popup for the next one tomorrow, although with the main problem fixed, it won't be a problem if it's still broken.

Quick question, in recent weeks I've been unable to play IR at more than 25 spins on autoplay, however this morning the options to play at 50/100/250 spins has reappeared.

What's that all about?

The guy below you was me!! Well for most of the time.

I personally won't be playing a tournament like this again, I just don't have the will power to keep going, that's the reason I had stopped.
Fair play to those who won.

I could have tried to push on but like you say sailasaila just kept on playing for almost 2 days straight, so I stopped and didn't play for the last 24 hours.

As for the problems everyone had getting into the tournament, I found the best solution was to when it started to lag disconnect when you still had coins left, connect again and you would get straight back in. It worked for me anyway.

.

I would certainly not have done as well if Vinyl and others had not had problems - ended up only having to play just over 600 games for a great win of nearly £1500 - rtp was nearly 98% so a good chance that I might have won it anyway - thank you and Happy Christmas 32red !

Pity they are using the same game for the next two tournaments - would have been better if they had used another Xmas slot, or one of the new games to give us a good play on them. I might not enter this weeks as, like many of us , will be out of action for 2 or 3 days over Christmas. Might try a late entry if there is a chance of a profit towards the end.

Hoping there will be lots of tournaments next year - I think they could be very successful - in fact maybe 'too successful' - so winners end up losing ! To explain - if they have a tournament like these with a £10000 prize fund , and they get £15000 worth of entries - players lose a total of £5000 - because the prizes for say fourth, 5th , 6th are £1000, £500 , £400 -- but players 'going for it' might spend £1500 or more , maybe even the full £2500 - going for the top prizes (as Lion did in the last tournament - well done to him winning £1000+ back in this as well after his £1500 loss in the last one) . The easy way round this is to add part of the stake money back in to the prize fund - so they say any a percentage of entry fees once entry fees reach 'x-amount' , will be added to prizes - a bit like the accumulator. They would probably look for 20% profit (10% would be great !!) , so with a £15000 entry £3000 would be added to prizes - probably proportionately to prizes - so £3000 first prize becomes £3900, £500 becomes £650 - but would be even better if it was added levelly to the prizes - so each of the ten prizes would have £300 added in this instance - £1000 would go to £1300, £500 to £800, and the £100 prizes would become £400 each - would make it much more attractive for the low rollers !

(i would love to be a tournament organizer !)

What's that all about?

They had that update yesterday that was suppose to cure all problems with the tournaments and extra black windows.
I don't know if it really fixed it all because some of my games are still opened in the background. I haven't seen any black extra windows though so it's a lot better.
Several games were set on autoplay for just 25, but since the rules changed they probably took their chance yesterday to include the change back to normal settings in autoplay too.
When I set a game to quickspin I expect that to stay, but on several game I have to reset it each time I play. I hope they fixed that too because it's so annoying.

How did you work out your rtp ? your score was 3382530. You played almost 400 games. Even if you had played all 400 I make your rtp about 94%?

so more than 3200x bet needed for absolute bottom prize, proof that non addon using "freeroll" players have practically no chance what so ever to win anything in these 999 continue tournamants.

I just don't get it! Of course in the end it's about business, but why does the casino with the best reputation getting more and more average when other casinos smaller and with less players can afford better service? That's what i don't get! No weekend cashouts is one thing, but to wait for a withdrawal 2 days and to loose the flush option is another thing.

Don't get it!! The only difference between them and the average mg download casino was the incredible service, and they decided to shut this down. I would not imagine if this will back fire on some point. All the casinos try to payout faster to be more state of the art, and they pay slower and then decided to pay even slower a second time....

Thank God we still have the betsson group which pushes instant withdrawals further and further!

I was outsmarted, ambushed when I was away for a couple of days over Christmas

He is likely to have used around 1000 continues between the pair, around £2500 outlay, but brought home some £4500, so around a £2000 profit. I more or less broke even, so not a total disaster.

I was surprised you backed off yesterday - you were only about 100,000 points behind at about 3pm - you had chased him for several hours , whittled down his lead --- but then gave up !!!

me too i was aiming a late entry but i see sailsaila two lions and two vinyls

thought all they go far end then possible outcome will be the 7th prize or 6th i dropped it

oh and then that damn game wish if the next game is deck the halls
