Oh, yes, the dreaded RWS... Reverse Withdrawal Syndrome.

I should be complaining, at least I have a withdrawal. I've lost half of dear readers already.

Oh, and not a CM accredited casino... I've lost another 50%.

And Club Gold doesn't take US, lets lop off another few might sympathise.

Club Gold has not let me down yet, and they have always processed as quick or quicker than the timeframe they state. And I've been lucky too, not every time, but lucky enough.

But I won on a Wednesday, the four business days are seeming verrrry long. I asked on Friday if a reverse and a smaller withdrawal would start the clock again, and the answer was yes. So I stayed strong. Planned some play and deposited today. But those are gone, and so is the rest of my available funds.

I just need to hold out a little more.

Typing this and hopefully reading your responses will occupy me enough not to start all over again when the end is almost in sight.

Rest assured, Club Gold, you will have another deposit once I have funds again. But I may have to ask again for help to stay strong.

I do like very much however that I have the option of depositing from another source when a withdrawal is pending. I've just run out of sources for the time being!

Jazzy.....deep breaths and think about how you will FURTHER lose than that you have withdawn already....trust me ...take a walk...clean out a drawer...talk to your best friend...think about HOW the online casinos , maybe, WANT you to do this..withdraw!

Do not let US the rest of us down....think about the accredited site casinos...with the new points for casinos to stay 'accredited'...is ..about flushing! (ok, the guilt card is wrong...but think about the greater good)

Don't do it! Take a walk, cook something, call someone you have'nt called in a while....take a long bath with candles...square breathing...

Throw your comp out of the window.

In other words, it is so wrong that we can't flush at most RTG sites....don't give in.

I have reversed winnings a total of 24 times in my "career" playing online....out of those 24 times, I managed to increase my winnings ...wait for it ....THREE TIMES! The rest went down the drains, where they expect it to go.
Now that should be more than enough reason for you to go do something else....you'll be asking for it, and then you'll hate yourself.....just sayin'

TY all, staying firm.

Special shout out to a 3Dice friend helped me occupy my time by pm.

I remain cautious with Club Gold, but they have few complaints here and an active rep. They do not have a policy of paying progessives in full whiick prohibits them from accredition, and while not pushy, they do offer incentves to reverse withdrawals. The incentives are not an incentive for a savvy player.

I have to be honest about myself sometimes. If the funds were paid already, I would have played more this weekend. As it stands, I have pans for most of it when it is paid.

I'm only taling a few days here, I know it's longer than that for most US players most places.

Thanks for the support. I think most of us have bough the T-Shirt at some point.

.

You will feel like shit if you reverse it so you know...don't do it because you will most likely lose it back.

As others have suggested. When you feel the urge, turn off your computer and take a walk outside, bake a cake or whatever.

Good luck beating the stupid 4 days obligatory pending time. We know you can do it :D

Sounds like a big win Jazzy!
Hang tough, bug support a bit, or the vip manager, and indeed hang out in 3dice, engage watch a movie or read a book: you have already done the most important, being the pressing of the cashout button!
I know you can do it, just think of the things you had it planned for already and focus on that!
Good luck Jazzy:)

Isn't it strange that it is so easy to do other things when you have funds to play with? When waiting for a cashout, you don't seems to be able to think of anything else, or do anything else:rolleyes:
It's like stop smoking or be on a diet or something. You can only focus on what you don't have or what you shouldn't do.
The mind is strange:eek2:

You have more control than I have, and you're my hero here, so don't you dare reverse:p

(I have three cashouts from yesterday that I'm waiting for, but since I know they all will arrive today, I think I can make it):D

Thanks all for your support. I'm pleased to report my withdrawal is no longer pending (so less than four business days), and I have a little insurance bonus from my weekend play to scratch my itch with.

The withdrawal is a decent size, $500, and represents half the cost of a trip to Cuba in the not too distant future I hope.

Just VOW to go to another site and play. Avoid the pending w/d site like the plague! I have been in your shoes a lot. So I am looking myself in the mirror as I type this as well. It is especially hard to wait out a w/d on a long holiday weekend.......time crawls while waiting for it to be taken from requested to processed/approved so you can't touch it.

Stay away is best advice I can give you. As an experienced player and CM member you know when you are willing to play at a nonaccredited site - but there are plenty that aren't accredited but also not rogued. Expand your options and play elsewhere.

Congrats on the win.

That is great to hear. Way to Go

And remember to share some pictures with us if you are traveling to Cuba :D

I think I've only reversed 3 times ever, back when I played at many a Rival Casino. I reversed due to the otherworldly delays and general horseshit the white labels put their legitimate cash depositing players through.

I blew 2 down to nothing. But the third, oh the third. I turned 200 dollar reverse into a shade over 2500.

Take that you procrastinating, bullshit spouting, classless motherfuckers!

They may have had the last laugh however. Trying to get the cash was as difficult as drawing Excalibur out of the stone if your name isn't 'Arthur'. I did get the cash but the process aged me 3 years in one month.

I could easily buy a brand new car (and not a cheap one) if I could get back all the money from the reverse withdrawls that I've lost over the years. RW's are pure evil.:(

I've tried a lot of things to fight them. Obviously uninstalling a casino won't work because it's too fast and easy to reinstall. The thing that I've found that worked the best was changing my password to something random that I couldn't possibly remember (like "dasjkhadshdfhdfs"). Since I knew that it was impossible to access my account unless I had a chat with customer service, that was enough to keep me away from my withdrawals.

It worked for me (several times).

You do realise that everyone reading this thread now knows what your password is at all the casinos you play...

KK :p

LOL
I remember one time I had a lot of withdrawals in a fairly short span of time and the CS guy at that one casino asked me if it was normal that my password had been reseted 12 times in the last 2 months.

I was like "yeah, I keep forgetting it but I'll write it down this time..."

I don't necessarily advocate doing that BTW, I was just sharing my experience as I know how bad it can be for some of us when we're dealing with reverse withdrawals. When you're in a land based casino, you can always leave with your winnings but with online gaming, it's like waking up in the casino every morning.

Reverse the withdrawal, lose it and then come back here in a big huff. Start another thread ranting about how it's entirely the casino's fault for making you wait and not listening to your demands that they should pay you anyway.

It doesn't get you any money but it does give you a week or so to post new excuses how the casino forced you to play your money and how you shouldn't accept any of the blame.

Oh, wait. This is Jazzy... She's not insane.

Carry on. :p

Just a side note. The new accredited section lists the reversal times and whether or not a casino will flush accounts. It'll make choosing casinos a bit easier in case you are prone to playing your winnings back.

I know some people have more trouble with reversing than others. I've never been in the position of having a cashout that is subject to weekly limits, it must be so hard to stay strong for weeks.

It was a great help to post here.

I would have felt like such a fool to have reversed and then had to come back and fess up.

The Reverse Curse

Thanks for posting this Jas ! It was fun to read and I am sure it inspired others to hang in there while waiting.. and waiting. Next time i think of pressing the "Reverse Curse" button ,, I will remember this post !

So you're saying you're not going to fess up?

Nothing to fess Skiny. Withdrawal no longer pending next day, paid Wednesday. Made a couple of deposits which were planned from the get go, (one ClubGold, one 32Red) cash in my undies drawer saved for trip.

Had I failed, I would have shared. I'm glad I didn't have to share another failure. I really only have one biggie, and it predates my CM membership. The notepad sits on my desk still. Somehow that same one needed a booster shot 5 years later.

I have a concrete goal (trip) in site, it really helps me to cashout when able. There's a lot of times I'm in a cashout position and don't, and pretty much always never at peak balance. Hey, you don't know what the peak is until you are well under it, lol. I was quite a bit further ahead on that deposit than a $500 cashout, but I am a happy camper.

That concrete goal in mind of a trip also means I have a smaller gambling budget, as I'm saving for something. My strongest point is not long term goals, but I usually succeed with smaller and shorter term ones.

The trip goal today sure kept me from going out and spending that money today... nobody is pending, least of all me. Read a ton of trip reviews and then talked about our hopes and plans and budget with my roommate.

I seriously don't believe I will be gamble free until then, but it may be a smaller deposit rather than mid-sized. And a relatively small cashout may mean playing again, or even a day excursion.

The amount spent this summer gambling would have totally covered the cost of a trip to Cuba this fall. But I didn't have friends and plans then, and I do now. Managed to enjoy summer and do stuff and eat out as well as gamble. I have cut all eating out from my next few weeks budget. I could probably eat out occassionally if I didn't gamble at all, but I'm a good cook and I like gambling.

For a hobby that mostly keeps me from spending money on other brief forms of satisfaction, I'm a pretty happy gambler.

Maybe Skiny wants to take his words bacj about me not being insane. I'm sure he had his doubts from our first meeting.

I know what kind of gambler I was a decade ago. I'm a better gambler now thanks to all the knowledge and advice I've gotten here over the past 5 years.

Hang tough

Well I'm also waiting for a w/d but had some interesting fun with the
freebies while I was waiting. Activated $25 , cleared the 60 times wagering
requirements....brought it up to well over $1,000 and back to zero....hehehe!!!
It had a 5x max and I have no option in cashing out that amount so it was fun...
got 2000+comp points!!!!! So stay strong n no REVERSE...I did it twice and both times down the toilet!!!
