You also had members custom titles and avatars changed to humiliate and belittle them. For you to have the nerve to come onto any industry forum and cry foul is laughable after the actions you were involved with.
On this note.
All I can say is if a member has a avatar He/She has the right to have one they pick out & let them keep it.
But if the avatars have something bad on it Yes change it.
You changed Mojo's for no reason.

So, as entertaining as it might be for readers, I don't think it's a great idea to have this kind of back and forth business discussion in public forum.
Oh I totally disagree.
Way too many things have been hidden in this business for way too long...

With more transparency comes more credibility... and more money.
This is a business of trust and for trust to take hold problems must be dealt with in an open manner that will show the public that we can be trusted.

I also can't believe you had the balls to post what amounts to a promo for CAP here

Who's picking on Dom? I asked her how she could support my banning at CAP and the theft of all the companies funds. I think thats a valid question. Especially after all the years we have worked together.

I am not supporting anyone except the affs who are at CAP scratching their heads.

You and Warren need to clear things up amongst yourselves. I am staying wayyyyyy clear of what is happening between the two of you. I like none of it. Not one thing. There are no sides to take. It's all bad.

As long as the board is up and running and affs are there wondering wtf is going to happen, I'll fill in and be there for them. If either you or Warren take the helm, I am leaving again. At this time, there is no one at the helm.

CAP is about affiliates, not corporate struggles or personal vendettas.

This has spun way out of control, and the CAP community is the victim. I am very saddened by all of this.

You two stop destroying each other and the community and start fixing things.

Transparent, hell yes!

I agree 100% what CAP needs is considerable more transparency. What I was speaking was about the fact that I find out in a forum that my soon to be employer feels I may be trying to take over when I have yet to start.

This isnt the place for that.

As for your 2nd comment , if you cant believe I have the balls to post my actual thoughts on a forum, then you dont know me. To be clear, my comments were not a promo, its the way I feel. Until a mere 60 days ago, most of the people in our industry would have been inclined to agree with me.

No one asked me to post here, I did not request nor do I desire permission from Warren or Lou to do so either. For me personally its a matter of evaluating a situation for what it really is, and to try and decide where to go from here. I can speak freely, as I am not bound to any agreements that prevent me from doing so.

CAP, and Affiliate Media Inc is more than just Lou and Warren, and I think its important to understand that. The other players in the business are the people who make the events awesome, the people who contribute content to the sites, the people who try and think of great new products and services to help bridge the gap between affiliates and programs.

So, its not a promo, its what I believe, it's why i took the job, and if takes balls to say it, then its a good thing I have a pair.

Shame on you Bob - as a person with as much respect as you command to still want to do business with people who have NOW (finally) admitted to crossing significant ethical barriers, shame on you.

As an SEO guru - are you not familiar with the idea of not associating yourself with a bad neighborhood?

If you really had some balls like you claim you would resign yesterday.

My .02 of course, but that's what is great about an open forum - I'm allowed to post my opinion which is more than the courtesy your employer showed me when I was calling out CardSpike ownership issues on behalf of friends who were STOLEN from by Lou and Warren.

BTW - great forum here guys! Wasn't aware of it until seeing it on PAL.

My apologies.

Even more than a few months ago a LOT of people in this business knew the smell from CAP was rotten, things just didn't smell right at CAP, things like selling player data bases to the highest bidder, promoting known "bad" casinos/poker rooms and the censorship just to name a few things.

Most folks chose to turn a blind eye toward the goings on at CAP because they thought it was in their best interests to keep quiet. I hope some of those folks are rethinking this.

Exactly and ditto

Bob I was told by that mutual friend you would call and when call the didnt come I was justifiably concerned. As I stated several times I consider you one of the best SEO guys on the Planet and I was the one who championed you coming on as Marketing VP for CAP and AMI. I hope we have the opportunity to speak soon.

Bonustreak Warren is not responding to me, has blocked me on skype, removed me from his email contacts and prevented me from mailing anyone at the company. He has also banned me at CAP. How do we move forward or fix things between ourselves like that? He's also ignoring everyone at CAP who has asked that my admin and posting rights be fully restored. Thats not being responsive to the community so if he wanted to follow CAP member wishes or make things better that wouldnt be happening.

I would relish the opportunity to post in my own community and hash things out. I am also interested in solving this issue ASAP before it brings on more damage to CAP, Affiliate Media and the affiliate industry as a whole. The ball is squarely in Warren's court. I hope everyone at CAP and within the industry continues to tell him to do the right thing and fix this grave injustice immediately.

All Valid Points

I'm not sure how brave it would be to quit before I start full time.

I can't really speak on what happened before. I know it will be a tough road, and I understand I may have bitten off more than I can chew. I'm always up for a challenge.

As far as associating yourself with a bad neighborhood, I would not be in this business at all if listened to that kind of thing. I love this business, I love this industry, and I honestly hope to leave a positive impact on it.

So, will it make me look bad for taking the challenge of making CAP and Affiliate Media a better place, and trying to do the best job I can in the process? No more than leaving the traditional advertising agency world to work in online gaming I hope.

I agree with DOM, CAP is about affiliates, and if it's wondered off this path, I hope I can help pull it back on.

Well, YOU could start by apologizing for your previous actions in regards to the coverups, your involvement with the Cardspike fiasco, your involvement in the bannings of members, deletions or locking of threads, the avatar and title changes, etc.

You could also explain why you did all of these things, and now that you are the one suffering injustices that you perpertrated upon so many others, why we should give two craps about your situation.

Really, why should we care what's happening to you after what you've done? What will YOU do to fix all that's already been done?

I would relish the opportunity to post in my own community and hash things out. Typical, anything bad happens to others and it's no big deal. But something happens specifically to YOU and suddenly it's a "grave injustice"

Perhaps you need to stop being selfish and constantly thinking of yourself, and consider how you were involved in a massive industry screwup, and what you can do to make amends, apologize and repair the damage.

Right now all you seem to care about is making sure you get your cut of the stolen money. So why should any of us champion your cause and speak up on behalf of The Professor? Help us to understand why we should support you.

I appreciate your intentions Bob, and your reply.

However - if we all agree CAP is for the affiliates then how could one support or trust anything coming from the current ownership?

This company not only promoted rogue rooms and stole from affiliates, but they banned and ridiculed anyone who asked why.

I believe that is the definition of an anti-affiliate posture in itself.

Really? The account balance after the $1.24M withdrawal was under [edit: numbers were wrong..., there were deposits made after the 1.24M withdrawal]$1200

And the wire was initiated online, not at any branch. It's quite obvious with the "PC INITIATED WIRE OLB TRANSFER FROM ####" in the "memo" field.

Lou, What did the Bank say when you asked them how Warren was able to electronically (online) manage to transfer over $1,000,000.00 to an offshore account with the "Patriot Act" in place without you or him either one having to show up at the bank in person to fill out all the necessary paperwork that is required in order to transfer that amount of money out of the country since the "Patriot Act" was implemented??

You did...ask them this, right??

I say Donate the stolen Money you get (Lou) and put it to good use.
Make A Wish foundation or any health origination.
Your half of the take.
This will show your real colors to many if you did this.
And just show the proof you did this & it might & I say might help you out.
If it was stolen in the first place you wouldn't have this kinda money in the bank.
I say lift a heart & Donate your share and make other people happy to live a happy life.

I retract my last statement I am sorry Simmo

Cindy

IMO they was made up the bank statements they didn't look 100% real

Cindy

Insinuations of doctored documents like that should be backed up please Cindy. I'm not familiar with US bank statements, but I didn't see anything obviously fraudulently presented. Didn't look real...because...?

Don't want to take sides, want to work it out.

Mj,

Man you asked a mouth full there!

What I don't want to do here is point fingers. Nor do I want to sit here and bullshit everyone into thinking everything is all right. But you can't forget, I am after all the new "VP of Marketing", so everything I say here is going to have that stain on it, and understandably so. I'm also an affiliate, and without bragging too much, I think I'm a pretty good one. So I'm not going to act like I'm not involved, I'm also not going to come here and just try and sell the brand. That being said, I'm also not going to throw in the towel just yet.

I see the long-range value in CAP, and the importance of keeping CAP alive. I don't expect you to understand, or agree with me. CAP, and PAP are as much communities as much as they are a business, and it's the community that IMO needs to thrive.

Or, they could pay the money that affiliates are owed from Cardspike, and return money to affiliate programs that paid to be "certified" only to have CAP/PAP implode in a public display, devaluing the prepaid program certifications.

I think that would be a better solution.

Why would any of the affiliates or programs want to support the financial interests of these three slimeballs? Please spin that one for us Bob.

Sure, there are tons of great members of the CAP community, and lots of fun to be had at their conferences. But after all that's gone down, why would anyone still want to be associated with the tarnished image of CAP?

I'm fairly confident you'll see them continuing to leave in droves, flocking to other boards to become part of those communities instead.

Sorry I forgot to say about the other guy (Warren Jolly)
His take pays all the affiliates & Players.
