I was talking to a rep today and was more than a little bit surprised when he told me the PC/Mobile split at their casinos.
Obviously, I'm an old git who still (nearly) always plays on a laptop - but it got me wondering what other members here use...?
So vote away! ;)

Cheers,
KK

I originally played on PC but as it aged, the games lagged so I used my iPad Mini 4. In September 2018 and June 2019 I got better laptops for video gaming and gambling and use it almost exclusively for the latter.

In my case, it is entirely on my desktop or laptop PC. I have never played slots on a mobile phone. And I never will.

I am (like yourself KK) definitely in the old school camp. I am quite proud to admit that I am still one of those Viper client-loving dinosaurs
To the extent that if slots were to no longer be playable on a laptop or PC, I would almost certainly stop playing slots altogether.
I might compromise and play on a tablet. But on a mobile? No way.

Apart from anything else, I simply like the "bigger screen experience".
Screen sizes on mobiles and tablets are just too small for my liking.

Desktop pc here - on rare occasions a laptop (though not often as its not very powerful).. and on the odd occasion on my mobile - but thats not very often as the performance can be varied depending on game. although mobile seems to have the advantage of games just working , whereby on pc, i tend to jump between browsers etc if a game isnt working properly etc. but performance is much better experience on pc.

About 2/3 years ago during a Grand National I think the split between mobile and desktop was around 80/20 in favour of mobile.

Desktop casinos/betting is a dying art.

That depends heavily on the operator, country and product. But there's more people playing casino on mobile than desktop now, but not as extreme as 80/20.

My figures were purely for grand National horse betting on the Day.

I don’t know for casino....

PC/Laptop only.

Phones are great when quickly checking something, making a payment or maybe sending a msg or even things like calling  someone.

When I want to enjoy entertainment (music/games/movies etc.), I always opt-in for the big screen and better hw over phones. In a similar manner, some go to a concert and record the whole show on their phones , while others enjoy the show like the band/entertainer intended it to be enjoyed.

It's not about old school vs. new kids on the block. It's just common sense and acquired wisdom over being addicted to a phone in your hand.

Rise up against the tyranny of the mobile connected (anti)social media and everything-all-the-time consumerism!

Seriously you mean i can actually use my phone to call someone.

As someone who has their Chinese on speed dial, I find it hard to believe you never speak to someone on it :p

We used the Asian takeaway near us so often that the guys used to recognise the number and go ‘extra onion’ etc without the need to ask.

Re the thread : laptop; everyone knows Bonanza runs at 90% on mobile, 96 laptop

I stopped playing on Mobile, limited anyhow, after Bonanza froze the screen on Sky Vegas once (or vice versa) - you couldn't even turn it off; it only had 10% when it happened at it's the longest 10% of charge had lasted. The actual phone was working behind it though and there was panic when i realised that i'd been going into emails/messages.making calls etc with visions of having forwarded things i shouldn't :eek2:

Depends on how good the site is as well - Sky, bar that above, was pretty slick and there are some sites that are more mobile friendly i find (L and l not great, SV and Unibet good etc)

Quite surprising results here, I wonder if it's because people on here tend to be older. Everything is geared up for mobile optimisation at the moment but my site gets more hits from desktops, both direct and from google than mobile.

Probably just the fact a site like this, and maybe yours too, attracts a more 'dedicated' player whereas the average player is more likely using a mobile device. Same with non-gaming games I'd imagine

Took the words out of my mouth. Everyone here is a dedicated slots player - the casual player will definitely use mobile more IMO
