I am a talkative and friendly gal. I don't play a gazillion different casinos, but there are a handlul I play regularly, at least for stretches. I can tell when time constraints or disinterest leaves me cold. But I talk with reps I've been dealing with for years at times, and while I am not chatty every time, at times I am.

Even when I have an issue, I strive to be pleasant. I don't often contact chat just to chat, but often I have a reason to.

So I have a poll up, and I wouldn't mind if any rep commented on how they feel about people like me as a customer either. My kid worked for a cell provider call centre, they were rated on friendliness, but marked down for taking too long on a call also.

IMO casinos sell entertaining. If chatting a bit with a rep about Windows 10 or the weather or what I am spending my winnings on or a grumble about the latest slot release, I hope it never impairs their job. For me, I'm more likely to be a repeat customer if I feel support is engaged and remembers me too. Landbased, once a VIP rep told me I had a good memory, when I commented on something he told me previously. I told him he had many customers, and I had only one VIP rep. He moved up the food chain, but he recalls me now from that one more personal encounter, and greets me by name without a player's card.

Not terribly chatty to be honest; just get my Qs answered pretty much, though I try to always be polite and wish them a good day/evening weekend etc. I probably banter more with reps and mngrs

Ha! Sometimes I have to cut them off because I started and now want to play. I've been told, and I believe it, that not all customers are as pleasant as me.

I type way too slow to even contemplate any type of banter-y tomfoolery.

I much prefer getting a nice email back from a rep with well thought out answers to my queries, it shows that personal touch. The art of conversation/ chat is long dead but I agree that when stumbling across someone who isn't a complete moronic drone in CR it is nice.

I'm also courteous to all and sundry but boy it seems many have taken lessons in apathetic antagonism when typing. This is why the best accredited casinos excel in CR because they have made CR their number one priority, it feels like you're interacting with someone who has your best interests at heart, at least in the gambling sense!

I have, on occasion, had longer sessions in chat then in the slots themselves :)
Not only do i try to be as clear as possible, i also make an effort to be as polite, friendly and funny as i can be.

I open up chats for game errors, queries about bonuses or new games, other technical oddities, if i spot flaws in texts they released, etc. Also when i am bored, and haven't got anything to play, then i may ask for a comp.

I have worked in the service industry most of my life, which heavily influences my attitude: not only do i know for a fact that you reap what you saw, as in be friendly - get treated friendly, but also that even if i am friendly, the people that are in those positions often get a lot of shite thrown at them, most of the times undeserved, and as such i always make an effort to give credit when it's due.

This i do either by telling the CSR directly, and then i may add my regards to the rest of the team, or by emailing management, or using various rating functions and/or giving feedback through surveys.

I also try to be elaborate, when doing so.
I have found that this behavior is rewarding. I have a history of being pampered in most of the Casino's i am loyal to, and i think a big part of it is how i deal with the rep's and managers.

It's all give and take, so my device is to always be friendly and patient, and good things may happen!

I remember some long-winded and hilarious chats, and back in the day when GoWild was my number one MG, i entered chat, looking for a comp, but knowing i wasn't really eligible at that point, being slightly tipsy and as such a bit more daring than usual, i started like this:

Look deeply into my eyes... @.@

I then made a series of silly remarks all under the guise of hypnotizing the CSR, with the climax being that when i snapped my fingers they would feel the sudden urge to credit my account with various goodies, and she ended up telling me the whole team was there, laughing their asses off :p
And because of that i got a huge comp in my account ^.^

Just saying, sometimes people forget they are dealing with other people, and like humor and friendliness can increase the pleasantries, of course it also works the other way: treat a Casino staff member without respect, or even rude or threatening, you may find your issues unresolved.

Lol, There not all gits but prefer not to talk to them, There are a good few ones out there, If they can not do more more than feed you BS, Lie and only able to check your name than I see no reason they should be there,

OHHH I do no why they are there & alot of time not to benefit us, I must admit they seem to be getting alot better but at the same time there is still alot of bad, Just that more casino is coming on to the market and trying to get there name across,

For me, I just want my issue resolved asap.

I don't like talking to them, they are either over friendly or douchey.

Also, not to forget the end of the convo where I have to wait for them to tell me to have a good day and is there anything else which can take up to 10 minutes.

Just say bye man..

Im never rude or hope not ;) but dont hang around making small talk. In / out ... for my answer. Only thing that really pisses me off is when mid play you get a chat box flying up asking if you want a bonus or "welcoming" you to the casino. Has happened a few times this year at a few casinos I wont mention here. I did inform them politely "to clear of and let me lose in peace"

But so long as they answer my questions im good. CS is hit and miss and they are some better than others. And some which are dreadful. I feel like shooting them when ever they inform me to clear my cookies!!! for game lag. Worked with Computer systems for 15 years so don't need some monkey telling me lame ass advise that is useless. That aside answer my Q quickly and Im fine :)

One thing to remember is that a lot CS agents can be dealing with many other customers at the same time, which is one of the reasons there can be long delays between answers.
So chatting to them about irrelivant things would just be delaying them even more, and possibly even annoying them more than they're polite enough to say.
Just be polite, but straight to the point

Usually politely brief and to the point.

I do recall getting friendly (very) even flirty with one of Digimedia's (Jackpot City) employees.

To start with this lead to slightly higher value ND FS, great Bonus offers and then.....

I got my invite over to South Africa !!! but unfortunately it fizzled out to nothingness. Having no passport was not the greatest start I s'pose!

It depends - I consider myself a friendly person, but not stupid - there are some CSR's who are all business, and that's fine - that's what a casino IS. 'Rude' is in a class by itself, and I steer clear of casinos with rude CSR's.

But there are some reps who are really fun to chat with, and even when they can't resolve my issue, it's still pleasant having some light back-and-forth with another person.

I am always super friendly, always saying Hello, saying bye and wishing awesome *time of the day*. Even when i am angry on casino. Why not? I am always remember that there is sitting just another human like me, and this man/woman just doing his/her work. Be rude with CS is stupid and never good imo.

I had a nice chat about the german football team with a chat-guy from Vera and John a while ago. It happens that it gets a little off-topic but I usually just ask for what I was joining chat for.

There is a chat operator at Trada casino which I find really attractive. I have to admit I once joined chat just because of her. :p

So usually I am very factual when chatting but from time to time I just like to talk a bit.

Depending on the site I use email support or live-chat. I have to admit that I am not that much interested in chatting with somebody I don't know. This might be different if I would chat with someone more regularly and start knowing him/her better. It usually is a short chat which I terminate after my query was dealt with. I am always friendly and start the chat with a warm greeting and end it with some kind words if the agent was helpful. Even if it does not work out I still stay kind.

Polite

Im always polite and try to not waste their time, even when frustrated as it is not the person in CS who sets the rules :)
I know i dont got the best sense of humour (at least that is what my wife says  ) so i spare them of having to be polite if i make jokes :)

Always friendly and polite. Usually to the point and not extending to chitchat, with the exception of Jan (L&L), and marketing manager at Klaver Casino, who IMO is one of the friendliest guys in the industry - even though I never met him in person - just good vibes. I did have one or two long chats with Jan, mostly discussing gambling sites, slot games and huge wins:)
