Hey mate!

We never had such situation, so I can't comment on myself. In 99% cases and with hand at heart - I believe 99/100 casino teams will decide just confiscate winnings and refund deposit.

Br,

That sounds like more than a fair outcome to me. I suspect some casinos might not be so forgiving. I think the sensible thing to do is avoid using the technology. One less thing to worry about :)

Hey mate!

It does not change your residence (VPN). If you from Germany and used UK IP - you still will be under MGA, and etc etc.

Question about game providers...Well, to be honest it is more about ethics. Indeed, some people using VPN to access games they can't access usually. But in most cases it is still not help. And even if it help - you should always understand you have a risk of all bets voided - since played games are not available for you. Or not voided, because generally you did nothing wrong. Like I said - more about ethics, not rules.

V.

Can confirm this as I have tons of providers blocked because of my country of residence. I can change VPN to a Mars or Jupiter IP and they are still blocked. :D :D

when im abroad in denmark and use my mobile as im with Three (free roam feel at home) I am recognized as being in uk. I can play sky vegas and other casinos with no problems.

Funny thing this is technically not VPN and all you need to do is just setup wifi from phone and i can run on my laptop as well.

To be honest signal is very crap and not the best but it works when not in UK.

Anyone from UK with similar phone contract can do this most countries are covered now.

Okay stupid question probably, but what is a VPN used for?

Cover up your IP and letting the site you visit know you are in a specific country. VPN suppliers have servers in most countries, especially those asking for a monthly fee (about 10USD) and you can pick and choose.

Basically, you are sitting in Scotland and would use VPN if you want to show that you are in lets say Germany. They will handle your traffic via a German server as long as the VPN is on.

Sounds sneaky to me lol

My 2cents. VPN's are becoming more prevalent in today's age and not only to protect people from hackers. A lot of people are uncomfortable with Google and others tracking everything a person does. So people use VPN's for personal security and protecting their privacy. I am sure most people don't use them for nefarious purposes although I have no doubt some do. If a person is using a VPN in their country set to their country there should not be restrictions on that. Who knows what the future is going to hold with how big tech tracks and uses our data?

1: Google is not a ISP. Unless you use the public DNS servers of google, google has no awareness of what sites visit unless you use their services.

2: A VPN could be traced to origin. ISP's (yes a VPN service is technically a ISP as well) has to keep track of who rents what and what personal details are involved in that. Dont believe your 100% anonymous on the net, if they want to know who's behind that one particular VPN they'll get it.

3: Start using DECENT adblocking addons. I have 'm both setup for my workstation, my Iphone and it kills all the possible tracking that's used on websites. Think of Facebook, Analytics, Adsense, many ad farms with invasive advertisement going on and all. I do this because ad farms get hacked once in a while and start serving malware. I cant trust those 3rd party's at all.

There's hardware to protect you even further. Search for Pihole, search for

for example, even your Windows 10, 8.1 or 7 installation is basicly part of what's called "Telemetry" and is sending out data to MS servers in constant basis. There's tools and workarounds to almost fully disable that stuff.

VPNs are useless nowadays for Canadian gamblers. All games from all slot providers are tighter than ever. Unless you’re the lucky bloke of the day, you’re not going to beat the stacked house. I’m going to probably lose whether I play blocked slots (Novomatic, Net Entertainment, Big Time Gaming, Next Gen) or the ones still available (Microgaming, Quickspin, Play ‘n Go, Doug’s Casino) so I said “Don’t Care”. The entire industry is going down the toilet due to greed.

i honestly havent found them any 'tighter' and releases are still in the 96ish range, just less bonuses - i miss some of the blocked providers though, wish i had access to the full portfolio of slots :(

@dionysus

Yeah, I guess I equate “tighter” with “less bonuses”.

I just miss Bonanza and wish I could play Novomatic. I don’t care about the rest.
i dont much like BTG anwyway, but Bonanza was pretty good for playtime :)
It'll be at olg in like 2020 but i rarely play there as the slots selection is horrendous
