If i set a daily deposit limit say £50 AFTER I have deposited way over that amount already, why does the casino not put that limit instantly but instead only the next day?

How is this responsible gaming? I could lose thousands in next 24hrs before it kicks in, in theory. How is this acceptable?

Could be many reasons, I'd have a stab at it, perhaps they want to rake in as much as possible before the limit kicks in? Because if you lost the shirt off your back prior to the block, well, they still acknowledged your request in a timely manner. Not their fault these things take 24 hours, is it?

To suggest otherwise is ludicrous

I'm guessing your deposit limit before you requested this £50 per day was something below <£1500 per month?

As some sites work out that technically a £50 per day deposit limit is more than say £300 per week or £1000 per month so they count it as you increasing your limit and so you have to wait the 24 hours.

There should not be any kind of time delay when setting a limit, especially if it is the first limit to be set.
