My point is rather simple: You willingly support a casino that has been "rogued" by this very site, you have no reservations about continuing to play there, and you don't care if supporting a below board entity like Crystal Palace -which makes tidy profits by wrongfully absconding winnings AND deposits from countless players, including a fair number who posted here - helps keep these crooks fat and happy, as long as you personally benefit.

Seriously, that's your perogative, but how can you honestly expect sympathy/empathy from folks who do have higher ethical standards?

And I know you probably take solace from some of these "holier than thou" posters who give you kudos for "sharing your story" and continuing to play online because you have "every right to do so". Since you seem to be fixated on my personal life (recommending I get divorced for instance..) let me state for the record, I don't gamble online anymore since I learned my lesson from this debacle. I'm much happier as a result, however I'm not condemning anybody who still plays. I had some issues and I thankfully resolved them.

however on this particular subject i do feel there are too many babies without parents and homes that those who cannot naturally produce children (homosexuals and infertiles/steriles alike) should not be using artificial help to create more babies. with fertility drugs also, more eggs are often fertilized, resulting in the side effect of multiples, many of which are often terminated during the pregnancy. subjecting ourselves to these conditions is unnatural and unnecessary given that there are so many young people who never had a chance to have a home with loving parents and may never yet get that chance, and the life they might have had, had they had that, is too much to overlook. even in the event i can phyically create children (admittedly i'd like to create a child of my own, but if i couldn't i could live with that, i'm young yet anyhow, a green 22), i am stongly considering adoption as well, given i can afford to take on a child. whenever thinking about a child, i will consider adoption each time. and if i decide i can't afford to physically adopt any children, at the least i will pay the $250 annually to sponsor one in a developing country.

unless all the countries "develop" by like 2015, maybe they won't need it. who knows, maybe world peace will come and charity can provide for all the world's needy. in the words of stephen colbert: "astronomers have discovered an earth-like planet in another solar system, drive those hummers all you want folks". that's promising, the rich can fly away to live on another planet, and indeed the meek shall inherit the earth! religion is cool to study but imo not to follow, there are too many views on it and no "one true way" like science always boasts of having. not that i'm a huge fan of science either. some of it is also fudged bollocks, like remember when the earth was flat? or when human flight without a lighter-than-air balloon was physically impossible?

I'm not sure if you'll understand this phrase, but it's like rubbing salt in an open wound.

Because I think the reason that DC and others (myself included) are getting upset is because it's like you're saying, "screw you, I got paid". I know that's not what you're saying, but that's the way it's coming across, at least to me it is.

for one thing, fallsview doesn't allow any sort of cameras at all, my mom even got tapped on the shoulder about it in the RESTAURANT snapping a pic out the window when she and i went last time. this time when i went, i heard they had lower table limits and better availability for blackjack at casino niagara, so i went there instead. same players card for both, so still free parking and the points are stacking up. actually i am going to post a trip report in wild cards (was going to post under other complaints about the issues of fallsview versus c-niagara, but won't since it may get overlooked there) just for fun. i didn't make any major wins since i played mostly bj at tables betting for <$20 hand. and i don't have a digital camera and didn't have any good machine wins to capture anyhow, so the camera and screenie issue didn't come up this time.

you can read all about my experience in the next few hours or tomorrow whenever i get around to posting it. i think i may go play that spiderman-ish game some more right now (see the post i made there last night?), or maybe hit up some online poker or ps2 games. i'll put it up soon though, it's mostly already typed up. the falls is a wicked place to go, but food and entertainment are expensive like any tourist town. but if you pick and choose and research carefully, you can have a lot of fun for a relatively reasonable price, and if you win at the casinos you might even pay for the whole trip on the government of ontario's dime!
