I have a question.

When you play slots, is this the normal and what we all should expect most times?

Quick run down.

Only one casino this refers too.

$3000 of deposits and some bonuses/freechips. Bets range from 50 cents to $1.25...Mostly around 50-75 cents. Been years since a cashout. (although I did take a year break from them cause I could not stop losing) and recently returned only to see the losing pick right back up where I left off)

10% of the time I get above my starting balance but its never more than about $25.

90% I dont get above the starting balance. And will zero out very quickly most times.

For example start with $200. betting 50 cents per spin. usually within an hour or two im busto.

Slots range from low variance to high. I wont stay on high ones way too long cause it eats my balance.

Welcome to the world of gambling? Or just on a very bad run with this casino

You must be playing some horrible slots.

Try Gonzo's Quest.

Edit: I noticed your from Canada so you probably dont have access to NetEnt software.
Not sure about IGT but if so try some of those games.

well Rtg have 3 settings that the operator can choose from. Can't recall the ranges but the lowest is in the low 90s rtp wise. this will effect payouts longer term. Plus Rtg are for the most part high variance. coming from Canada I suggest you try other software. netent etc. and of course finally if luck not with you it won't matter what software u use. sounds like a horrendous run though. hope it turns around for you :)

canadians have access to betat, videoslots and guts. all offering different software. as well as the MG slots.

when i lose which is most of the time these days...i change casinos.

try playing somewhere else?

I would say that is highly unusual - even with RTG slots.
Are you playing a particular small number of games?
If so, which ones?

Being in the UK I can play almost any brand of software (except Rival ) - and even I chose to play RTG sometimes. They do have some great games! I don't play it anywhere near as much as other softwares, but I have a pretty good collection of wins over x100:
My second biggest win anywhere in 15 years (by multiplier) was x1528 on Count Spectacular. I've had x805 on Paydirt, x768 on Rain Dance, x756 on London Inspector, x500 on Crazy Vegas and wins over x200 on Paydirt (again), Loose Caboose, Ghost Pirates, Hillbillies Cashola, Jackpot Piñatas, Realm of Riches, Triton's Treasure, Golden Glove, Bulls and Bears,T-Rex, Astec's Gold and Bunko Bonanza.

It is true that there are (or were) up to 3 RTP setting available, but it is the widely held belief that most RTG's use the middle setting, which is 95% on most of their games.

Thats the thing though in todays day - there should be NO belief or conjecture when it comes to the settings of a payout on a game.
RTG are pretty much doomed when the USA finally opens its doors to online gaming again which at some point it will do.

They have no transparency in this regard and so the subject always comes up and because they are not open about this which leads many to ask
"what they could be hiding" ?

Here's my 2 cents lockinlove. Firstly, do not play the games that other members have luck on. Never, ever works for me. Certain slots just seem to work better for some people. For example. many members have recommended Steamtower. I have not won a cent on that. Same as Playboy, Twinspin, Wonky Wabbits, Gemix, --- oh I could go on forever.

Secondly, if you are consistently losing at one casino move on. There are certain casinos where I couldn't win a cent time after time. I am thinking you are liking the perks at this certain casino (Videoslots perhaps?). Best to take a time out, try somewhere new and come back again. Albeit, I am not very lucky so I would be the last person I would take advice from. LOL.

Totally agree

I'm actually a bit surprised, that when UK licensing of online casinos came into force in November 2014, that casinos were not obliged to clearly state the TRTP of every game, somewhere within the game - just like UK fruit machines HAVE to have the TRTP stated on the front where customers can see it.
If I had my way, ALL slots from ALL softwares would have to have this on the main playing screen of the game - not hidden in the rules or some other obscure place. Like you say - everyone knows all the games have a house edge, so what HAVE they got to hide?

Totally agree! If I can't find the RTP, I click on the X and I open another game.

Highly unusual is damn right! lol.

I have been so shocked and blown away at this "bad luck" I have contacted the casino to review my play history to see if im doing something wrong or playing the wrong slots...looking for an answer...anything really.

m going to assume by my returns its on the lowest return possible. The reason why i say this, is my gameplay sample is fairly large so its not like im doing 10,000 spins and losing and writing this.

I do like RTG slots personally...they arent my number one go to provider. I now have it stuck in my head "ok I must have hundreds of thousands of spins without a win or a hit...its coming soon so keep playing" lol ridiculous thinking I know but doesnt a cold streak have to end? Especially over this massive long period?

I will admit I have come very very close to closing down all rtg casinos because I question everything about them through this wild cold spell. Especially this last session where I had $200 and it was gone in no time again betting 50 cents for 95% of the time. Im honestly not even getting any play time either
