Just a quick thank you to all members and readers and credit to the site its self,

I no I am not the best to explain things and express words but I do hope you all get the rough idea of what I say,

Before I signed up here I was an avid reader long before, I just wanted to say that I am not lazy or write bad on for the fun of it, Since I have been here & the stick I used to receive about my typo I have tried my best to learn and hopefully this you can see, It has not been an easy process as me believe me as crazy as it seems I have not needed to write before so meister was really the first experience I had to interact threw written,

I have singed up to a few sites (forums) but nether used them, Only here, I do use facebook ect but if you think my written is bad than that's a next level :)

I have been told to use auto spell ect but what use is it when I do not no if I am using the right word? I am getting no younger so I'm afraid that's me, Alow my saying is your nether to old well when it comes to things like this you either no how to do it or not,

Thank you all if you have read this & goes to show you do navigate around the site & not just tease me with the winning screen shots :)

    Happy Spinning All

You're right spintee - this forum is so much more than just a place to post screenshots.

I wouldn't worry too much about spellings etc, even those who use every checking tool they can find still have difficulties making themselves understood

If everybody was a copy of everybody else it would be a very boring world. Faults are what I call "the good stuff" and makes each of us individuals

While you are by no means someone I would want to have writing the directions on how to use a parachute :D you do get your point across and you are not afraid to speak up on issues you feel strongly about. Your unique writing style gives you an extra dimension of personality which I am sure many here (myself included) find endearing.

Being a low roller, I have gotten much useful information from many of your posts and your no-nonsense approach is always appreciated.

Just keep doing what you do and being you.

I must say I think it's great that you dare to write, and you're getting better on it every day

I know exactly how you have felt since I constantly have to write in a language I don't really master, and I think I apologized for it in my first 500 posts or so until they told me to stop doing that

Just keep being you and speak up. You're just as valuable as anyone else here :)

No worries, I am not a native English speaker and was lucky to have a great teacher in primary school where we had English as foreign language from 2nd grade onwards. She would let us do grammar and spelling over and over again. Little did I know that these basics would come in handy one day. My mother tongue is German but I grew up in beautiful Transylvania (Romania). Later in life I emigrated to Germany and the English language sort of went on a back burner.

At 27 I realized that without a good command of English I won't have a chance to get an interesting job in a different country. So I moved to scenic Worcester, UK to study English and started a job there with just a few words of English left in my brain. One year later I had my exam in professional English at University College Worcester, were I had to write 2 short stories within 2 hours..... result: not a single spelling mistake, remembered my English teacher from primary school and thanked here profoundly. Stayed 6 years in Worcester before moving to France to learn another language. By this time, I realized that languages are my thing and I speak now 7.

Currently I am learning number 8, Thai. Not an easy one :)

What I am trying to say is, it is never too late to start learning whatever it is. I like your posts and got no problem whatsoever with the odd spelling mistake. I also take my hat off for having the guts to write your post.

    Good Luck to everyone
    Harry :)

It is great that people can come here and feel as relaxed and welcome as they do. I only joined a few months back and I already consider this my number one visit for gambling forums. I've also had quite an education by visiting here. I learn something new every day and that has pleasantly surprised me.

I wasn't aware you had any issues with your writing Spintree, until you mentioned it in your thread. I join the many voices in commending you in tackling your fears head on and becoming one of the most frequent posters on CM. It is very rare that a day passes where you haven't contributed in some way to the forum and that is a good thing by the way :)

The great thing about all this is that you will keep improving and developing your writing style. It's a great way of enjoying a hobby/interest and working on your grammar.

Wow - just realised how easy it is to take writing for granted. Had to double check myself a few times on this post, ie. its or it's and grammer or grammar.

Must be true as I read that perfectly first time Lol.

Anyway this is first time reading this thread as somehow missed it. Thought I would say theres no need to apologise for your writing Spintee as not everyone is great at reading and writing.

The main thing is you participate in the forum and enjoy it here and many of your posts are helpful. If anyone does comment on your posts then ignore the comments as it takes a bigger man to join a forum and write who struggles with reading and writing than it does to make comments on someones writing.

    Anyway keep posting away:thumbsup:
