chargeback due to cybercrime

I don't gt it - what's the point of taking someones money from their bank acct or CC when anything potentially won is only gonna be bounced back to the same bank or CC.
"Woo-hoo, I hacked this guy's acct and made him an extra 1k"

Smells really whiffy.

I get one form or another of a scam pretty much on a daily basis. The current one is the spoofed local phone number claiming they're from Microsoft Support. They call 2-3 times a day now. I don't answer it anymore.

Then I was getting the payment invoice email attachment which is a ransomware virus, according to the web anyway.

I even get this one now and then. I forward it to the PP team.

I know casinodaddy was hacked on stream, I believe they opened up a link and then later the they used their money to play blackjack (and lost). Must have been more of a trolling though, as again they wouldn't be able to receive any money-

Something similar happened to me at virgin games a while back (thread is here somewhere)
Someone was depositing cash on my account with cards I’ve zero knowledge of and trying to withdraw the deposit to a e-wallet (I’ve never and still don’t have a e-wallet)
About 20 odd deposits where made, none where successfully withdrawn.
There was £300 in the account which got there via the cards I’ve zero idea about, virgin said just play the balance to zero, so i done that and they opened me a fresh account.
I lost nothing financially as my bank and cards etc where not affected, I contacted the police and action fraud also Virgin a few times after.
Never got a explanation from either of them to this day.
Bizarre

So another thread that is named chargeback. @dunover - this also enforces my point I made in that other thread the other day now?

Fraudsters and dodgy people will come up with the most ridiculous stories that are soo fake you can usually tell so easily, yes sometimes they are believable but mostly they are not.

I think this OP member needs a ban @Casinomeister :D

Ban the OP? Why?

From my own experience guys (from 5 years experience), about 98% of such cases - it is just a customers who lost their funds, and now 'telling the stories'.

If it's really a problem and you believe it was a crime - go to police. If police can't help (I have doubts here, if there is a real crime - how it is possible they just say go away) - how you expect casino can help?

CasinoDaddy is a large group of people. It was probably one of them playing from home.
I haven't heard of the "hack" but Jesus was fired from the show a while back, and when asked they say "creative differences" all tough he was the face of the channel for maybe 60% of its uptime.
Not saying this is what happened but not saying it isn't, either.
