Playamo Withdrawl to a closed bank account

Hi everyone,
Just wanting to ask if anyone has experienced a withdrawal being paid into a closed bank account from PlayAmo or another online casino.
My withdrawal was processed on 4 May to a bank account that had already been closed. The casino keeps telling me the financial department is investigating it with the payment processor, but it has now been around 25 days and I still haven’t received the funds or a clear answer.
Has this happened to anyone else before?

  • Did the payment bounce back automatically?
  • How long did it take for the funds to be returned or reprocessed?
  • Was the casino able to resend the withdrawal to a new account?


Any advice or experiences would really help because the wait time is becoming stressful.
 
Never experienced this or come across this before to be honest. I have had affiliate payments in the past get routed ( incorrectly ) through the US. Similar scenario as the payment basically got blocked as a result.

This took several weeks for the affiliate program that sent the payment to rectify - they had to wait until said payment was returned to their account.

Unfortunately Playamo do not have a rep here on Casinomeister, furthermore they are rogued: Playamo

Thank you for your reply. That actually sounds very similar to what may have happened in my situation. My withdrawal was apparently paid into a closed bank account, so I’m wondering if they are now waiting for the funds to be returned before they can resolve it.





It’s concerning hearing that it took several weeks in your case, especially with PlayAmo already having a poor reputation and no representative on here to assist. At this stage I just want clear communication and confirmation of where my funds currently
 
You would need to go back to your old bank account, if you closed it and it was in good standing there is a 50/50 chance they have not bounced it back initially ; if it was a bank account that was closed and you owed funds you will be SOL and the bank will keep the funds. If it was bounced back it still takes ages btw.
