Can casinos give you a lower RTP setting?

Jon,
I can only suggest keep away from my usual slots and you know what they are or your deposit will not last too long.

Trouble is my usual slots are pretty much the same as yours.

I have tried games which are 'new' to me and find they are even worse or simply boring to play.

My faves have been my faves for a long time and there is a reason that they are my faves in that they are or in this case they WERE fair.

Regardless of RTP, variance, etc etc I knew pretty much 'what to expect' most sessions. Example: How old is Thunderstruck (original with Ram's) I have over 100 screen shots of great wins, had the 5 scatters 15 times - none from 2015 tho with same play/spins

All I now know what to expect is a foul mood and an early night (although the mood usually passes after 10 minutes or so :p)

I played these games:

Immortal romance. Jurassic park, GOT, Twin Spin, Thunderstruck 2, Dark Knight. Avalon 2 - Very High

Dead or Alive, Creature from the black lagoon. Gonzo's quest. Wishmaster, Secret of the stones, Terminator, Wonkey Wabbits } All Very Fckin High!!:D

I play all this games on the regular, and sometimes one or two of them are paying rally bad but to have all at once.

Dead or alive fore example usually gives bonus rounds very regularly. Today i lost 3 deposits on 0.45 and 0.90 stake without even getting one. Only game that paid a llitle bit was Dark knight.

I revised Dunover's list to fit my opinion/experiences

Agree with Dunover though that adding BDBA and Raging Rhino would make a complete list of how to destroy your bankroll in record time.. That said, they are all fun to play for their sheer potential, as each of them has some funky wins on the paytable.

But, i feel you are looking for playtime too, so out of that list i would say best bet is either BDBA or DOA, the latter being the better one, as i have been hammering both slots for years, and can tell you they really give a fair amount of playtime overall, you just need to bet as small as you can.. 0.09 and 0.18 cents are plenty to win big with (in the 100's) and will ensure even the smallest deposit will last you plenty time on average...

Also note that the longer you last, the higher your chance gets for a big return, statistically: no guarantees though:)

You did state you bet 0.45 and 0.90 today, the question is , how big was your deposit?
What i said about lowering your stake holds less value if you deposited 250,- + and took a bonus:)
Hitting no bonus on DOA does occur often, but mostly only if your roll is good for 500 spins or less.
I'd say on average, it will trigger a bonus every 500 spins on bad days, and once in every 200 spins or less in normal mode. And even if the bonuses are far and between, it usually still gives you a ratio of 3 to 1 or higher on your money.

On really good days you can see consecutive features, and nice line wins with greater regularity.

Also im not complaining i diddent win. Its just the way i lost thats nagging me. Just the really dead spins all day. If i lost my money having a good time i would not complain.
If you want lots of play-time and lots of (small) wins - try low variance slots instead.
That is my preference. I gets loads of x100+ wins - but very few x200+ wins. I usually get lots of play-time for my money and I do still sometimes win enough for a decent cash-out. ;)

RTG have in fact 3 RTP models.
91/93/95 IIRC although KK reckons one model is 97%.
Not quite...
There are actually 2 or 3 settings, but the middle one is not the same on all their slots: 91%, 94% or 95% and 97.5%.
Loads of slots have the 97.5% option - but I believe most RTG casinos only use the middle setting.
(The only time this has been called into serious doubt, was over the "double pear" issue on Fruit Frenzy...)
Note: I only have the data for slots released before 2010:
